Chapter Eighteen & Nineteen
The mask that had been used to cover up Rose face was pulled away. She was seated on a chair and she was in an abadoned ware house.
“Who are you and what do you want?” She asked as she stared at the men who had kidnapped her earlier.
They stared at her and gave her a smile before continuing their conversation, ignoring her.
She began pulling at the rope which had been used to tie her up but it wouldn’t budge. Her things had been taken by them and the copy of the CCTV footage is in it. She hope they don’t do a thing to her phone.
“She’s here” Rose heard one of the men say as they went to open the door for their leader.
Rose wasn’t surprised to see Lilian. She knew she would be capable of doing this sort of thing.
“So it’s you”Rose said starring at her.
“It is. Are you surprised?”She asked
“Of course not. Am no longer surprised at what you do. Why did you bring me here?”Rose asked.
“A little birdie told me that you had been visiting the school security room and I made a guess and came up with a plausible reason. You went to get the CCTV footage of our discussion yesterday”She finished.
“Fine! I did. I went to get a copy”Rose returned.
“That’s bad because you won’t be able to use it against me”She said and the guards came bringing Rose phone.
“It’s in here right! Let me see”She said as she went through it and found it.
“Great! All I have to do now is to delete it”Lilian added as she pressed the delete button.
“You won’t get away with this Lilian”Rose yelled at her.
“I think am already getting away with it. Luckily I got to Louis on time and made him believe me instead of you which worked perfectly. You somehow manage to get hold of the CCTV footage and its been erased by me and don’t think the security team will have another copy for you because it’s been erased. Now tell me if am not getting away with it”Lilian asked triumphantly.
“What are you going to do? Will you keep me locked up?”Rose asked.
“You are getting in the way of my plan. I really want to wipe you out of this earth but I can’t soil my pretty hands with your blood. So instead you will be locked up here. I just need to spend some few days more with Louis and find something I could use on him and he will be out of my way too” Lilian said.
“You really wont stop until you have your revenge?”Rose asked.
” If you were in my shoes. Will you stop?”Lilian asked.
“I will try to find a way to avenge my sister but I will do it clean. Not like this. Am sure your sister isn’t happy with what you have…. ” Rose didn’t get to finish her word because Lilian slapped her.
“How dare you talk about my sister when you know nothing about her!” Lilian yelled.
“I might have not know her but am sure she wouldn’t have want you to turn out this way. She wouldn’t be happy knowing that you’ve turned into a monster” Rose continued fiercely and she slapped her again.
“I told you to shut up” Lilian yelled as she raised her hand to hit Rose again.
“Stop it Lilian!” A voice yelled and they all turned to see Louis standing by the entrance.
“Look who we have here? Come to save her?”Lilian asked not bothering to hide the fact that she could talk from him.
“Am your target. Am the one you want. So let her go”Louis said not surprised by her talking.
“You don’t seem shock with me talking?” Lilian asked as her men went to grab hold of Louis.
“Why should I when I already watched the video sent by Rose”He returned and she stared at Rose in surprise.
“I thought you were the only one who had that copy?” Lilian asked.
“I decided to send it to Louis before leaving the school. Your men got to me few minutes late after I sent it to Louis” Rose replied.
“So you made a fool out of me?” Lilian yelled as she moved towards Rose again.
“Leave her alone Lilian. Am the one you want and so here I am. Just let Rose go” Louis said stopping Lilian who was about to hit Rose again.
“Fine. She had only been a trouble for me. You have been the one I wanted all along and now that I have you here. I won’t let you go easily” She said and immediately her men began to hit Louis.
“No! Stop it! Please stop them Lilian!”Rose yelled as she watched Louis getting beaten.
“It hurts right! Well that was how I felt when I lost my sister. Watch how the guy you like get beaten up”She said as she pulled Rose face up to look at Louis who was still being beaten up
“Stop them Lilian. They are going to kill him”Rose begged.
“Who cares. It would thrill me if he dies just like my sister did”Lilian said.
“And what? Will you be happy becoming a murderer? Do you think that by having him killed, your revenge will be complete. Well you are wrong Lilian. This is not the right way! “Rose yelled at her and she signalled the men to stop.
“And what is the right way? “Lilian asked.
“There is no right way to this because I wasn’t the one your sister was interested in”Louis said suddenly and everyone turned to stare at him.
“What did you just say?” Lilian asked as she moved towards him.
“Stephanie didn’t like me. I wasnt the guy she was inlove with” he said calling her sister name.
“After killing her. You deny her. How much of a jerk can you be? If it isn’t you, then who was she interested in?”Lilian yelled pulling him by his shirt.
“Me” they all looked up to see Martin and Peter standing by the door way while police officers Walked into the room to get hold of the men.
Peter ran towards Rose to untie her while Martin went to help Louis up.
“Are you ok?”Peter asked as he untied her hands.
“I am but am Louis isn’t” Rose said as she stared at Louis worriedly. As soon as the rope was untied. She quickly went towards Louis who Martin was now supporting to stand right.
“Your lying”Lilian who had gone quiet after Martin revelation spoke up gaining their attention.
“Lying? Your sister was the one who lied. Stephanie was into me but I wasn’t. I told her clearly that am not the sort of guy she should fall for but she insisted and became a stalker. She showed up everywhere I went to. Called and texted me endlessly. I can show you all her texts if you don’t believe me. Each time I got a new girlfriend. She would threaten them away. She posted on her account that I was her boyfriend. I couldn’t take it anymore and so I went to confront her. I told her to stop or I will report her and I thought it worked but she ended up killing herself. Am sorry that it had to turn out that way but the truth is that your sister was a stalker” Martin said and Lilian knelt on the floor crying.
“This can’t be true! It can’t be”Lilian said as she remembered some things which didn’t seem to fit but she had overlooked it and had began her revenge pursuit.
“You will have to come with us Miss” The police officer said as they pulled her up and walked her out of the room.
“Are you okay?”Martin asked Louis.
“Yes. I just have to take a rest and…..”
“No. Let’s take him to the hospital. He was beaten badly”Rose said and they all agreed taking him to the hospital.
