THE GOLDDIGGER 🔞
EPISODE NINETEEN (19). (SEMI-FINAL)
We had a quite moment for almost ten minutes.
I broke the silence,
“Dorcas I know it’s none of my business but
please who was that guy that just left”
She replied,
“Is that why you left your house to come and
ask me? Hardguy if you have nothing to say,
you can excuse yourself. It’s getting late and i
want to sleep”
I replied,
“Dorcas why you been so harsh on me”
She replied,
“did I hear you say harsh? I was the same
person you treated like a rag when I came to
your house. I wasn’t even angry that another girl
came while I was still around”
I replied,
“She was just a friend”
She looked at me for some seconds and said,
“That’s my problem with you. You always think
of defending yourself even when you are wrong”
I was silent I don’t know what to say anymore it
seems like I hurt her pretty bad.
I stood up from where I was sitting I walked up
to her on the bed. I tried holding her hands but
she pushed them away.
I looked into her eyes and said,
“I know that I hurt you a little that day”
she cuts in,
” a little? Guy you broke me into pieces. You
made me feel like I was nothing and you made
it known to me that I was just wasting my time
being by your side”
She started to sob. I wanted to console her but
she stopped me and continued,
“I don’t know where to start. Is it me been
jealous of seeing you around different girls or
seeing you giving more attention to other girls
who mean nothing to you even though I was
your friend”
She continued,
“I dated my last boyfriend just to take my mind
off you but it never worked and I know you think
because I gave you my body, am a loose girl but
let me tell you, you are the second guy that I
have slept with in my life. This was amongst
the reasons I broke up with my ex because I
refused to have s*ex with him”
Her last sentence touched me so bad. I never
knew I was such a bad person towards Dorcas.
I begged,
“Dorcas am really sorry I never knew I
was”Dorcas am really sorry I never knew I was
hurting you with my behaviors and attitude”
she replied,
“apologies accepted you can now leave my
house”
I was shocked so I asked,
“just like that. I haven’t said what brought me
here”
she smiled and said,
” Hardguy what do you want from me? I have
nothing to offer so please just leave”
I replied,
” I will leave but I have to tell you that I liked you
since we became friends but I never really
calmed down to understand what I felt for you”
She gave a look with an impression (this guy is
lying)
I continued,
“With all the things that has been happening
around me this days I got to understand that I
have just a small number of people who really
cared about me and you are one of them.
She asked,
“are you done?”
I replied,
“I know to ask you to be my girlfriend will be
very selfish of me but I want you to understand
that all my life I haven’t been in any relationship
because I was scared of the outcome.
She replied,
“Well I think you should remain scared of it. It is
not as good as it seems”
I replied,
“I would love if we could start with being friends
not friends with benefits these time but just
friends so that we could see where it goes”
Dorcas replied,
” I have heard all you said I will think about it
and get back to you when I have an answer. So
can you please leave I want to sleep and the
guy you saw was just a plumber who helped me
to fix a problem with my sink”
she stood up and opened the door. I reached the
door and said,
“goodnight Dorcas”
She didn’t respond. I decided to take a risk”
I walked closer to her, looked straight into her
eyes and closed and locked the door. I gave her
a kiss. She was surprised.
I broke the kiss after some minutes, waiting for
her to throw me out but she wrapped her hands
around my neck.I carried her to the bed and the
rest was history.😁
It was actually different from all my Pipping
because we did not have s*ex but we made
love.
The next morning Dorcas told me that we can
start by been friends. She also made it known to
me that Cynthia had already begged on my
behalf.
I left her house around 10am. I got home and
entered my the sitting room. I saw the shirt Chidi
wore last night and Cynthia’s short in the sitting
room.
The rest of the holidays was really nice. We all
hanged out together we had alot of fun.
Chidi wasn’t a graduate due to financial
problems but he was good at web development
and coding so I gave him my laptop to use prior
to when he will be able to get his.
He got international online jobs within two
weeks. He was paid been reasonable amount of
cash.
One of the companies invited him to Canada to
work with them but doesn’t have his papers.
The company promised to help him get his visa
and papers.
We were back to school. It was the last
semester. We were all busy with our project
writing.
I got a call from a strange number one morning.
It was Linda she called to tell me that I was
w*icked.She complained I ghosted her for two
months. I apologized but told her we can’t be
seeing each other anymore.
The semester was really fast and it was time for
examinations.
We were writing our forth paper and having just
two more to finish the exams when Ella alleged
that she caught Dorcas cheating during the
exams.
The schools rules states that if you are caught
cheating during examinations, you will be
expelled and won’t be able to register with
another university again.
Dorcas wasn’t a bright student but she can
never cheat. She was an average student who
does her best to pass all her papers.
I knew that it was a planned work to bring her
down but I was ready to fight with her.
I met Ella and told her that I know that she
planned to bring Dorcas down but I will never let
it happen.
Ella replied,
“She can’t have you. Infact no one can have you
aside me in this world”
I asked,
“so it was true you planned it”
She laughed devilishly and said,
“yes I did. I placed the exhibit in her answer
booklet. Hardy my baby it’s better you come
back to me to avoid making other people fall”
she chuckled and continued,
“my next target is Cynthia. I know she isn’t your
girlfriend but you love her so much. Meet me at
star hotel by 6pm tomorrow or she also fails her
exams and maybe get expelled also”
She laughed and walked out on meI warned her,
“You don’t mess with my loved ones and go
scot free just know that”
I went to check up on Dorcas. She had cried her
eyes out. I hugged her and said,
“don’t worry you will be fine”
she replied,
“hardguy I didn’t do it”
I replied,
“I know you didn’t do it and the people that did it
will face the consequences”
she replied,
“I don’t have time. I was invited by the senate to
come and defend my self tomorrow. I don’t
have evidence to show that it wasn’t me”
I replied,
“if they ask for evidence just call me”
she asked,
“what will you do”
I jokenly replied,
“what I do best according to you sleeping with
the HOD”
I laughed.
she replied,
“it’s not funny am serious this is my future”
I replied,
“it’s our future and I won’t allow anyone to spoil
it. So what did you eat”
she blushed and replied,
“I like the part you said our. I haven’t eaten. I
can’t eat anything I have lost my appetite”
I replied,
“then you should go and find it because you
have to eat”
I ordered food online for us we ate. I kept her
company till 10pm.
I got home and saw Cynthia and Chidi watching
a romantic movie. I told Cynthia what happened
she was very sad but I didn’t tell her she was the
next target because I don’t want to distract her.
She has a paper to write in the next two days.
The following day I followed Dorcas to meet the
senates. It was going well for Ella because she
showed what she saw and the Senate believed
her.
Dorcas was asked if she can defend herself.
She told the Senate all she knew and tried to
convince them that she was innocent.
She told the Senate she had a witness. I was
called upon to defend her.
When I entered the room, I saw Ella smiling I
said to my self,
“that smile will soon depart from your face”
I said to the Senate,
“If you check the writing in the booklet and that
of the exhibit you will notice that it’s not same”
They checked it and it wasn’t same.
Ella said,
“maybe someone wrote it for her and she
brought it in”
I smiled and asked,
“I guess you wrote it for her then”
The senates asked if I was implying that Ella
helped Dorcas.
I replied,
“not actually helping but she wanted to destroy
the young girls future”
The senates asked for prove.
I brought out my phone and played a recording
of what Ella told me when I confronted her
concerning Dorcas cheating during
examinations.
What will happen to Ella ??
They call me Hardguy for a reason.
