” Noooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
She woke up panting and sweating profusely in bed. Her heart was racing as fast as lightening.
It was a nightmare, a horrible one.
She didn’t realize that she wasn’t even in the same room she slept in before, until she saw Celestia and Diane.
She was back in her room.
” Kimora! Are you okay?” Celestia asked instantly.
” Was it a nightmare? What happened?” Diane added.
” How’d I get here? Where’s Damon?” She asked in panic and stood.
” He’s okay. He was the one who came to drop you here.” Celestia answered.
” Where is he? When will he come back for me?” She asked impatiently.
” Relax. He said he had to do something important by himself. Hell surely come back.” Diane assured.
” And, Kimora… We’re really sorry about May’s death. We should’ve told you sooner, we only meant well.” Celestia said guiltily.
” We’re sorry, honestly. Please forgive us.” Diane apologized.
” I’ve forgiven you both a long time ago. We’re cool.” Kimora said, then they all shared a short but sincerely warm hug.
” Let’s head to classes. We’re having Sir Orion’s class today, we wouldn’t wanna miss that.” Diane said excitedly.
” His classes are always interesting. C’mon, let’s go.” Celestia added and pulled her out of the room, then they all headed for the class together.
♣ UNDERWORLD OF DARKNESS ♣
There was only one powerful ruler of the underworld. She was the ultimate Queen of Darkness, Heather Nightingale.
She has been ruling the underworld for many years, no supernatural can dare to challenge or overthrow her. She’s ruthless.
She sat on her throne elegantly, looking so dark and soulless as she held a staff in her hand.
She was gazing into an orb, watching King Eric. She could see anything she wished to see from the orb.
A dark smile came over her thin lips.
” Call Raya for me.” She said to ome of the demons, and he immediately went to get her.
Raya came minutes later and bowed before her.
” Queen Heather, you summoned me.” She said.
” I have a mission for you.” She stated.
” Anything, my Queen.” She answered.
” Head to Euphoria kingdom and get wedded to their king. He’s in need of a bride, his kingdom is in great suffering because he doesn’t have one. I want you to do that for me.” She said, and Raya looked up at her.
” But, my Queen, I don’t think I can do it. What if he rejects me? I don’t even know his taste of women, he might even do worse…”
” Don’t worry about that. He’ll accept you no matter what. Just make sure he doesn’t marry any other apart from you.” Queen Heather said.
” Yes, My Queen of Darkness.” Raya succvmbed obediently.
♣ ROYAL PALACE ♣
King Eric’s kingdom was in trouble. The unforseen disasters that he was warned about were already beginning to happen everywhere.
The merchants weren’t making any sales because their rich customers mysteriously refused to buy from them. Their food finished quickly, making his people poor, sick and hungry.
Many deaths and accidents had been recorded already, making him seem like a bad King.
He was sitting on his throne in the courtroom, brooding deeply when Master Chaos stepped in.
” King Eric, you can easily stop all these disasters yourself. You could get a decent girl to marry, and the gods will be pacified. They’ll stop being angry at the kingdom.” He advised.
” I already have a princess coming to this kingdom soon. She’s from Egnard Kingdom.” He retorted, and Master Chaos was caught dumbfounded.
” But, My Lord, I suggest that you take my daughter, Hester’s hand into marriage. It’ll only make sense that you married my daughter since we’re so close now. I’ll even become your in-law, it’s the right thing to do.” He protested.
” I already have a Princess coming, and that is it. I don’t want your daughter.” He had his final say and left the courtroom.
Master Chaos clenched his fists and glared, fuming angrily.
” We’ll see about that.” He scorned.
♣ EUPHORIA INSTITUTE ♣
They were all in class already, with several other students too, with Sir Orion right in front of the class.
He had begun teaching them minutes ago, but Kimora was too far gone in her thoughts to understand or listen to a word he said. She was deeply worried about the nightmare she had.
She sighed for the millionth time.
” We all have different types of powers. It might not be easy to handle them at first, but with the right guidance and training, your powers can even get upgraded.” Sir Orion taught.
” But befóre I forget, I hve to announce to you that our Prom Night will be taking place in two days, right here in the Institute.” He stated, and the whole class cheered and whooped except for Kimora.
He couldn’t help but notice that she wasn’t paying attention and grew curious about her.
” Hey, you there.” He called at her, and she looked at him.
” What’s your name?” He asked.
” Kimora Hyacinth.” She replied lamely.
” Well, Kimora, you don’t seem to be following the lecture. Is anything wrong with you?” He asked with concern.
” I know what’s wrong with her. She’s pregnant, but her baby doesn’t have a father ‘cos she’s a whore.” Hester told, and the whole class actually bursted into laughter.
A guy glared at Hester, pissed off by her action.
” You can’t tease anyone you like, Hester. Apologize to her, now.” He ordered.
” You can’t tell me what to do. I’m not your slave girl.” She spat and sat back, folding her arms.
Celestia was happy about the guy standing up for Kimora like that and stared at him with a smile.
” I need to be excused.” Kimora said and hurriedly stood up, leaving the class without permission.
She went straight to her room and slammed the door, then went to peer out of the window.
She wasn’t at all annoyed by what Hester did, she just needed some time alone to calm herself down.
She was still on that when suddenly, her scroll appeared right in front of her. She was stunned by its sudden appearance and stepped back.
Seeing that it was harmless, she went back to take it from the air. She opened it and could see everything written in it.
The letters in the scroll looked foreign and strange, but she could surprisingly understand everything written there. She was even surprised herself.
Right from her birth from her past to her present, she could see everything there.
She went to the part of her present anf began reading from there.
” She was stunned by the appearance of the scroll and moved back at first. She came back to the scroll seeing that it posed no danger and took it, then began reading its content.” She read aloud.
Nervousness became her companion at that point. It was written like a story.
” As nervousness and anxiety got the best of her, she was curious to know what would happen next, but was unaware of the evil that would happen to her next.” She read, and became even more scared at this point.
” The evil approached her from behind without her knowledge. It stabbed her from behind, then she went down unconscious. The evil turned out to be…”
That was the last thing she read before the stab came, and she yelped in pain as she held her stomach. Her cloth got covered in blood immediately.
She panted in pain and didn’t even get to see who stabbed her before she passed out.
Oberon revealed right behind her, grinning devilishly at her.
He picked up the scroll in her hand. It was blank, so he cramped it up and threw it away like a useless piece of paper.
He grabbed her in his arms and vanished since he couldn’t fly with a single wing.
♣ ROYAL PALACE ♣
Hours later, Raya arrived at the palace. She was being escorted in by maids and guards to meet the King.
She was dressed in a royal gown with a crown on her head, looking like a true princess indeed.
She arrived at the courtroom, where King Eric was. They all bowed for him, except Raya.
” You can all leave.” He told them emotionlessly, and they all exited, leaving Raya before him.
Anxiety, fear, nervousness, name it. She was feeling it all as she stood in front of him while he gazed at her with his heartless eyes.
He stood from his throne and began walking to her. Raya held her breath in suspense.
He walked past her like she was a ghost. She was shocked and turned back to him.
” My King.” She called him, and Eric stopped going.
” Aren’t you gonna tell me anything?” She asked, and he turned back to her with a mocking laughter that scared her.
” Füçk you for that dumb question that you asked.” He insulted, and Raya gasped with wide eyes.
” But… I’m your Queen. You can’t talk to me like that.” She retorted.
” Who said that you are my queen? Get this into your stupid head. You are the Queen to this Kingdom, but you’re not my wife in anyway. Stay apart from me and don’t let us cross paths if you wanna stay long here.” He told cruelly and walked out on her.
Even after he left, she could still feel his icy aura hanging around. He was so cruel and unwelcoming to her.
The maids and guards came back to escort her to her chamber, then they left.
♣ SECRET HIDEOUT ♣
Kimora was taken to the hideout in the forbidden parts of the kingdom and was tied up to a tree. Her stomach was still bleeding from the stab as she remained unconscious, then the gang gathered in front of her.
” What do we do with her now?” Terrius asked.
” We’ll wait and be patient. It’ll only take a matter of time before her partner gets here, I’m killing them both together.” He smirked evilly.
They all spreaded out and hid in different places immediately, waiting for Damon to arrive.
As expected, he appeared and stood weakly, holding his bleeding stomach.
He saw Kimora tied up on the tree and rushed to her. He held her face in worry.
” Mora… Mora… Mora wake up!” He tapped her face, and she twitched her eyes, opening them slightly.
” Damon…” She muttered weakly.
” Kimora… What happened to you? How did you get stabbed?” He asked uneasily.
” It’s a trap.” She said before blacking out again, and he raised his brows in confusion.
Almost immediately, Terrius and Yisabel flew out of different places and attacked him from the sides. He senses the danger immediately and turned back, blocking them both with his arms.
It was a distraction, so that he wouldn’t guard his front. Oberon appeared with a sword and made to stab him, but he threw off Yisabel and Terriu, grabbing the sword just in time.
He snatched it from Oberon and stabbed him fully. He yelled horribly in pain and fell on his knees with the sword stuck in his belly.
Damon went to untie Kimora from the tree. She fell in his arms, then hugged her tightly. Their wounds got healed in the process, and Kimora awakened, standing on her own.
” Damon! You’re okay!” She exclaimed and hugged him tightly again.
” Mora.” He said in the hug, then they broke it. He held her face with a serious look.
” Your brother is causing danger in your life as long as he lives. He’s the one who cursed you, right? You have to kill him to break the curse.” He said.
” But… Damon, I don’t want to. I can’t have blood in my hands again.” She protested.
” He isn’t a good person. He’s a monster, he’s a demon, a devil. Wh@tëver you wanna call him, he doesn’t deserve to be here. You have to break the curse. You can’t keep living with it. It’s affecting me too.” He said.
He went to Oberon and pulled the sword out of his body. Oberon cried out as he extended the sword to her.
” Take the sword and finish him. You have to murder this fool for ruining your life.” He told pitilessly.
She slowly grabbed the sword and walked to Oberon. Her hands were trembling on it, and she started sweating.
Oberon saw her fear clearly and cackled monstrously.
” You can never have the heart to kill me. You have always been born to be a slave to me, a nobody. You could never stand up for yourself because you didn’t have the powers to do so. Your own family h@tëd you because you were so useless and powerless.” He inhumanely reminded her of her past pains.
The sky darkened immediately, and wind blew heavily as she started losing the confidence to kill him.
” You are a nobody. You are a cursed child. You’ll never be anything! You’re powerless against me!!!” He taunted her further.
The sword eventually dropped out of her trembling hands, and she palmed her face.
” I didn’t want to do this to you before, but now I have no choice.” She said and uncovered her face.
Her eyes became bright with light immediately, and she levitated powerfully into the air. Oberon was beyond shocked and stupified as she gave him a true display óf her powers.
She lifted him into the air with telekinesis and gave him the Ultima shock of his life. She sent millions of lightening bolts to strike him at once, and Oberon screamed so hellishly and excruciatingly.
Sparks flew out of his body as the light from all the lightening was so blinding.
The lightening attack stopped, and she landed back on her feet. All that was left of Oberon were his bones, and they piled up on one another while emanating hot smoke.
She had a ruthless look on her face as her eyes turned back to normal. She smirked, feeling so good that she murdered an arch enemy in her life.
She turned to Damon, and he pulled her into a tight hug.
” I’m so proud of you. You finally broke your curse.” He said proudly.
” It took a whole lot out of me, but it’s all thanks most especially to you.” She returned gratefully, tightening the hug.
