IN THE CAR**
“Ken? By the way,,, what was that?” Cindy asked.
“What?” He asked, back.
“What you told that Damian then?? You said, you weren’t mentally stable and you needed to see the therapist this Tuesday. You also said you forget things easily?? What’s that about? It wasn’t too necessary to say a blunt lie like that” Cindy shook her head.
Ken scoffed.
“He thinks he’s wise. He never knew I’m wiser. I ain’t a lawyer for no cause” He said.
“Hold on. You said that for a reason? Why??” She asked.
“Listen,,, On Tuesday, the real trash guy will come to take out the trash. Damian might see him, and won’t ask questions. You wanna know why?” Ken asked.
Cindy only pinched her brows.
Ken smirked.
“Damian thinks the trash guy might have forgotten he came that monday to take out the trash…since I lied, saying I always forget things easily”
“Wow. Memory loss!” Cindy gushed.

“Thanks” Ariana took it.
“You wanna change now?” Damian asked, taking the cup of coffee from the table.
“Yeah” She nodded, and walked away.

Ariana kept looking around, checking for the vault.
At last, after few minutes, she saw a small door made with the highest and strongest element.
She saw the vault and a finger print scanner.
“Seen, Boss” She muttered.
“What are you doing there?” A voice asked, and Ariana gulped hard.
She turned quickly and laughed.
“Gosh. Did I miss my way? I was heading to the restroom. If you would excuse me, now” Ariana told Mary, before walking away.
“The restroom is that way” Mary pointed to the opposite direction.
Ariana gave a weird look, and quickly brought out a smile.
“Where was my mind? I forgot” She ran off.
“You’d better be fast. We aren’t done with the experiment!!” Mary hollered.
“Aiish! Like I know anything about the experiment. Like I’m even a scientist” She whispered, inwardly, in frustration.

“What’s wrong with her?” Tom came forward.
He saw a weak and pale looking Ariana resting her head on the table.
Damian could see the menstrual cramps wasn’t getting any better.
“She’s a bit sick” Damian answered.
“I hope she isn’t avoiding work cause of that” Mary chipped in.
“C’mon. She’s too feeble and sick to work. She isn’t avoiding anything… or are you, hunny?” Mrs Martha smiled.
Ariana only shook her head.
“Get well soon” Mrs Martha added and left. written by sommy pearl f.
“We have 2 hours to dismissal hour so just hold on, okay?” Damian said.
Ariana nodded.
Damian smiled, and wanted to stroke her head, but she quickly dodged it.
“What’s wrong?” He asked.
“I…just wanna be alone. Sorry” She muttered.
He nodded and walked away.
Ariana smiled.
“I really act so well. Everyone thinks I’m sick now. I had to avoid the experiment or wh@tëver it called” She thought.
“I just hope I come across the finger print owner soon” She said, to herself.
“Everyone, Who are you suspecting now?” Ariana asked.
“You heard them, right? Judging from the way they sound. Let just guess” She asked.
No one responded. They all ignored.
Ariana folded her lips, disappointedly. She guess what she said, was unnecessary and awkward.
“I think it’s Mary. Gosh, She’s too strict and a workaholic. She looks faithful. So, I guess it would be her” Rhoda suddenly said.
Ariana smiled.
“What if its Tom? He sounds stupid. They would wanna use his fingerprint since he isn’t really interested in pleasure” Oliver talked.
“And what if it’s Mrs Martha. She might be nice to Mrs Woods too, as she is to you, Jung Hee(Ariana). From there, Mrs Woods would trust Martha and ask her to keep watch over the vault, and then use her finger print” Cindy chipped in.
“And what if its Damian, himself. I just don’t like him. He looks corny” It was Ken speaking.
“Wait,,, What if it comes as a twist. What if it’s Jung Hee’s fingerprint?” Kev asked.
“Whoa…” Ariana shook her head.
“Boss,,, what do you think? What’s your opinion?” Rhoda asked.
There was a hostile silence. A really icy one.
“I think y’all should stop talking and let Ariana focus on spying around, properly. Who knows the slightest detail she just missed, just by hearing this useless chatter” Malcolm said.
“Ariana,,, Just be vigilant. Remember,,, Only 1 of the workers there, with you can open the vault” He added.
“And as for Jung Hee,,, we’ll keep checking on her” He completed, before lights out.
