Maya was alone at home after Ethan for work, she was in the living room watching a movie trying to keep herself busy.
“It’s bored here” She murmured and lay down on the couch. “Ethan i wished you would come back earlier today” She thought.
She was lost in thought when the door bell rang, it distracted her thoughts. She rushed to the door thinking it was Ethan, she was shocked when she opened the door and saw a female standing.
She was dressing nicely. Maya smiled and greeted her, the young lady replied wirh a smile.
“Who are you?'” Maya asked, calmly.
“I’m doctor Lillian actually Mr Ethan asked me to come here and check on you” She replied.
“I don’t understand! Check on me? Like how?'” Maya stammered confused on what she was saying.
“Actually he told me that you are sick” She replied. “Oh..” Maya muttered.
“I told him that am getting better and he got me a doctor. This man won’t stop amusing me” She thought and smiled at the doctor.
“Uhmm! Please come in” Maya said, she opened the door for her, she walked in and immediately her phone rang. She hurriedly picked up the phone it’s her boyfriend calling.
“Hey babe..” Ethan muttered. “Hi sweetie..” She responds to him over the phone.
“How are you doing?'” He asked, clicking on the laptop in his front. “Am good tho.” She replied with a weak sigh.
“Com’on Maya i will be back soon. I sent a doctor to you. Is she there?'” He rushed his words.
“Yes babe.. I told you that am getting better and you got a doctor” She mumbled, turning to the other side. She didn’t want Lillian to hear what’s she saying. “Uhmm! Com’on am doing it for your good okay” He replied.
“Okay. I can’t wait to see you. It’s bored here” She mumbled. “I know sweetheart. I will be back soon. Okay”
“Okay. I love you” She responded. “I love you too” He replied and hang up.
Doctor Lillian waited for her patiently until she finished with her calls, she sat on the couch. Lillian checked her and told her that she needs to rest and not to stress herself.
“I have been resting for the past 5 days now. When will i get back to work?” She voiced out.
“You will be back to your work soon. For now you need rest” She replied. “Okay. I hope no medicines?” Maya said, the doctor smiled at her and shook her head.
“Alright thank you” Maya thanked her, she left. She became lonely again, she continued watching the movie.
HOURS PASSED.
On his way home he branched to the mall to get her dress. He made sure he got her a lot of stuff and bags as if she would be staying with him forever. He made the payment and took the three shopping bags filled with clothes, designer bags and shoes.
He drove out of the mall and headed to his house. He stopped by and bought some food from the restaurant.
He came back and found her laying on the couch, he dropped the stuff the floor and rushed to her, he noticed that she was sleeping. He went further to check her body temperature. She is okay.
He carried her in a bridal style to his bedroom, he laid her down on his king size bed. He smiled and watched her, he stuck the hair behind her ear and kissed her before leaving the room.
He went back to the living room and carried the shopping bags, he went back to her and dropped it. He went back to his car and picked up his phone and files. He took the stuff to his room, he arranged them carefully because he didn’t want to wake her up.
He finished with it and make use of the bathroom, he had quick shower and came out with a towel on his waists. He dried his body and applied the body lotion and wore his clothes. He left for Maya’s room.
He arrived there, he grabbed the shopping bags and brought out the stuff he bought, he took them to the wardrobe and arranged them carefully. He stared at the expensive bags he had on his both hands and smiled.
“You deserved it” He said with a smile.
Ten minutes later, He remembered that he bought food from the restaurant while coming back. But he isn’t going to eat without Maya.
While waiting for Maya to wake up, he use that opportunity to prepare a home made meal.
Henderson got a call that Princess Lucy arrived at the airport, he sent the royal guards and bodyguards to go to the airport and bring her to the palace.
Amelia on the hand wasn’t happy that Lucy is coming to the palace, she sees it as another form of distraction, since Saanvi haven’t said any hurtful words to her. And now someone else is coming.
Henderson walked in and met in deep thought, her right hand on her jaw. He moved to her and gave her a kiss.
“What’s the matter?” He asked, concerned. She shook her head negatively, Henderson chuckled softly. “You know that i can’t take that as an answer” He said, softly. She glanced at him once more.
“Where’s she?” She asked, ignoring his own question. He sighed softly. “She at the airport, the guards are already on there way to the airport” He replied.
“Now tell me why you’ve lost in thought, you didn’t notice when i walked in” He said and sat beside her.
“I was thinking about the princess Lucy. I don’t want anyone to come in between us. Saanvi is calm now, though we don’t talk to each other…” She muttered.
He smiled at her and stood up. She didn’t stop glaring at him, he knelt before her and took her soft hands, she try to protest but he shut her up, placing his index finger on her lips.
“Princess Amelia Raymond am saying this over and over again. You’re the one i love. You’re the only one my heart beat for you. I promise you that no woman will take your place in my heart and my kingdom. It’s promise” He muttered, she tear up. He use his thumb finger and wiped her tears.
“Am sorry we have to go through this, it won’t last for long” Henderson assured her. She nods like a child. He was in that spot until she asked him to stand up, before anyone comes in. He stood up.
“Are you scared?” He asked.
“Yeah. What if someone comes in and sees you kneeing before me what will they think.?” She questioned, staring at him.
What if they go about gossiping about us?” She asked again. He chuckled. “There’s nothing wrong besides we’re lovers. And no one will come in here without knocking on the door” He cleared her.
“What would you like to eat for lunch?” He asked. “Anything” She responded. “Uhmm i will tell the maids to get you something”
“What about you? Do you want to leave?” She asked with a fixed gaze. He shook his head negatively…
“Nah! Am here with you” He replied with a smile. “Com’on smile for me..” He said, just to make her happy. She gave him her best smile.
“I love you” He muttered and picked up his phone, he called the maid. Some minutes later two maids came to his room with trays of food, it was kept on the table and left…
He uncovered the bowl of soup. “You will like it” He said as he inhale the delicious aroma from the soup.
“Feed me” She said, more like a command. He obeyed and fed her, she always fed him. The sweet were on until a call come to his phone, he used the napkin and wiped his mouth, he stretched out his hands for his phone. Amelia frowned as he picked up his phone.
