Tessa’s snores were a bit low and Xavier couldn’t resist having a feel of his lips would feel on hers.
He leaned in while still gazing at her lips till he reached an inch closer to her face.
“You’re so beautiful” He muttered senselessly, admiring her as he kept leaning closer, slowly shutting his eyes as his lips finally met with hers.

“Why do I feel like something is weird” Nathan blurted out after they had just finished playing fire and ice in the game room. They were actually just coming out of the room.
“What’s weird? Enough with your stupid weirdness” Liam rolled his eyes as he descended the stairs.
Hayes came in beaming with smiles but it died down when he saw Xavier’s car parked in the garage, and he quickly alighted from his car.
“What’s Xavier’s car doing here?”
He was perplexed and called Adams.
“What is my brother’s car doing here Adams?”
“Um, sir.. I saw elder Xavier taking Tessa inside just not quite long ago. It seems they both went out together” Adams replied.
“Okay, go back to your work” He replied and Adams took off as Hayes went inside the house.
“Dad!” Liam exclaimed with full surprise and happiness when he saw him, and he was the first to jump on him, hugging him tightly.
“I’m getting suffocated here” Hayes said dramatically and he chuckled as he slowly came down from him.
Nathan kept smiling all through as he waved and greeted Hayes.
“How was work today dad?” He asked smartly and Hayes flashed him a smile.
“It went well and stressful as usual.”
“Uh, where’s Xavier and Tessa?” Hayes finally asked with his eyes searching the huge living room.
Liam and Nathan looked at themselves and back at their father.
“You mean Uncle Xavier?”
“We didn’t see him and Nanny Tessa too” Liam shrugged and Hayes ceased his brows.
“What do you both mean by that?”
Just when Nathan was about replying to him, a loud noise was heard from upstairs and Hayes’s eyes widened.
“T-tessa!”
He half yelled and ran upstairs with the boxes of new dresses in his hands together with the boys.

Tessa was already awake, but she was still struggling with Xavier who was bent on having her all to himself.
Her eyes fell on a glass cup on the lamp stand. She stylishly grabbed it and smashed it on his head but surprisingly, he only laughed out devilishly despite his now bleeding forehead.
“What has come over you Xavier! This isn’t you!” She cried out as he tried ripping off her clothes.
She actually woke up when she felt strange hands running her thighs.
“It’s still me! Y’all stupid for believing someone like me! I love you Tessa! Trust me I really love you. Just dump Hayes and come to me, I’ll give you all that you deserve” He blurted.
He held her captive in his arms and forced his way to kiss her lips again when the bedroom door bursted open revealing a fierce Hayes.
Xavier sense came back to normal instantly as he shifted backwards, away from Tessa with his eyes not leaving Hayes who was also glaring at him.
“Xavier?” He muttered with hurtfulness in his eyes. The same incident that happened few years ago was repeating itself again.
Is his brother always like this or what?
“I see that you came early. Too bad you weren’t eventually stopped on the way. Welcome back bro” Xavier smiled like an harmless cat and Hayes smirked h@tëfully.
That’s the main reason he never trusts his brother with anything in this world. He got even madder at himself for trusting him again.
Like flash, he nailed Xavier to the wall and grabbed his neck, trying to choke and squeeze like out of him.
“How dare you touch what’s mine?” He gritted, and Xavier only let out a crook smile.
Tessa was still shivering in fright when the boys came into the scene too. Liam’s eyes widened when he saw Tessa’s state and he rushed to her. Nathan just kept standing, staring surprisingly at how Hayes was holding Xavier with anger.
“Uncle Xavier?” He muttered, blinking his eyes.
“What did you do to her! Tell me what the Füçk did you do to Tessa?!” Hayes screamed at his face.
“Why don’t you ask her yourself.. her lips Füçking tastes sweet” Xavier smirked and without thinking this time, Hayes sent a blow to his face.
Xavier spat out spit and blood at same time as his cheeks reddened as a result of the punch.
Hayes’s eyes fell on Tessa who was still in tears, she was also looking at them.
Immediately his eyes read the emotions held up in hers, he became more angry that he instantly welcomed Xavier with two heavy punches again this time sending him to the floor.
Like it wasn’t enough, he raised his bloody face and body up and started dragging him out of the room.
“What’s daddy doing?”
Tessa didn’t responded as she ran after them.
“Hayes!” She tried stopping him but he remained adamant till they got downstairs.
He was punching him again but Tessa got in their middle and stopped him from going further.
“Why are you getting in the way! This @$$hOle needs to be taught a Füçking lesson! How dare he mess with my property!” Hayes yelled furiously and Xavier groaned in pains as blood oozed like flash out of every corners of his face.
“I only love Tessa. Why must you have everything that I want? Father’s and Mother’s love, you took the company all to yourself and now even the person I love! You’re Selfish!” Xavier yelled back and tears cane out from his eyes but though it was not visible because of the blood oozing.
“Calm down babe. I’m okay now, he didn’t harm me” Tessa whispered to Hayes, cupping his cheeks and he tore his gaze from his brother and stared down at her.
He gave an “Are you sure?” look and she nodded with a smile.
“Uncle Xavier are you a bad person?” Nathan asked innocently and Xavier grinned at him.
“The question you’re supposed to be asking is, how did he even get here kiddo” Liam uttered.
“Leave before I do something to you that might make you live your last day on earth! And never show your face anywhere near here!” Hayes yelled and Xavier smirked.
“This isn’t gonna be the last time we’ll meet Hayes” Xavier replied and started walking out of the mansion shamelessly with blood stains.
“Are you sure he didn’t touch you?.”
“No, he didn’t” Tessa gulped but when Hayes stared down at her lips he groaned angrily.
“What really happened?” He asked.
“What exactly happened Nanny Tessa? We didn’t even know when you arrived” Liam said.
Tessa explained everything from the beginning and how it ended and by the time she was done, Hayes was fuming with anger again.
He attempted to run after his brother again and maybe beat and kill him right now but Tessa was holding him back.
“Please don’t. It was all my fault for becoming his prey. I let myself and yiu down for going out with him. I trusted him too much” She sniffed, laying her head in his chest and he patted her.
“It wasn’t your fault. I know my brother, Xavier can never change and he just made my hatred for him grow more” Hayes muttered.
His mind flashed to the lady (Lydia) he met at the boutique but he quickly shoved away the thought aside as he pulled strands of Tessa’s hair.
Liam and Nathan looked at themselves for the second time and back at the two couples who were holding unto each other like airbags.
They weren’t even bothered about the boys presence. All what mattered that moment was that, they both in the right arms.

••EMERY’S LUXURIOUS HOME••
“Ahhh!!!”
Emery screamed for the umpteenth time, throwing a flower vessel on the nearest couch beside her.
“He Füçked up! He Füçking Füçked up!” She cried out, her eyes still staring wide at the message Xavier had just sent to her. His mission was aborted.
Madelyn was on a phone call with Kingsley coming out of her room when she heard her sister’s growls.
“Sis! What’s wrong?!” She rushed to her, trying to stop her from throwing the glass cup in her hand.
”Calm down!”
“Stay out this Madelyn! It’s none of your business!” Emery said with furry and Madelyn stepped back from her.
“What’s wrong with you these days sis? You’ve been acting weird! Was it because of your break up with Hayes? Are you still crazily in love with him?” Madelyn yelled back and Emery’s blood blood with great anger.
“Füçking shut up! You know nothing young girl!”
“Just admit it. You’re still in love with him. I see that he’s moving on so why can’t you just do the same? You aren’t the Emery I know before!”
“Ahh!!!” Emery screamed again, breaking the glass this time as she covered her both ears with her hands.
“Stay out of this Madelyn! I love Hayes and I’m gonna do wh@tëver it takes to get him back. I don’t care getting him sedated and bearing his unborn babies!”
Madelyn laughed hysterically at her words and Emery flashed a dangerous smirk at her which left her shrinking.
“Get him sedated? We both know you have to go through lots of people before you even see Hayes Flynn! He’s a classic rich billionaire! Even richer than us!” Madelyn argued.
“Shut up or I shut it for you!” Emery dared and Madelyn just stood there, glaring gard at her.
“I hope this stupid obsession of yours you call madness won’t kill you one day” Madelyn said and started walking to the entrance door.
Emery got angered by her words and within a blink on her eye, she pulled out a pair of scissors from behind her back pocket and rushed behind her speedily, throwing her hands in the air she sliced off Madelyn’s hair from behind.
“AHHH!!!!” Madelyn screamed in horror as she watched her hair being cut off and falling on her face and hands.
She slowly turned with tears and looked at Emery who wasn’t any remorseful.
“Watch what you say to me next time! I’m still your big sis and never forget that you still live under my roof! Now that I’ve cut a bit of your hair let’s see what gives you the audacity to speak trash at me or even face your fans” Emery smirked and chuckled as she catwalked away.
“I should have just stayed with mom in Korea than coming here to stay with you…”
Madelyn’s hands shook as she stared at the strands of her hair in her palms as tears started trickling down her cheeks.
