Sharon walking with Maya and both laughing on a joke eventually Maya felt a drag on her dress.
She turned and saw two girls gaze at her scornfully.
” Why do you draw my uniform? ” Maya questioned astounding.
” Girl what is really your problem in this school, you busy throwing yourself up as if you are the queen or a protagonist ” Bella said.
” Seriously ” Becky added.
” please just leave my friend alone, what is wrong with you girls” Sharon said.
” Hey you girl, we didn’t permit you to talk so stay off? Becky said.
“No I don’t, she’s my friend. Her business is my business ” Sharon said.
They throw a scornful look at Sharon and ignored her.
” As for you better stay off our path or else… ” Maya cut in.
” Or else what? ” Maya interfered.
” No problem lets go” They stormed and left angrily.
*** Three Days Later ***
The principal drove into the school compound with his car.
He walked out well dressed on his glasses looking at the school in disbelief, he adjusted his tie and walked into his office.
After few minutes in the devotion he stepped out to address the students adjusting his glasses.
” Hello student… ” Principal greeted.
” Hello sir! ” The students responded in uniformity.
” You all are aware of my absence in the school for three days simply because of the baleful event that took place that almost cost my life, and I know some of you are not aware of it” Principal said and some of the students looked at themselves in surprise. ” I really thank God has eradicated her from this school. Miss Louis is a devilish teacher that tried taking my precious life away from me and God saved me” Principal added.
” She is such a tigress in sheep clothing ” a student shouted from the back and the crowd of students starts grumbling while Rollins the Senior prefect tried to control them with Mr. Kante.
” I don’t know what you are but if you also have a hand trying to dissipate this school as a student you better put and end to it” Principal vocalized.
Some students mussitate from the back lines. ” Also, I want to make this in your notice, the excursion the SS3 students of this school will embark on is in two weeks so be prepared ” He adjusted his glasses and walked his way to his office.
Miss Lucy ordered them to diffuse to their classes.
Jennifer walked up to Maya who was leading her way to the class.
” Hi… Maya! ” Jennifer said.
” Hii… How are you doing? ” Maya said.
” I’m fine ”
” I have not seen you in school in few days now, what happened? ” Maya asked.
” I wasn’t feeling too well that’s why ” She lied.
” Oh.. So sorry ”
” It fine, I’m better now” Jennifer said.
” Alright! ” Maya walked away.
” I’m gonna teach you the lessons of your life you think you are smart” Jennifer soliloquized and walked away.
Maya walked into principal’s office looking beautiful and neat as usual.
” Good morning sir… You sent for me! ” Maya said.
” Yes I did” principal said shaking himself on his office seat.
“Okay sir”
” I was just trying to reminerce and understand something. How did you get to saved me from that slayer? ” principal said giving a stare on maya.
” Sir it just the Lords doing ” Maya spilled.
” How? Cause you came so immediately and later I heard she taken to the mortuary ” Principal interrogated.
” The Lord’s thunder dealt mercilessly with her after you escaped, that’s all” Maya lied.
” Do you mean…. ” Maya cuts in.
” Please sir there was a teacher in the class when you sent for me. Lemme be going so as to catch up with the lessons, thanks you ” Maya said and walked out of the office.
Late at night Jennifer voice echoed in the room her room mate deep asleep in her separate bed in the hostel room.
” I need more blood and flesh to chew to get more powers for this mission, my enemies must be eliminated ” Jennifer said fiercely. She instantly turned into a big python rolling…
