“Chad, he is my son,” he replied and she stared at him
“he is not supposed to die, how come,” she muttered staring at him with a shocked expression

The fire flame going up in the sky was something to talk about, everyone was present as they watch the body of Chad burn into ashes, Kalinda was there staring at it with memories running through her mind

Tears rolled freely down her cheeks as she stared at the fire flame, it continued that was till everyone started departing, she looked around but Hunter was nowhere to be found, and neither did Xavier attend

Kalinda continues walking till she get to the edge of a cliff, she sat down near it staring down below
The cliff was up to 10,000 ft cos she could barely see the ground, it was covered with smoke and trees that she could barely see
“What am I living for?” she asked no one in particular
“Have hope,” her immortal said inside her head
“My hope is gone, I was told that I was gonna die but look at me, at 26, and am still alive. What happened to the death they told me about when I was just 8? what happened to it?” she shouted
“Only the gods can answer that,” her immortal replied
“Füçk these gods, they took my baby, I wasn’t the best daughter my mother could ask for but if they wanted me why not just take me and leave my baby, I fulfill the prophecy but I lost my peace, they took away the only thing that mattered to me,” Kalinda shouted turning around
“Don’t do that which you’re thinking right now,” her immortal said and she scoffed
“First it was my mom then my baby, why not just kill me?” she yelled, falling on her knees
Kalinda buried her face in her palm as she shed uncontrollable tears
“Am going crazy,” she uttered and stood up
