Before a scream could escape hani’s mouth, Ian had swerved his sword up and block his duo from reaching her.
Xander gritted his teeth seeing that he was not dying yet.
He got upset and started to swerve his sword carelessly and Ian got on his feet, challenging him back.
They both got into a serious fight and Xander was the one dwindling.
Hani got up on her feet and started to stare at them with an astonished look. She couldn’t believe Ian could still get up to fight after being stabbed behind.
Soon, Ian threw Xander Sword to a corner in the grass and he gasped.
” Ian” He said, stepping back a bit as he looked at him carefully.
” Why did you?” Ian asked, heaving heavily from his fast breath as he slowly took some step forward after him.
Xander let out a light sigh.
” You didn’t…d..die.” He started, glaring at him for a few minutes before turning around, running as fast as he could.
Ian didn’t chase him. He stood there, watching him until he was finally out of sight.
Hani left her spot and slowly walked forward, with her hands behind her back.
She kept staring at his broad back where he was stabbed and her curious eyes went even wider.
” Ian” Her tiny voice sounded. ” A…are you alright?. Did he stab you that hard?” She asked, swallowing in hardly.
Ian slowly looked down at his belly and saw the penetration of the knife, with blood spurting out of it.
He started to move towards the fountain in the field quickly and hani ran behind him.
She got to his front and saw him untying his robe in a haste.
” Why did you let the Prince go scot free?!” She questioned.
” What were you expecting me to do?. Kill him?” He asked.
” But he almost killed you. He got me scared, I thought you’d die” She said, her lips moving into a little pout.
Ian sighed without saying a word. Hani could guess that he was really upset.
” What do you want to do?” She asked, peeking a glance at the spot that had been stabbed.
” I’m going to rinse off myself” He whispered.
He started to pull off his robe and his sëxy, smooth chest came in view.
” Ohh” Hani palmed her eyes and turned around, backing him. ” I’m sorry, I..I..didn’t see anything. I’m sorry” She spoke behind the palm in her face.
” You don’t need to apologise when you’ve gotten a view already.” He teased and her cheeks secretly went hot.
He crawled into the fountain and soaked himself in the water. He threw his head away, staring at the sky.
” Ian. Why was the Prince attacking you?” She asked, still backing him but her hands were off her face.
” I still have no idea. I knew he was with a bad aura the moment he came to me” He said, his thick brows creasing up.
” The princess h@të us, now the Prince also. Nothing gets any better in here” She sighed.
Ian looked at the place he was stabbed and he realised something. His wound was rapidly closing up on its own.
It was happening again, one of the signs that showed him he wasn’t normal like everyone else.
He sighed and stood up from the water, going out of it quickly.
He was about to wear back his robe but something made him look at hani.
” Hani” He called.
” Mn?”
” You can turn around. I can’t wear my robe cos my pajamas bottom is kinda wet” He said.
” Do I really need to look at you?. It’s against the King’s rule too, right?.” She asked.
” You can’t possibly walk eyes closed so just open your eyes” He said and she chuckled.
She slowly turn around and her eyes first glanced at his body.
This was the first time she was seeing a guy’s chest bare in front of her and she started to feel uncomfortable.
They both started to move out of the field together, one would think they were couples.
” Where’s the wound?. You didn’t get stabbed?. How did the blood come about?” She asked repeatedly and anxiously.
” I have no idea how it all happened. But don’t worry, I’m fine”
” Really?” She looked at him.
” Yea, I’m sincere. I’m very fine.” He said and her brow creased in confusion but she didn’t ask any further question.
She halted and faced him and Ian turned to look at her.
” Um…I..I..think I should retire to my camp now” She said
” Yea. I think you should. It’s pretty late now.” He said and hani turned around to leave.
Ian watched her back slowly as she shyly strolled away but she stopped and turned to look at him
As if he knew what she wanted, he opened up his arms for her.
She ran back to him.
” Goodnight!” She said, leaning on her toes before kissing his side cheek softly.
Ian smirked and when he raised his head, she had ran away quickly.
He slowly turned to look at the palace and his eyes went towards the window belonging to the prince.
A feeling of h@të flashed through him immediately.
” I’m not going to report this to the royals, I’m going to deal with you myself later” He said and left the place as well.

Xander couldn’t stop going to and fro in his room. He would walk restlessly down the room and back again.
” If he can’t die then I’d i have to find how to kill him as soon as possible. No one should also find out about the news that I wanted to kill him.” He scoffed.
He sat down and began to think of the next option and luckily, the door got opened.
Queen Lisa walked into his room and he jumped to his feet quickly.
” Are you okay?” She asked.
” Good, thank God you’re here. You have to help me” He said and made her seat on his couch forcefully.
Lisa was so surprised cos she had never seen her son this restless and desperate before.
Xander palmed the table and grinned at her.
” Mom, You have to answer this questionso briefly. Is it possible for a crown Prince to die?” He asked and her brow rose up indifferently.
” What kind of question is that?” She scoffed
” Just respond, It’s a stupid question but I want you to give me creditable answers” He said.
The Queen sighed before looking at him.
” They do. Not until you are gifted” She said and Xander pinched his eyes close before opening them up to stare at her.
” Does that mean nothing can kill a crown Prince?” He continues to ask
” Why are you asking this?. Are you trying to commit a sucide or what??” Lisa spat.
“Just give me answers!!” He spat.
” Well Yes, A crown prince can die only if his fated mate struck him in his chest” The Queen said.
” His mate?. Something like…spouse?.”
” Definitely.” She nodded
Xander rubbed his chin thoughtfully and remembered he met Ian and Hani together.
He didn’t know if they were couples yet but his mind technically shipped them together.
He sat back on his sofa and smirked lightly, his fingers tapping the edge of the sofa.
” It’s seems like someone would be force to kill his friend soon. I don’t really care this time.” His thought grinned devilishly.

Hani pushed the door and got into the room to find salome already by the mattress, patiently waiting for her.
” Where have you been?” Salome asked, sitting up quickly.
” I was just outside” Hani replied and fell on the mattress tiredly.
” I’m sure you’re tired, I kept extra food for you” She said and brought out a small cubical plate.
” Awwn. Thank you!” Hani smiled and picked up her spoon to begin eating.
She was about to dig in her first spoon when the front door got opened and Vivian started to walk in with a tray with her.
Hani dropped the plate and stood up.
” Mistress, Evening” She greeted.
” Where have you been, Hani?” Vivian asked.
” I was at the field ” She said and Vivian quickly understood where she was driving at.
” I brought some meal for you. Here’s it” She said and hani quickly took the tray from her.
” Thank you, Thank you so much” She nodded, bowing at each word.
Vivian stared at the food with Salome and a sharp glare was on her face.
Salome quickly covered the plate with a cloth.
” You don’t have to hide it. I have seen it already” Vivian said and salome sighed, taking the cloth away from the top.
” I’m sorry” She apologised.
” Why haven’t you finished your food?. What did I discuss about leftovers?” She asked.
” Um…I..I….” She got silent cos Vivian had hushed her and gave her a nonchalant glare again
” Take up the meal and eat it in my presence right now!!!” She ordered and salome swallowed hard.
” But… misress. Its…a leftover” She whispered.
” Do you want to die??. I said chew them in my presence!!” She ordered.
” It’s cold, Mistress” Salome said, shaking in so much fear
” Are you deaf?!. Or are you purposely going against my orders?” She asked.
Salome quickly took the food into the tip of her mouth before chewing it carefully.
Immediately, she stood up and ran into the toilet quickly, slamming the door really hard.
” Ahhhh!!” Her screan were loud enough through the door.
Hani stood up in fear.
” What just happened?” She asked.
” I knew it. I just knew it” Vivian smirked.
” That the food was….poisoned?” Hani asked.
” What else did you expect?” Vivian spat. ” You need to be careful around this girl, salome. Totally avoid her if you can, alright?”
” Alright” She nodded and watch Vivian leave through the door.
Hani gathered up her blanket and food and head to the balcony to go sleep there immediately.

Vivian suddenly turned to look at Ian with wide eyes that seem shocked.
” What do you mean the Prince attacked you last night?” She asked
” I’m literally serious right now, mom. He did it for no particular reason and even stabbed me here, but I was fine later on” He said.
Vivian slowly looked away as so many thought crossed her mind at that moment.
She turned to face him instantly.
” Ian. Did you disclose anything to anybody?” She asked.
” No. I didn’t”
” What about hani?. Did you tell her anything?”
” She only witnessed what happened last night and nothing more” He said.
Vivian sighed and palmed her face, feeling horrible as tears started falling off her cheeks.
” Mom?” Ian slowly looked at her but she continued to sob even harder.
” Mom?”
” I’ve told you!!, Stop titling my name as your mom!!!. Just stop it!!. Stop it!!, Ian!!. It pisses me off” She screamed at him.
” Cos you are my mom!!.” He yelled back.
She didn’t respond but stood up, packing up all her books before strolling out.
” Mom!. Aren’t you going to say anything?. Where are you going??. Hey, are you gonna continue keeping me in my own mystery!!
I’m eighteen now and I should know what’s going on in my life!!” He yelled but she didn’t stop to give a listening ear.

♡RIVER SIDE♡
Hani was walking to the river with the other girls and didn’t know when her lips was covered.
Her back landed on a concrete wall and she looked up to find Prince Xander standing there.
Her heart skipped at the sight of him.
” I’m not trying to hurt you. But I just need you to perform a favor for me” He said.
” I’m sorry, I…I… can’t” She said, shaking her heads sideways and he slapped her mightily.
” Ahh!” She gasped and held her cheeks in her trembling hands.
” If you don’t do what I say, I’m going to take off the innocence from below your two chubby legs and no one can stop me, Not even the king himself!” He spat
Hani started to sob but cooperated to hear what he has to say.
Salome stopped in her track and when she saw Xander with hani, she turned around and ran away in tears.
Xander returned to look at her.
” Now listen, I want you to stab Ian. Don’t worry, he wouldn’t die just like last night. He’ll be fine, I promise.”
” No, please. I..I..can’t possibly stab him. He’s my close friend” She cried.
” Have the knife!” He said. He forced the knife into her palm and she kept struggling with him.
Suddenly a strong arm dragged the Prince away from her by his collar and he threw him to the nearest wall.
Xander looked up and wasn’t surprised it was Ian.
” Ian. It’s you again” Xander chuckled.
” Nothing looks funny Xander. I don’t care if you’re a prince or not, but what you did last night will not just wash off like a breeze” He said and brought out his sharp sword.
” Now, Describe your Death!” He said and xander eye bursted from his socket.
