^^ KNIGHT HOTEL ~ HOURS BEFORE CLIFFORD AND SUSIE MEETING ^^
After getting the info she needs, Nina went to the sixth floor where the accounting team was.
She was there when she recognise someone, he had his back turn to her and was talking to one of his colleague.
Quickly, Nina pulled out her mirror to fix her hair. When it was done, she put on a bright smile and continue her journey.
“Stanley” Nina called and he turn to her.
“Look who’s here, if isn’t the queen of heartbreak” Stanley said jokingly.
“Is that how you greet when we haven’t seen each other in a long timeq?” Nina asked, frowning at him.
“Am sorry, let me give you a hug” Stanley said, pulling her into his arms, taking poor Nina by surprise.
“How’s everything going? Heard you were leaving for London to study for your masters” Stanley said.
“Have change my mind on that. I better just stay here and help with the hotel” Nina replied.
“Are you sure it’s just the hotel you are staying for or is it because of something else?” Stanley asked and a blush appeared on her cheeks.
She looked away from him,feeling a bit shy and hoping that he won’t notice her red cheeks.
“It’s not because of that. Am just staying back to help Clifford, you also did the same thing right? Anyway, I want to ask you something” Nina began.
“Fire away”
“The docvment your department brought to Clifford this morning, do you know anything about it?” Nina asked.
“Since we only sent one docvment to his office then that will be the accounts of the cleaning department. Any problem?”
“Do you know who brought in the docvment from the cleaning department? ” Nina asked and he gave a nod in return.
A while later, Nina was led into a private room where Kate was waiting.
“You are Kate, right?” Nina asked and Kate nodded.
“Am Nina Knight, I heard that you brought….”
“Did I do something wrong?” Kate asked, looking unedge.
“You didn’t, I just want to know if you took some certain docvment to the account department” Nina asked and she nodded.
“Then the letter in…”
“Did you see that ghastly letter? Thank God someone from the higher up saw it. It’s so stupid of her to think someone will read that and not be disgusted, I really….”
“I wasn’t disgusted when I read it” Nina said cutting her off.
“From the nasty things you just said, I can guess that you weren’t the one who wrote it” Nina added and once again, Kate gave a nod.
“Then who wrote it?” Nina demanded, getting Kate to spill the whole thing.
Nina left the room sometime later, a triumphant smile on her face as she dialed Clifford number.
“Have found your lover girl”

^^ PRESENT MOMENT ~ CLIFFORD OFFICE ^^
“Does it matter? What matter now is that I have gotten your confession and I think that we should go out on a date to get to know more about each other ” Clifford said and immediately, she pulled out of his arms.
“I…I think you’ve gotten it wrong, sir” Susie said, breathing heavily.
“What did I get wrong?” Clifford asked.
“Everything, Everything is all wrong” Susie said and ran out of the room, ignoring Nina who was calling after her.
“Did you scare her off?” Nina ask her brother as she went into his office.
“I didn’t, she only said that everything is wrong and then, she ran off” Clifford replied.

^^ BACK ON THE FIRST FLOOR ^^
“This is a big mess” Susie thought inwardly as she made it back to the cleaning department.
She was so deep in thought that she failed to notice Kate approach.
As soon as Kate got to Susie, she slap her hard on the face startling the other cleaners.
“Where the hell did you go to during working hours!” Kate yelled down at her, fully knowing where Susie went.
“I asked for permission before leaving” Susie replied.
“And so? If you ask for permission does it give you the right to leave? Do you know how many task we have daily and while others work their butts off, you go on and ask for permission to take a freaking break” Kate yelled.
“If you are so annoyed by me taking a break then I suggest you do your work too. You leave all the task to the junior staff and sit around filing your nails, aren’t you ashame of seeing your junior work while you laze around all day ” Susie asked, earning Kate’s anger.
“You’ve really gone far!” Kate scream, lifting her hand to strike Susie again but she didn’t get to do it since someone hit her head with a purse from behind.
“Who the hell….Miss Nina” Kate called, her anger disappearing.
“Were you going to hit her?” Nina asked
“O…of course not. I…I only wanted to pat her head” Kate lied.
“Then you don’t mind me patting yours too” Nina said as she used her purse to hit her hard on the head.
“That hurts!” Kate scream, holding onto her head.
“But I was only patting your head. Maybe I should do something else” Nina said,moving towards her.
“Am sorry!” Kate cried out.
“Wrong,You are saying sorry to the wrong person” Nina said, pulling Susie to her side.
“Apologise properly!” Nina yelled at Kate who immediately kneel on the floor, apologising to Susie.
“Is that good enough?” Nina asked Susie who shrug.
“It’s good enough” Susie replied, a smile tilting her lips.
“Come with me then and also, everyone else is off for today, let miss Katie complete your task” Nina said to the other maids who were happy with this news.

^^ HOTEL GARDEN ^^
“Why did you leave in a rush? My brother and I were worried” Nina said to Susie as they were both seated on a bench in the garden.
“Miss Knight I….”
“Feel free to call me Nina, you and I might end up getting close someday” Nina said taking hold of Susie hand but Susie pulled away.
“There’s something you need to know” Susie began.
“The letter wasn’t meant for Mr Knight, am in love with someone else ” Susie revealed.
“But…the letter was sent to my brother” Nina said, feeling shock by this revelation.
“It was and that’s all Kate doing but the letter isn’t meant for him, it’s for someone else” Susie said.
“This is crazy” Nina muttered, wondering how she will break the news to Clifford and her grandma.
Nina’s grandmother was waiting when she got back home.
“So? How did it go?” Crystal asked.
“Bad” Nina replied as she sat herself on the couch in the sitting room.
“What do you mean by bad?” Crystal asked again and Nina explained the whole thing to her.
“We will just have to tell Clifford the truth” Nina sighed out.
“Or we can keep it hidden” Crystal said, earning a confuse look from Nina.
“You said he smiled. My boy smiled for the first time and it’s all because of that girl letter, there’s no way am going to end it”
“What do you suggest we do ?” Nina asked.

“You say what?”
“My boss got the letter instead of Stanley” Susie told Martha.
“That’s crazy! What happen next?”
“The boss called for me asking me out on a date. Just the thought of going anywhere with him makes me…. uncomfortable”
“Is it because he’s very handsome?” Martha tease.
“There’s no doubt that Mr Knight is handsome but I still prefer Stanley” Susie replied, grinning like a fool.
“Joke apart, what will you do?”
“Nothing. Nina, Mr Knight younger sister promise to set things right. I only have to go to work and act like nothing ever happen ” Susie said and at that moment she got a call.
“Answer it” Martha said.
“This is Nina Knight. Am speaking to Susie Graham, right?” Nina ask down the line.
“You are”
“That’s good. Do you mind if we meet up tomorrow?” Nina asked.
“Er….”
“Don’t refuse me, I only want to talk to you ” Nina said quickly.
“Okay, where do we meet?”

^^ NEXT DAY ~ KNIGHT HOTEL ^^
Dress in her normal wear, Susie made way to the sixth floor, heading to a room.
She knock twice expecting whoever will open the door to be Nina but she was surprised to see three ladies in the room.
“Susie Graham?” One of them asked and Susie nodded.
Immediately, they pulled her in, sitting her on a chair while they began discussing styles and outfits.
“Can you please tell me what’s going on? Am meant to meet Miss Nina today” Susie said.
“And you will meet her but first, you must let us do our job” the lady in charge said.
The next one hour was spent on dressing Susie up.
Susie came out of the bathroom, feeling new.
Her hair was given a different style and she was dressed in a classy gown coupled with heels and bag which made her look stylish.
“Excellent. Now that our work is done, we better leave the rest to the guard ” The stylist said, signalling to her assistant to open the door.
Two men in black came in, asking Susie to follow them.
“Where are we going and where’s Miss Nina?” Susie asked.
“We are taking you to her, you don’t need to be scared ” one of them answered.
Susie let out a sigh as she thought of Stanley, this is the floor where he works, what if he sees her dress like this?
They got to the hall which led to the elevator when she saw Stanley.
He was talking to a man, not noticing Susie yet.
She try hiding in between the guards but it was futile.
“Is that you, Susie?” Stanley called and she counted to three silently before facing him.
“Hello sir” she greeted, wearing a big smile.
“You look mind….sorry, are you going somewhere?” Stanley asked.
“Yes, am actually going to see someone” Susie replied, starring at the floor since she felt shy.
“Don’t stay out long and also, it’s freezing outside, you will need a cover up” Stanley took off his jacket and put it around her.
“Thank you” Susie said shyly and left with the guard.
Stanley who watch her leave couldn’t help but to smile.

^^ PK RESTAURANT ^^
Nina drank her fifth glass of water while waiting for Susie to arrive.
When she saw her come into the restaurant, Nina shook off her anxiety and did her best to smile.
“Wow…you look so… beautiful” Nina compliment as they both took their seat.
“Am not used to this, it feels weird” Susie replied, still clutching Stanley jacket around her.
“I assure you that you will be used to it soon” Nina said as she wave the hovering waiter away.
“Why did you ask me to meet with you and what’s with this get up?” Susie asked.
“Well you see, I…I … Have been thinking of how to break it down to you but I can’t seem to think of anything so am going to tell it to you straight” Nina spoke quickly.
“The reason I asked you to see me is because I want you to go on a date with my brother”
“What!”
“I know it’s a shock for you but please, do me this favour and go out on a date with him and under no circvmstance must you let him know that the letter isn’t for him. Let him keep believing that it’s for him ”
“But….”
“Please Susie, it’s just a date. Go out with him and maybe, you might fall for him instead…. he’s here already, have got to leave” Nina hurriedly left the table.
Susie stood up too, wanting to follow her but she stop, when she saw Clifford coming towards her.
“We meet again” he said, his voice sounding soft and pleasing to the ear…..
