Rose and Robert walked up to Jake.
“Oh yeah, it’s seems you’ve met the new employee”
Jake said.
“Yes boss…
Rose replied.
“Well, don’t be rude to him like you did to others… Others didn’t want to work with you cos of your attitude”
Jake said and Jerry smile.
“Boss, am the victim here… They were being cold and harsh towards me, they even bullied me”
“Just make sure you two work out”
He pointed to rose and Jerry. “Or you will work here alone again”
Jake said and walk away.
“I guess someone is having a bad day already”
Jerry face Rose.
“Oh, do you want to bully me too? You can,, or you can just leave instead cos am used to being alone”
Rose said and walk away. Jerry quickly followed her and holds her hand.
“Am not leaving you alone”
He replied.
Rose remove her hand forcefully from his grip
“I guess you didn’t make friends that much in here”
Jerry added.
“Yeah, Maddie was my only friend before she died”
Rose said sadly.
“Maddie died??
Jerry lashes at her.
“Do you know Maddie?”
” No, no…
I was just surprised you had a friend and she died”
Rose smiles.
“Are you scared of becoming my friend?” You don’t have to be, we can just be acquittances”

Andrew breathe out tiredly on his office chair as John walked inside.
“There is alot of work today on my first day..
Andrew said and rub his forehead.
“Didn’t you told me today is going to be a stress free day for me?”
Yeah, I didn’t know all these were left unattended to when your dad closed Wells Fargo”
And I guess the workload will reduce with time…
John replied.
Andrew just nodded.
It seems everyone is begining to like the new you”
John said and look at everyone through the glass walls.
“What do you mean?
Andrew asked.
“Your employees known you for being rude and arrogant”

Maybe Rose did change you”
“Oh please, rose did nothing to me..
He said and scoffs.

John folded his arms.
“Am just myself, or maybe things actually changed but definitely not because of rose”

“She left just some days ago, I can’t start missing her already”

And about the restaurant you asked for, I found a place near your workplace just like how you want it”
There is a new branch of one of the famous bar in Los Angeles”

A knock came on the door.

John walks towards the door.
“Who is it?”
“It’s detective stones”
He said and Andrew sighs.

Please let him in”
“Alright, boss..
I will excuse you guys and get the car ready”
John bowed and walked out.. he looked at Det stones and gave him a killing look before walking away.
Det stones just ignore John’s stare before he walk inside.
“Det stones, so unusual to see you..
Andrew asked.
“What brought you here again? Am I getting arrested again? Am just asking to be sure”
“You know I can’t do that again unless I want to lose my job…
Filing a murder charge against the CEO of Wells Fargo is like am fighting against California”
Det stones said.

Det stones sat down and looked at Andrew.
“I have nothing to arrest you of, even though I have so wanted to arrest you so bad and put you behind bars”

Andrew burst into laughter.

Det stones replied.

“I don’t have much time, I have lunch in the next five minutes”
He stood up and pick up his phone from the table.
He began to walk towards the door.
Det stones chuckles.
“The agents from Morocco… What do you have to say about them? ”

Andrew suddenly stopped.

“What do you expect from someone that wants your arrest so bad? ”
Det stones replied.
“Of course.. I have my sources of info.

Andrew walked up to him.
“You were charged for Robert suntherland’s death, you escaped that..
Maddie’s death, you also escaped that..
“I gave up”
…And now, I can’t wait for Mr mark’s agency to press charges.. and we will see what am capable of”
“Wow… That looks like a threat, detective”
“It’s not…

“And a forseening future arrest”
Det stones replied.
“I guess they’ve found out about the fake SRS9 again
He thought and later smile.
“We had a deal, they dare not press charges”
“So, you are waiting for them to press charges on me?
Gosh, you are funny, detective..
Mr mark and his agency dare not cos they are aware of the consequences”
Andrew said.
“Can you leave my office now?”
“We will see about that…
Det stones replied and walk towards the door.
“And congrats on getting your assets back from your dad”
He added before walking away.
Andrew breathe out as soon as he left. “This detective will always be a pain on my neck…”

Andrew and John came out of the building with some of his men behind them.
The sun almost blinded him as soon he got out. John quickly brought out his sunglasses from the briefcase and hand it over to him.
Andrew put it on as he walks.
“Tell my men to stay back,
You and I will be fine alone”
“Yes boss..
John replied and raises two fingers up. He waved it and the men behind them immediately backed off.
They both entered the vehicle and immediately the driver ignite the engine before driving out of the compound.
John’s mind went back to what Rose told him.
“I pray she is safe…
He was already lost in thought for a second.
“Hey, are you okay?
Andrew jolt him out.
“Yeah, am fine…
John replied.
***Three minutes later*****
The car stopped in front of boathouse Eatery and Bar. Andrew and John quickly stepped down from the vehicle.
People around all draw their attention to Andrew and John.
??Wow, he eats at this restaurant?
??Am going to come here every single day..
??Gosh, his face glows so much under the sun ?.
“Boss, I think we are getting attention, let’s head inside quickly”
John said and they quickly walked in.
A waiter rushed to them.
“Follow me sir”
He said politely leading Andrew and John to an empty table.
They both sat down and looked around.
“I knew I could trust you in choosing a good restaurant near Wells Fargo”
Andrew said to John.
“Yeah, our restaurant is one of the best in California, we just opened a new branch here a week ago”
The waiter replied.
John’s eye caught rose attending to a customer.
She was wearing the same uniform vest the waiter was wearing.
He was shocked and he looked at Andrew.
“Boss, Rose works here”
He whispered and pointed to her.
Andrew looked at where he pointed.
“Isn’t that rose? ‘
“Yes she is…
John replied and face the waiter.
“Since when have that lady been working here? ”
He asked looking at rose.
The waiter looked back to see who it is and smile.
“Like I said, we just opened this branch, so she is an old employee who was being transferred here some days ago”
The waiter said.
“Please can I take your order? ”
“Yeah sure…
I will like the ramen Burrito with a ramen Burger”
What will you like boss?”
“Sushirrito with fish Tacos on top”
Andrew also said.
“Wow… It seems you two like one of the best Italian foods in California”
The waiter said.
“Can you just take our orders?
Andrew looked at her..
“Oh yeah.. am sorry..
Your order will be brought in the next three minutes”
The waiter said and walk away.
Andrew looked at John.
“So rose works here?
He scoffs.
“Boss, she works here before you met her…
And she has moved on”
John replied.
“She really did moved on”
Andrew said staring at rose with another male waiter.
John looked at rose again.
“Really?? Boss
What if they are just regular colleagues?”
“The way they look at each other doesn’t seems so”
Andrew replied.

“He is staring at me, cover me well”
Rose said to Jerry as he stands beside her.
“Who is staring at you?
You are in your workplace, or did you do anything wrong?”
“I didn’t do anything wrong, am just trying to avoid Andrew Williams”
Rose replied.
“What did you just say?
Andrew Williams? ”
Robert quickly looked back and saw him with his personal head of security, John. A waiter came and place foods on their table.
“Long time no see, Andrew”
He muttered staring dangerously at Andrew.
“Hey”
Rose waved her hands on Robert’s face.
“Oh am sorry, I was just staring at Andrew Williams”
“Really?
Do you know him?”
Rose asked.
“Pssst, What??
Hell no,
I mean I don’t know him personally but am his one true fan…
I admire him alot and am so happy seeing him up close eating in our Eatery”
Robert lied.
“It’s so obvious already..
Rose just nodded.
“Can’t believe there is someone that could admire Andrew, it’s looks irritating”
She thought.
“Yeah, one of the richest man in California is sitting right there”
Robert said. Rose just walk away.
Robert sighs in relief.
He looked at rose walking away and back at Andrew eating in peace.
“Enjoy for the mean time, Andrew Williams…
Am coming on top soon”
He muttered.
Andrew stare at him… He quickly took his eyes away.
He sighs and walk back to the kitchen.
His mind went back to Liam’s words.

He remembers his words and stares at Rose helping the chef.
