Rose sat down in the living room thinking of how she can gain entry into Andrew’s bedroom.
Mõ@ning sounds was heard all around the house.
Rose sighs and tried to think.
“All I need is just his fingerprints”
She muttered quietly.
“There is a reason he is keeping me here, he needs me for something else apart from acting as a fake wife”
She kept thinking of what Andrew’s plan is all about when one of Andrew’s men came in.
“I have a bad news, Mrs William”
He said and bowed a little.
“And now his men are showing respect again ”
She thought.
“And what’s that? ”
He cleared his throat.
“Tomorrow is Wednesday, the only day you are free to do wh@tëver you want and go out if you want to as instructed by my boss”
“So, how does that have to do with the bad news? ”
Rose asked.
” Cos Maddie, your friend is dead and we figure you might want to see her”
He replied.
Rose looked at him in shock.
“What?
Are you serious? My friend is dead? ”
“Yeah, her body was found in front of a old building, she was being stabbed to death according to the autopsy ”
He replied.
Rose wasted no time.. She stood up and rushed out of the living room.
” Wait, Mrs William, boss is definitely going to kill us if you leave”
” I need to see her now”
She shouted rushing out of the house.
” Mrs William, don’t let us do this the hard way ”
John said coming from nowhere, blocking her way to stop her from reaching the compound gate. All Andrew men surrounded her.
Rose noticed she might not run out of here easily, she quickly grab one of their gun.
” Stand back everyone…
She pointed the gun at them.
“My friend is gone and I need to confirm and see for myself.
Am sorry”
“Look, rose… Boss is going to kill us if he hears you are gone”
John said.
“He won’t notice, he is busy enjoying his time with another lady”
Rose replied as she walk slowly and a bit far distance away from them, before she took race to the large compound gate.
Andrew’s men ran after her. Rose also ran towards the gate.
In half a minute, she got to the gate and stopped to catch her breathe.
She holds the gate as she breathe out tiredly.
“No one move closer to me and if you think I can’t shoot a gun
Dare me ”
She said and ÇOçked the gun.
She opened the gate slowly and face John.
“I need some cash to take a cab, please ”
I will be back soon before Andrew noticed”
John sighs and threw some bundle of money at her.
” Thanks ”
She quickly walked out and threw the gun over the gate.
Some of Andrew’s men wanted to run after her again but John hold them back.
“Let her go”
John muttered.

“Well everyone thought she was killed by some unknown gunmen”
Liam said.
“I don’t think they will find a trace to us”
“That’s sorted then ”
And I have to be on my way now”
Olivia replied set to leave.
“Wait,
Liam stopped her.
Olivia face him.
“What? ”
“How many people do we have to kill to cover this secret?
I mean we literally just kill Rose’s best friend ”
” I don’t care who we kill, Liam… As long as our secret is protected ”
Olivia said and walk towards the door. A knock came in.
” Do we have to clear out that one again if he or she overhead our conversation just like Maddie?
Liam asked quietly.
“I don’t care,, for as long the person knows about it”
Olivia whispered to him and opened the door.
” Rose”
Olivia called in surprise.
Rose and Olivia are not in good terms, Rose don’t for one tiny bit like Olivia as a friend cos she is her crush’s boyfriend.
They were once friends not until rose asked for her help in getting Robert but Olivia had him instead.
She got jealous whenever she sees her but Olivia has been a cool lady to her, trying her best to keep things good between them, and claiming it not her fault Robert likes her and not Rose.
” What are you doing here in Liam’s home?
Rose asked surprised Olivia is here.
“I came for a visit..
And am sorry about your friend’s death, we heard the news”
Olivia replied.
“Yeah thanks…
She rolled her eyes and walk inside. Olivia watched her for a second before she leaves.
” I will gladly kill her and bring out her intestines if she gets to find out about our secret ”
Olivia thought as she walk to the garage.
“Maddie is dead?”
Rose asked facing Liam sitting on the couch. Liam sighs and stood up.
“Yeah, that’s what we heard” Just take things easy okay?
Don’t give yourself a High blood pressure”
“Is Maddie actually dead??
What are the cops doing right now?
“Maddie died and was stabbed by some unknown gunmen, the case already ended there”
The cops did no investigation further”
” What?
So the cops are not going to investigate? Maddie is gone just like that?
She was stabbed”
” Who knows maybe the same man who killed Robert could kill Maddie? ”
” What?
Are you saying Andrew William killed Maddie??
Did you find something in his house? ”
Liam asked.
Rose sighs and sat down.
” Am not certain about Andrew is involved in Maddie’s death but Robert, 90% certain he killed him.
I found a strange file in his office, he saved the file as my full name “Rose Walter”
“Obviously, he wanted you so he has been working to get you and he did.. maybe that’s why he saved the file as your name”
Liam said.
” You are actually right”
But why do I feel he wanted more from me?” Apart from me saving his asset and properties”
“And that’s left for you to figure out,, did you find anything else?”
“Still trying to break into his bedroom, but he encrypted it with a fingerprint”
She replied.
“Try everything to break in,
We have to find something, please… For Robert’s death”
“I will,,
I need to go see my parents before he finds am gone, I escaped out of his home”
Rose said and Liam seems confused.
” What are you talking about? ”
Liam asked.
“Andrew William make me sign a death contract ”
Rose said as she begin explanation.

A knock came on the door.
Mrs Walter stood up and walk towards the door.
” It’s me, mom”
Rose said from outside. Mrs Walter quickly opened the door.
” Rose?
Where have you been all this while?
Andrew William already said our debt are cleared and we are free to go”
But we couldn’t find you ever since then, it’s been a week now”
” Yeah, am aware of that and I can explain everything”
Can I come in?”
Rose asked.
“Come in, my daughter…

Rose walked in quietly as Andrew William sat down on the couch and put his legs across each other.
“Where are you coming from?”
Andrew asked with a fury of anger in her eyes.
“Am sorry I left that way,, I just have to because of the news of my friend’s death”
“I don’t care even if your parent died, you are not leaving this house,
Did you know what you have done to those innocent guys in the dark room?
My men? ”
” Why are you punishing your own men? ”
Rose asked.
” Because of you…
They let you leave this house without my consent so they have to get punished”
” Wait, let me get this straight..
You are punishing your own men because they let me out of your house?
Rose asked and began to laugh.
“I escaped, Andrew”
Andrew’s angry look came down a bit.

” It’s actually funny, Andrew…
I threatened them with a gun, do you expect them to lay down their life so I won’t be able to leave the house ”
Andrew stood up and put his hands in his pocket… He walked towards Rose slowly.
” I gave you a day for your freedom but you still chose to violate my rules some hours to your freedom day ”
” Look, Andrew,, I have to leave to check up on what’s going on??

And I even came back home” See? Did I run away?
“You are not leaving this house tomorrow, your freedom day tomorrow will be used to cover up for today ”
He replied and walk away.
Rose breathe a sigh of relief.
” Thank goodness, he was not as angry as the last time”

Andrew called again.
“Get ready, tomorrow
We are going to see my father,,, he wants to meet you officially ”
Rose nodded..
Suddenly, the cops barge in pointing guns everywhere.
Andrew came back from the stairs.
“What’s going on?”
Rose asked.
John came in seconds later,
“Boss, they entered the compound with full force”
“And you all can’t hold them off”
Andrew stares at them. They all pointed their guns at him.
“You are under arrest, Mr Andrew William for the murder of Madison Catherine”
“What?.
Rose was surprised.
” Oh gosh, not again…
Andrew sighs.
