THIRTY MINUTES LATER≈ THE EMPERORS LECTURE HALL
Kennedy came out of the bathroom where he just took his bath.
He’s wearing black pants and wide white shirt, drying his hair with a towel.
“Her cake choose you since Newton rejected it” Ricardo said.
“Why would it choose me by doing that to my face?” Kennedy rolled eyes.
“Haven’t you ever heard of destined hearts?” Francisco said and Kennedy threw the towel at him.
“F*ck your mouth!”
“Your @$$ bro!” Francisco laughed.
“But Newton, weren’t you a lil bit harsh?, She looks fragile but you pushed her” Kennedy said, facing Newton who has been on his phone since they arrived back in class.
He’s acting chatting with November.
“Huh!” He looked up.
“What were you expecting?, He has a girlfriend” Francisco said and Kennedy gasped.
“I almost forgot about that part!, Newton which girlfriend were you talking about?, The one you sneaked out to see last night?” Kennedy winked.
“Yes” Newton replied and Ricardo faced him.
Kennedy and Francisco came closer.
“We’re like one big family, that’s why we’re called The Emperors, keeping such a secret from us is a crime I hope you know” Kennedy whispered.
“Tell me in my ear, what’s her name?, who’s she?, I’m dying to know!!” Francisco said.
“You guys should f*ck off already” Newton pushed them both away.
“On a serious note who’s your girlfriend?” Ricardo finally talked and Newton looked at him.
Their eyes met and they held it for a while.
“She told me she wants to keep it on a low for now” he said.
“I can’t even imagine or guess, seriously” Kennedy said.
“Me too” Francisco inhaled.
“This trip!, My soul and spirit are already in Miami, can’t wait to f*ck Miami girls, have you ever heard about their girls?, They’re hot Ricardo, those big B@@bs” Kennedy said dreamily.
“I don’t want to talk about girls please” Ricardo replied simply.
“People really do change, I wonder what November has to say to you” Francisco said.
“But Newton if I’m a girl trust me I’d date you right now” Kennedy said frankly.
Newton smiled, viewing his face on his phone screen, admiring his hair.
“I told you it’ll fit you” Ricardo said.
“Thanks dude” Newton flashed him a smile .
The practical alarm rang and they all left for the lab.

“So sorry Esme” Dahlia patted Esmeralda as they made their way to the lab.
Everyone is staring at her, making jest of her as they walked so she hid her face on Dahlia’s chest.
“I just had an ominous feeling about it, I should have stopped her” Monique said.
“You mean delicious feeling?, You were busy dreaming of eating the cake” Dahlia replied and Monique pouted
November is behind them, chatting with Newton.

“November what are you so engrossed with?” Monique came to her, interrupting her texting.
She quickly put it off.
“Checking out rompers and bikinis online” she lied.
“Since when did you become a fan of bikinis?” Monique gave a suspicious look.
“Stop being suspicious, Sherlock Holmes” November rolled eyes and they laughed.

The comments about Esmeralda kept getting more and more harsh as they approached the lab.
“These brats” Monique said.
November suddenly stopped and everyone went silent.
She stood still for a minute before moving forward again.
“d@mn you November!, You look like an hungry frog!” A female voice shouted and November stopped.
She faced where the voice came from and saw a rude looking girl in front of the English LH.
She’s looking at her daringly so it’s just easy to figure out that she’s the one.
November walked to her and till she got to her, she never moved.
“Say it again, tell me I look like an hungry frog again” she said, bending to her level cos she’s shorter.

It’s as if the rest of the words got stuck in her throat cos she didn’t go more further.
November slapped her lightly but soundly, she fell on her knees.
? She’s dead

November squatted in front of her and grabbed her hair.
“Ah!” She gasped painfully.
“Tell me the right you have to call me an hungry frog when you look like the human version of menstrual cramps” November said and everyone laughed.
“Huh?, What’s your name?” November asked.
“Sand….ra” she stuttered.
“F*ck you, say that to yourself” November glared.
“F*vk…me” Sandra muttered, already in tears.
November got a marker from her pocket and wrote FOOL OF THE YEAR on her forehead before standing.
“Anytime you see me again, run!” She said and started walking away.
“I love you role model!” She heard Ixora shouted.

“Let Silver get a hold of you” she smiled before entering the laboratory.
The first person she saw was Newton, he’s smiling at her.
She returned it and walked to her friends.
“Do you think something is going on between those two?” Poppy asked.
She actually saw the smile.
“We’ll find out at the trip, especially now that I want Newton back” Bora smirked.
“You’re not gonna wear your uniform?” Monique asked and November gasped.
She was about to leave the lab when Newton held her back.
“Here, there’s an extra” he gave her a new coat and she looked at him.

? Why is he giving her a new coat?
“Take it” he said and November took the coat slowly.
She put it on and went back to her friends.
“That was so cool” Monique whispered.
November looked at Esmeralda and met her eyes on her already.
Esmeralda smiled before looking away.
Doctor Roland came in and they all went silent.
He wasted no time before starting to talk about childbirth.
It has been discussed in class but he put finishing touches to the discussion and inhaled
“Shall we get started?” He said and opened the door to the inner laboratory with a remote.
It opened and they all moved there to see pregnant mannequins on every table, more like a surgery theater.
“You know what to do, right?” Doctor Roland said.
“Yes doctor!” They chorused.
“File into groups please, two members per group” he announced and everyone started searching for group members.
An hand suddenly pulled November and she found herself beside Ricardo.
“Wizard” she said surprisingly.
“Let’s do it together” he smiled and she blinked.
Newton looked at them and bit his lip, he’s with Bora unfortunately.
Esmeralda is with Kennedy.
Francisco is with Dahlia while Monique is with Poppy.
“Don’t spill blood on my face this time ok?” Kennedy said to Esmeralda and she smiled.
“I’m sorry about the other time”
“It’s fine, so far you have pu$$y, I’ll always forgive you even if you poison me, I love girls a lot” he winked and her eyes widened.
“Pervert” she muttered and he laughed.
“You’re leading the operation” he said and she quickly faced him.
“No I can’t….
“I saw your former results, you’re a brilliant student so no way out for you” he said.
“I’m in trouble” she sighed and he laughed again.
She shifted her attention to Newton.
Bora is busy touching his arm, trying to get his attention but he shoved her hand away and gave her a glare.
“Don’t touch me again, else it won’t end well…” He said and Esmeralda smiled but the smile disappeared when she saw him staring at November.
“Let’s start” Kennedy said, wearing his cap, gloves and mask
“Oh….yeah” she replied, wearing her cap and gloves but she hasn’t put on her mask when she started staring at Newton again.
Kennedy turned her head back to himself and wore the mask for her.
“When we’re done with the surgery, you can continue staring” he said, handing the scalpel to him.
“Newton let’s start” Bora said from their table but Newton kept looking at November.
She has already started the surgery with Ricardo and the way they’re both smiling at each other through the mask is even annoying.
He couldn’t stop looking at them.
Bora smirked when she saw the direction he’s staring at.
“Newton!” She called and he faced her reluctantly.
He put on the necessary things and Bora handed him the scalpel.
He placed it on the pregnant mannequin, ready to dissect but he looked back at November and Ricardo again.
As he stared, the scalpel went deeper into the mannequin and blood splashed up, wetting his coat and face, likewise Bora’s.
Everyone faced their table.
“President Newton are you ok?” Doctor Roland asked, coming to their table.
“I’ll do this some other time” he said and dropped the scalpel before leaving the lab.
Bora grunted and left too.
November wondered why, she stared at him till he went out of sight.
“Let’s continue” Ricardo said and she faced him.
“Yeah”
