Chapter one
“Go away! Leave me alone” he said, as he knelt on the floor. Squeezing his hand tightly.
“But how can I leave when you are in pain. I will call the doc…..”
“Don’t you…..dare…. don’t! Just….leave “He yelled at her. But Rose couldnt leave when she knew he was in so much pain.
“I can’t leave you like this! I will……”
“Leave me alone!”he yelled starring at her now. She saw his face and gasped out loud. Moving away from him.
“What are you?”Rose found herself asking.
He didn’t answer her question like she requested. Instead he stood up slowly. No longer having the pain he was feeling earlier.
“I told you to leave and since you choosr not to. You will just have to suffer the consequence”he said as he turned towards her.
Rose knew what that statement meant, and without waiting for him to tell her what he is ……she began to run for her life.
(Thirteen hours earlier)
Rose layed on the floor while Miranda and her two minion bullied her.
Taking the thrash bin, they poured it right on her head and laughed as they enjoyed their cruelty on her.
“You really are a tough one. You have endured our bullying for weeks now. Why don’t you just leave. The only thing we want is for you to leave. People like you don’t deserve to be at this school. Having the same right as we”Miranda stated as she stared at Rose.
“And what right does spoilt rich brats have, cause what you guys are to me are only spoilt rich brats”Rose replied. Making Miranda furious.
“We are spoilt. Spoilt just like you have said but we have that right, and that’s because we are powerful and rich. What do you have? You have nothing and yet you dare to talk! Your just a stupid pauper who got a scholarship into our school, and I have made it my job to make pauper like you leave”Miranda said as she pulled Rose by her hair.
“Then you won’t succeed. My aim is to graduate here and not you or anyone else will make me leave”Rose replied fiercely and was rewarded with a slap on the face.
“You are messing with the wrong person. Get out before I lose my patience and do something worse to you. You have been warned” Miranda threatened as she walked off with her minion trailing after her.
Rose got up. Picking her stuff which had been thrown on the floor by them.
“Those witches. Telling me to leave when I worked hard to get in here”She muttered as she finished packing her things.
She had always wanted to attend Royal high and had given her best to attain a scholarship. She had gotten it just like she wanted and had thought life would be smooth as sailing in the school but that thought was destroyed when the bullying began. Being the only scholar student at the school. Every one bullied her.
She had told the teachers about it but they had shrugged it off as nothing. And there have been time when she wanted to quit, but each time she wanted to do so. She remembered her mother and sister who were so proud to have her attending the school. She also knew she would get a lot of benefit in the future by attending a prestigious school as this.
So giving up isn’t something In her vocabulary. Its never been in her and it will never be.
Seeing her snack that they threw on the floor. She quickly went to pick it up.
“Look what they’ve done to you”She muttered, as she cleaned it before eating it again.
“Wasting previous food”She muttered as she ate another bite.
“I won’t give up. I won’t leave!” She added as she munch on the snack angrily.
She got to class only to be put to task by Miranda who gave her a moping equipment.
“As you know. I was punished by the teacher for sneaking out of school yesterday. Do my chores for me”She ordered as she moved toward Rose.
“Or you can give up and leave the school like I want you to”Miranda added.
“Tell me where to clean”Rose stated. If Miranda thinks this will get her to quit school. Then she is only wasting her time. Rose thought as she was told where to clean.
Rose was almost done with mopping the end of the hall way when three guys walk in.
Students began screaming. Calling out for them as they walk by.
“Aren’t they handsome?”
“I love them all”
“Look at me Martin ”
“Am willing to be your slave Peter”
“I can’t seem to pick, I just like them all”
“I love you Louis”
Rose stood. Watching how they made the hall way dirty again.
She couldn’t understand why they go crazy over some group of guys. Just because they were the heir to a well known family and because they are popular at school. Students go crazy over them. Wanting to claim their attention.
She moved out of their way. Annoyed by the mess they created, when her eyes caught Louis Finnegan.
He eyed like she was some worthless thing and moved off.
“What a jerk!” Rose muttered as she got more angry.
Just because he is the heir to the Finnegan empire. Because he is the most popular guy at school doesn’t give him the right to stare at her that way.
“Crazy jerk!”She muttered as she stared after them.
One of them stopped. It was the one called Peter. He picked up her mopping stick and gave it to her.
“Sorry for the dirt”he apologised and walked off before Rose could reply.
It was the first act of kindness she had ever received at school. She had always thought all the rich kids to be the same but what Peter did today proved her wrong.
Having that thought in mind. Rose went back to class. Focusing on the day activity.

It was the day end and it wasn’t until the students began to talk about the handsome trio when her mind drifted off to Peter. She found herself smiling as she remembered his manner towards her earlier.
She was putting her stuff in her bag when someone threw a paper at her.
She turned to see Miranda mouthing at her to pick the paper.
Rose picked it up and read it’s content which told her to head to the Science laboratory to get it cleaned.
“Hurry”Miranda mouthed at her wanting her to leave quickly.
Taking her stuff. Miranda headed to the Science lab to get it cleaned as she requested.
She was searching for the cleaning equipment when she heard the door close.
“Foolish girl”Miranda retorted, as they bolted the door from outside.
“What are you doing? “Rose yelled as she tried to open the door.
“Not a chance darling. Stay there and reflect on your behaviour. Did you think I won’t get back at you for your behaviour this morning?”Miranda asked.
“This is being childish Miranda. Open the door”Rose said trying to cajole her.
“I don’t care. After all we are nothing but spoilt rich brat to you. So deal with it”Miranda replied laughing as they all walked off. Leaving Rose locked up in the science lab.
Rose woke up due to the footsteps she heard. It was dark already and it was seven in the evening, and she was still locked up in the lab.
She had knocked and yelled for help, long after Miranda had lock the door.But no one came to her aid.
She couldn’t call because she didn’t posses a phone. She had sold her phone to help with the expenses at home and haven’t been able to buy a new one.
She had been thinking of a way out when she dozed off. She must have been sleeping for a long time because it was past seven. Her mother will be worried about her.
She thought as she stood up, about to yell, when the security guard opened the door.
“What are you doing here, young miss?”He asked.
“I was locked up. I will leave now”She replied as she took her things.leaving the lab in a rush.
It was dark and kind of scary because the school was empty and bereft.
She walked past some couple of classes which led to the main hall when she heard someone.
She stood still thinking it was a ghost or someone trying to bully her. But then she heard the voice again and it turned out to be of someone, yelling out in pain.
Wanting to know who it was. Rose trailed the voice and saw someone kneeling on the floor.
She moved closer and saw that it was none other than Louis Finnegan. What is he doing here? She thought as she moved towards him.
As if he noticed her arrival. He stopped Mõ@ning out in pain and yelled at her.
