Emily had explained to her that, some people guide that mind to avoid being read by people and Cyrus was not excluded.
“You can call ruby to read my memory and her memory.”, Harley said.
“Ruby is your friend right? Why should we call your friend to do that? How do we know if she is telling the truth?”, One of the superior and everyone looked at Cyrus who was just silent throughout.
“Bring molly here.”, He instructed and some guards went to bring molly.
When molly cane out, everyone looked at her in disgust and irritation, she was really tortured, her face was disfigured and she was bleeding everywhere.
Only few people noticed that some of her fingers were caught off.
Harley became very scared, she wondered if they is what they would do to her if they find her guilty.
Molly was thrown on the face in front of the judges.
“Who among this two is working for Magnus?”, Cyrus asked and Molly looked at the two if them and said nothing.
Normally she was supposed to say ember because her mission was to make Cyrus love Harley and she can’t afford to say anything that will make Cyrus h@të Harley but she felt wronged by Magnus.
He had assured her that she wouldn’t her caught and even if she gets caught, he would rescue her but he didn’t fulfill any of his promises.
He just let her to die, so she has decided to ruin his plans too.
“Harley — she works for Magnus.”, She replied and everyone gasped.
“Her mission is to fool you and make sure you fall for her then she would betray you like Ariel did.”, She replied and Harley jaw just dropped.
She looked at Ember and she saw a smile stretch on her lips.
“They are both lying, I don’t know what they are talking about. Please believe me.”, Harley said on her knees.
“Let’s continue this tomorrow.”, Cyrus said.
“No … We should finish it today — right now. Ember has been with us for years and this didn’t happen but the moment this girl showed up, everything changed, even the way you behave towards her is different.”, One superior said.
“We have all the evidence that says the new lady is guilty and yet you still want to postpone this till tomorrow?”, Another said.
“This has never happened before.”, Another said.
“Are you questioning my authority?”, He asked and they all looked down.
“We are postponing this either you all like it or not.”, He said standing up.
“Whip her 50 and lock her up without giving her anything including water, no one is allowed to see her without my permission, till then I will decide on what to do with her.”, He said and Harley broke down in tears.
“50? How on earth will she even survive that?”, she thought.
“You should think twice because you mess with someone like me.”, Ember said and Harley slapped her angrily getting into any round of trouble.
Everyone looked at Cyrus waiting for his statement on what just happened and Cyrus just looked at Harley in disbelief.
“Why do you always get into trouble?”, he thought and Harley heard his thought.
