Harley finally broke the kiss to catch her breath.
She wondered why she hasn’t woken up from the dream yet.
“Don’t join Magnus please, I Know that I am not supposed to be like this but please don’t go to him.”, He said.
“Is this real?”, She muttered looking around trying to get herself.
“Does it look fake to you?”, He asked and then she realized that she had said that out.
“So you forgive me for those mean things I said?”, He asked bringing his face closer to hers as if he wanted to kiss her again.
“Yes … Hmm of course.”, She said staring at his lips again.
“What did you want to ask? I wasn’t in a good mood at that time.”, He explained and she just shuttered.
“It is really not important.”, She said.
She looked around nervously, she suddenly be shy.
“I like you Hailey but I think it’s best if we don’t date yet.”, He said and Harley became sad and happy.
“I still need to confirm my feelings.”, He said and she nodded not taking her gaze from the ground.
“I just need time to think things through.”, He said and she only nodded.
“I understand.”, She said.
“Thank you.”, He said hugging her and when she touched his back, he winced a bit.
“Can I see your back?”, She asked.
“No — there is no need for that.”, He said and she nodded.
He reluntanly took off his shirt and turned, he didn’t want her to know but that st*pid Magnus had to spoil his plan.
“So that explains why I didn’t feel pain.”, She said as she touched it.
“It would later heal but I don’t know why it is taking longer than normal to heal.”, He explained.
“Why did you do it?”, She asked sadly and he chuckled and that was the first time Cyrus smiled after so many years.
“Why did I do it? If I didn’t do it, you would probably be dead.”, He said and Harley was still feeling bad.
“Let’s not talk about it.”, He said.
“Why are you usually in pain? The mark changes colour, is it because of me?”, She asked and he just stared at her.
“Have you always been this curious about me?”
“There are many questions I have but I can’t ask.”, She said but he didn’t say anything.
“That happens whenever I get angry and I’m able to do something stupid, I am being warned so that I won’t commit another sin that will cost my my entire life.”, He said leaving her more confused.
“Magnus, won’t he hurt the people outside? He comes in without your permission.”, She said.
“He can’t hurt anyone in the academy, his power is useless and we can’t hurt him in the academy too, this academy is sacred. I know whenever he is coming because I am quite sensitive and I’m used to his scent. Sometimes he foolishly leaks out information.”, He said.
“Do you really mean what you said you said that you wouldn’t leave me?”, He asked and she nodded.
“What if you find out terrible things about me?”, He asked.
“I have heard more terrible things about you but that didn’t stop me.”, She replied.
“You can leave now, I just wanted to apologise to you.”, He said and Harley just raised her brows.
“That’s it? That’s just it?”, She said in her mind disappointed.
“I will be leaving.”, She said and he nodded.
“Do you need help finding the door?”, He asked and she rolled her eyes.
“I will be leaving now.”, She said again.
“What do you want?”, He asked folding his hand across his chest.
“Nothing, I will just leave now.”, She said as she quickly ran away.
“What’s wrong with her? She’s acting like a child.”, He said and smiled.

Harley wouldn’t stop touching her lips and smiling as she walked towards her dorm.
She was still unable to process the fact that he admitted that he likes her.
Immediately she entered the dorm, Emily and ruby looked at her curiously.
They didn’t say a word but her faces said it all.
“Did Magnus leave already?”, She asked and they both nodded quickly.
“Why are you two looking at me like that?”, She said as she climbed the bunk and they followed her.
“Are you two dating already?”, They asked with a creepy smile and Harley tried to hide her smile.
“Why would you think so? We are not dating yet.”, She replied.
“Oh you are not dating yet, that “yet” means so much.”, Ruby said teasing Harley.
“Did he finally confess his feelings? What did he say?”, Emily said.
“He just said that he likes me but he needs more time to understand himself.”, She said and they teased her.
“Oh you are blushing!”, Emily pointed out.
“I’m not, please just go to your bed.”, Harley said but they didn’t stop disturbing her.

***Training ground***
Cyrus stared at Alex and hoped that he wasn’t betraying him, he wouldn’t even know what he would do if Alex should betray him.
He didn’t want to think that Alex has been working for the enemy, so he just push their thoughts away.
Alex has been with him through thick and think and has always supported, it would be unfair to think he would betray him.
How Magnus knew what had happened still puzzled him but he was going to get the truth no matter what.
His eyes looked for Harley and it landed on her. After their conversation yesterday, he just realized how much he likes her.
His expression changed when he saw a male beside her, it looked like they were into a serious conversation.
Though she had her friend ruby and one more person but Cyrus was more focused on the boy.
She seem more comfortable with the guy, she would ruffle his hair and hit him after laughing.
Harley’s eyes met Cyrus’ and he was shooting deadly glares at them.
She flinched seeing his face, his face was scary that it even scared her for a moment. He looked like he was going to punch Liam anytime soon.
“How can he still be so free with her? Doesn’t he know that I like her? Wait this isn’t jealousy right? of course I can’t be Jealous.”, he thought and Harley heard and she chuckled.
Ruby, Emily and Liam just looked at her wondering if she was okay.
“Are you sure you are okay?”, Liam asked as he stretched his hand to feel her temperature and suddenly his hand hung in the air, he couldn’t move it or bring it down.
“Guys — I can’t bring my hand down, I think I am getting paralyzed.”, Liam said scared.
“Nice job Cyrus, this would teach him a lesson.”, Harley heard again and she just burst into laughter.
She looked at him and he looked at her innocently.
“His mind is really dangerous, he looks innocent on the outside.”, She muttered.
“Please help me , I can’t move my hand, what should I do.”, Liam said scared and ruby tried helping but it was no use.
“Are you happy that your friend is getting paralyzed?”, Liam asked seeing the smile on Harley’s face, she looked very happy.
“Hmm yes — I mean no … Of course not.”, She said smiling more at the thought that Cyrus was jealous.
“Ever since that conversation, you have been acting weird lately. Maybe you need medical attention.”, Emily suggested and ruby agreed.
“I know what I need.”, She said blushing.
“Can you stop thinking about your boyfriend and focus on my hand, I am really going to cry.”, Liam said.
“Maybe someone is punishing you, I don’t know but there’s nothing I can do.”, She said as he patted his back.
“Do you think she okay?”, Ruby whispered to Emily.
“Of course I don’t think she is.”, Emily whispered back.
