{ The Hidden Truth }
^^ AN HOUR EARLIER ^^
Tracy was waiting for Vance to show up since
she has sent him a text.
She was about giving up when she noticed Reed
and Lola heading to a shadowy path together.
Feeling curious, Tracy gently followed them and
what she made her filled with rage.
He’s been f^^king Lola while claiming he loves
her…she thought and left the scene before being
caught.
She was still fuming when she joined some
students playing truth and dare and amongst
them was Vance and Elsa.
By chance, the bottle happened to stop on her
and she found herself accepting a dare.
She stood up, catching a glimpse of Reed and
Lola returning after their rendezvous, she found
herself wanting hit him hard just like his lies
had made her feel and so, right in front of
everyone, she kissed Vance.
Elsa along with the others were startled by this
action of Tracy but Vance was more startled by
it since he didn’t expect her act this way.
He gently pulled her away and left the scene
with her.
“Why did you do that?”
“Cause I wanted to” Tracy replied.
“Something happened right? The Tracy I know
wouldn’t think of putting me in danger by
kissing me in front of everyone” Vance muttered
and that got her bursting in tears.
“Oh, Vance. Am sorry! I was so filled with rage
and wasn’t thinking. I shouldn’t have kissed you,
I…I saw Reed and Lola together and…” He didn’t
let her finish her words when he pulled her into
his arms.
“You must have seen them together? ” Vance
whispered while Tracy burst into tears in his
arms.
It took a while for her tears to subside and
slowly she pulled out of his arms.
“Don’t get me wrong. Am not crying because
he’s sleeping with Lola, I just feel so sad about
his lies and deceit ” she said hoping he will
understand her and he did.
“Have put you in an awkward situation right?
Everyone will think you to be a…”
“Let’s worry about that when the time comes,
you need to get some sleep” Vance intercept
and together they both went to the tent she
share with Elsa.
Reed was waiting for them when they got there.
“Can you f^^king tell me what’s going on
between you two? You aren’t really a…lesbian ?”
He asked starring at Tracy.
Tracy was about to speak when Vance took
hold of her hand.
“Why does she have to explain to you? What we
do is none of your business” Vance replied.
“Füçking stay out of this. Am talking to my
fiancee and I don’t want you to Füçking meddle
in it!”
“Sorry but I have a right to meddle in this since
Tracy is my now my girl” Vance stated angering
Reed.
“Sarah, why don’t you head back to your tent.
Let me a talk to him” Tracy said to Vance and
although he was a bit hesitant, he went off.
“Is that really true? Are you really messing
around with her?” Reed asked but Tracy gave
him a slap in return.
“That’s for all the lies you’ve been telling me.
How dare you lie to me when you’ve been
messing around with Lola” Tracy yelled.
“Did you perhaps see us?” Reed asked holding
onto his slapped cheek.
“Go to hell and leave me alone” Tracy replied
steely wanting to walk past him but he held
onto her hand.
“Tracy, am sorry. I just…what I have going on
with her isn’t serious. You are the girl I want, the
only one I ever love”
“You don’t love me Reed. You think you do but
you don’t cause if you truly love me, you would
have wanted me to be happy even if it’s not with
you. You would have let me be with your brother
but instead, you made things hard for us using
your love as an excuse but your love is just a
sham, I suggest you think about your feelings
too, you will realise that what you feel for me
isn’t the real thing” Tracy said and went into her
tent leaving him outside.

<< MORNING >>
Angela was headed for the girls bathroom
knowing that she was recieving stares but she
didn’t care one bit.
After all, she knows that Vance isn’t a girl and
that Tracy is right to kiss him.
Having decided to take a short route, she
stopped short when she saw Reed and Lola
together.
“You can’t just break things off with me. We’ve
been secretly dating for a long time and…”
“And I want to end it. You can’t stop me if I want
to end our relationship cause I made things
clear to you from the start” Reed replied.
“But I love you and you saw her last night, she’s
a gay. Just let her be and focus on me” Lola
begged but Reed gave her a condemning look.
“Stop trying to be a leech and go on your way.
It’s time I put an end to this relationship of ours,
it’s not taking either of us anywhere”
“Did she tell you to do this? She’s more devious
than I thought, have never liked her, I thought
her to be less worthy of you and she proved me
right, Tracy is a…”
“Stop it, Lola. It’s my decision to end this and no
one else, so face reality and get on with your life
just like I will with mine” he said and left her
crying.
Angela who was still watching from her hiding
place found herself pitying Lola.
She was about to leave too when she heard
Lola say.
“I will kill her, I won’t let her get away with this, I
will make her pay, I swear” Lola vowed and from
Angela stood, she saw her bringing out a pocket
knife.
Immediately, Angela pulled out her phone to call
Tracy.

Tracy was watching the sun rise when someone
approach her. Her gaze was on the sun that she
failed to notice the intruder until an arm came
around her waist.Tracy smiled before starring at
Vance.
“Have been looking for you” Vance said.
“Just wanted to escape for a while” Tracy
replied.
“Is it because everyone are talking about you”
“For that and many more”
“Can I at least know what the many more is?”
Vance asked and she turn towards him.
“Ever since James death, I thought I would never
fall in love again but then…the arrival of
someone has began to make me think
differently” Tracy said.
“Is this…”
“It is a confession that am making to the one
who has made me fall in love again. I love you
Vance, I don’t know when it began but I do know
that if I lose you, I…I don’t think I will be able to
live and…” She was stopped from saying more
when he kissed her lips.
“I love you too” he muttered and gave her
another kiss.
“But we will have to keep our relationship a
secret since am still in a girl get up” Vance said.
“I don’t care, I don’t care if they think me to be
gay, all I know is that I want you always by my
side and no where else” She added lightly
feeling like she’s on top of the world.
“Tch! Why don’t you two lesbo get a room” on
hearing the Bîtchy voice behind them, they both
turned to see Lola glaring at them.
“Why don’t you just go your way” Tracy replied
moving out of Vance arms.
“How can I? When you two have just ruined my
eyes” She said starring from Vance to Tracy.
“Stop beating around the bush and tell us why
you are here?” Vance asked.
“To give back to Tracy the same pain she made
me feel. Unlike you, I really love Reed,it was hard
for me sleeping with him while knowing he
loves you but I accepted it as long as I had him
by my side but the little I have, you had to take it
away too”
“Lola I have no idea what you are talking about”
“Really? You didn’t tell Reed to end things with
me right?”
“I didn’t. If he ended things with you then that is
his guilty conscience speaking not my doing”
Tracy said hotly.
“I knew you were going to deny it which is why I
also won’t let you be without feeling the same
pain am feeling” Lola said and pulling out a
knife, she ran towards Tracy wanting to stab her
but before she could succeed, Angela got in the
way and ended up being stab.
The next few hours was all about taking the
bleeding Angela to the nearest hospital.
The ambulance came and left with a sobbing
Tracy and Vance in toll.
An unconcious Angela was led into the
operation room while Vance and Tracy stayed
at the waiting room.
Tracy was still blaming herself for the incident
when Elsa joined them. They both manage to
calm Tracy when the doctor finally came out.
“Will my sister be fine?”Tracy asked.
“The patient lost a lot of blood before her arrival
and so we need donors”
It was late in the evening when a nurse
approach them.
Elsa had gone to the canteen to get them
something to eat and Tracy was fast asleep
leaving only Vance.
Vance went with the nurse not wanting to
disturb Tracy, he was taken to the doctor office
who told him to take a seat.
“I was having a talk with Elsa, the youngest
sister and she happen to talk about you being
an orphan”
Vance nodded remembering the other night
where he talked about the orphanage with Elsa.
“What does my being an orphan have to do with
our discussion?” Vance asked.
“The new recruit which just arrived made a
mistake by taking your blood sample to the
laboratory along with Elsa and the result is a bit
confusing ”
“Confusing? What does it say?” a confused
Vance asked again.
“For one you are a male and two you are related
to Elsa ”
