sat on my desk, Duff seat is quite beside mine while Sonya seat is infront of us.
I took my note and start glancing while
miss Helena bounced in everybody kept quiet
and stood up to greet her chorusly.
“Morning everyone, how are you all doing?”
” Fine ma” we responded chorusly.
” Sit down. I hope am not in the wrong place I
want everybody’s patronage and love. Are
you with me?”
” Yes ma” we responded while she
boomed with smiles.
I sighted her genuinely from my planet angle near the window.
” Hey…that fair boy stand up” Pointing at my direction. I stood up with glasses on my face
everybody sighting my direction.
” What is your name?”
” I’m Eugene Douglas by
name, Ma”
” Okay you may sit down”
” Okay ma”
” In our Biology class today. . .”
” Eugene , What was the
meaning of that, why is she asking your name ?” Duff susurrate
” I don’t know man”
” don’t rustle the class” miss Helena interfered pointing to our
direction.
“our topic today is ‘Pollination’.
” I hope this word might not sound
strange to you. You might have heard it before. I want someone to try and tell us what is pollination in Biology.” Miss Helena said.
Some people start glancing at me.
I stood up “Pollination is the transfer of pollen from anthers to stigma”
” Very correct, class give him an applaud”
Everybody begin to clap with smiles.
Sonya and Dolly pouring out smiles.
” Cross pollination is the transfer of pollen from the anthers of one flower to the stigma of another flower of the same species. In some species self-pollination occurs either regularly, as in the ground-nut, or when Cross-pollination has failed to take
place.”
” Do you get me class” Miss Helena said.
” Yes ma” we chorused.
” I will transfer note to you people in our next
class”
” Enjoy your day all”.
Immediately I heard my name.
“Eugene , see me in my
office”
” Alright ma” Miss Helen said and left the class.
Sonya stared at me passionately.
” Lemme attend to miss Helena she needs my attention” i said to Sonya.
Immediately Dolly came and sat with Duff. Dolly is seem they act funny anywhere. I left
the class to miss Helen
office.
” Hello ma”
” Hello, you said your name is Eugene Douglas right?” She asked.
” Yes ma’am” I replied.
” Have a seat” I sat down many things
running through my psyche .
” You are a brilliant boy and I would love you to be close to me. I love brilliant students” she added.
” Alright ma” I said.
” Who is your girlfriend in this school?” she
asked on a romantic tuned.
” why do you ask, ma” i necessitate.
” am not trying to scare you or something”
” But ma. . . ” she interrupted.
” Do you have any in this school?” She paid
engross look.
” I don’t have any” I gaze at her .
” Nice you can go.” I left her office flurried.
I sat on my seat thinking about miss Helena question still don’t get why she inquired.

Sonya saw my mood and decide walking to me.
” Eugene , what is it?” she said.
” Nothing”
” But since you came out from miss Helena
office your mood changed talk to me”
” It just nothing I choose this way” She felt disappointed.
I heard the bell sounded for break time I stood.
I sat outside on a small desk near the school
canteen.
I felt a tap on my right shoulder I speedily turned.
