“I know but am safe now. Thanks to you coming to find me. Am safe and am here with you. So just let her be. I didn’t tell you before so your friendship wouldn’t be ruin. I don’t want to be the cause of your friendship being ruined so please, just let it go”Isobel implored.
“Fine then. I will let it go since you say so but promise me that if Melissa should do something that will cause you harm you should tell me immediately” He said and she nodded giving him a bright smile.
“Are you still up for the outing? I know you said that because of Melissa and….”
“Am still up for it. I would like to explore the island of love with you and I will also like to get to know more about you. You once said we’ve met before. Tell me about it”She urged even as she got into the car the chauffeur was holding open for her while he followed suit.
They ordered the car to stop in front of the market and began their journey on foot. Though Isobel had been to the market a couple of times. She certainly made it look like it’s her first. Smiling and wanting to try every little thing..
It made Oliver remember how she was a year ago. She was always carefree and happy. That happiness had radiated his life then and it still did now though she hardly smiles now and it’s all thanks to Marco.
He had to get rid of him as soon as possible. Isobel safety and happiness depends on it. He thought as his reverie was broken by Isobel who kept calling him.
“Let’s try this place out”She said as she ran back to where he was to pull him.

“Isn’t he a lovely man?”A lady beside Isobel said.
“Of course. I heard that he bought this island almost a year ago and made it what it is today. He made this market place for everyone and even got others job and also sent some of the senior kids to college. He is a wonderful man and if I had a daughter I would have married her off to him”Another lady said.
Isobel already knew who they were talking about even as she turned to see Oliver amongst the elders in the market place. He was being given something which he ate and gave them a thumbs up while they all laughed.
He truly is a wonderful man. He had helped her and haven’t even asked for anything in return. She had come across men who wanted something from her in exchange for them helping her.
Oliver isn’t one of them and that’s why she wouldn’t believe anything Melissa tells her about him. She had asked him to go out with her just so she could quiz him about his life but now she didn’t want to know. If he wants to tell her someday. She will listen then but as of now. She just wants to enjoy her time with him.
Putting down the sun hat she was checking out. She ran towards the crowd to join in the conversation.

“Where are we going Oliver? My legs are killing me”Isobel said from behind even as they both walked towards a hill top.
“Trust me it will be worth it once you get to see this place”Oliver told her as he went back to pull her by her hands.
“It better be”She said breathlessly.
“Its so beautiful”Isobel said a while later as they stood on the same hill they had been on a year ago.
“Do you like it?”Oliver asked
“Like! I love it” Isobel said as she gazed down at the valley whose flower formed a big heart shape.
This had been the same look on her face when he first brought her here a year ago but she doesn’t seem to remember.
“I should take a picture “She said as she turned to him excitedly.
“You already took a picture “Oliver replied .
“When? Are you dreaming or……”
“You took it a year ago with me”He said stunning her into silence.
“Really? I don’t remember”She returned gently.
“That’s because you choose to forget. For a year you left Isobel. You left this island without saying a thing to me and while have been trying to look for you for a year. You forgot everything that has to do with me”Oliver said again
“Oliver I….”
“You once asked me how we met. We met here Isobel. I was sad and alone and suddenly you came into my life. Showering it with your joy and laughter only for you to leave again. I never got to say this to you back then but this time I will” Oliver said while Isobel desperately waited for what he had to say.
“I love you. Have love you since a year ago and I still do”He said as he walked the few distance that separate them to pull her into his arms even as his mouth crashed down on hers.
