“I want you to go back, and I want you to become the leader your father has always hoped for.” She walked close to him, placing her hand on his left cheek. “When you finally become that leader, I’ll be waiting for you to come take me home.”
“Promise me you won’t leave. Promise me you won’t let any other man into your life.”
“I promise you that I will not let any man into my life. I don’t care how long it takes for you to come back, I’ll be waiting. I’ll be waiting for you.”
He grabbed her into his arms. “I’ll go home tomorrow, and I’ll take the empire. After that, I’m coming back for you, I promise.”
“I know, and I believe you.”
“I love you, Ana.”
“I love you too.”
She woke up, gasping softly. She glared around the room, it’s just her alone on her bed. She thought of the face she has just seen in her dream but she doesn’t remember who he is.
She was sick and tired of what was going on in her life. Every single word Bella told her the previous day kept ringing in her mind, especially the part where she mentioned she was forgetting the most important things in her life.
What are those important things?
Bella phoned her that she should hurry up to the shop since they were both going to the hospital for her brain test. She was staring at her drugs on the lamp stand beside her bed, there were about three of them and she always gets so weak to take them.
“I wish all these are over, and I won’t have to bother about taking you guys.” She said to the drugs. “You can’t talk, yeah, I know that.” She blew the strands of her hand with her mouth. “Fu*k life.” She cursed.
She poured each tablet in her hand, heading to the kitchen for a glass of water. She dropped all in her mouth, gulping it down with the full glass of water.
She showered, hurriedly dressing up to make it to the restaurant as soon as possible or Bella would assume she wasn’t being helpful to her health.
They got to the hospital. They sat on one of the chairs along the corridor, waiting for when their names would be called.
“How do you feel?” Bella asked.
“I feel great, thanks. What about you?” She asked back.
“Same here. Did you take your drugs this morning?”
Anastasia nodded her head.
“Are you sure about that?”
“I took my drugs.”
“Good. I guess you feel more than great today.”
“I don’t think the drugs make me feel great either, they make me sick. I feel great because I am great.” She said happily.
“Wow, I see. So tell me, what makes you feel so great this morning?” Bella asked.
“I had a dream, a sweet one.”
“Hmm.” She hummed. “Tell me about this dream.”
“It’s a brief and short dream, though. Well, there’s this guy I saw, he was holding my hands, and the way he was staring into my eyes like we’ve met before, like he knows some thing about me.”
“What’s his name?” She asked.
“I didn’t get to know his name.”
“What did he say in your dream, and what did you say?”
“I told him that he should go and gain an empire, I don’t really remember. I told him to come take me home after that, and he promised to do so. He also promised me that I shouldn’t fall in love with another man until he comes back. What if it’s Jayden but in a different appearance? It’s been two days since we met each other, don’t you think it’s him?”
Bella sighed, smiling warmly at her. “It’s not Jayden in your dream, Ana, it’s him.”
“Who?” She asked.
“You remember Pablo, the one I told you about at the hospital?” She reminded.
“Yes? The guy you said was my boyfriend?” She said, almost like a question.
“That’s the man you saw in your dream. That’s exactly what happened before the accident happened. You told him to go and claim his father’s empire, and you told him to come back for you.”
“I… I thought it was Jayden in my life. I always picture him to be the man of my dreams. He has always been there for me, he keeps making me feel happy and welcomed, not minding how damaged my brain is. I think… I think Mr Jayden loves me, and I love him too.”
