Chapter Twenty eight
“We are here”Louis said as he stopped the car in front of Rose house.
” I had a lovely day today ” Rose said beaming a smile at him.
“I don’t think I can let you leave”He spoke softly
“Why?”She asked
“Am missing you already. Let’s just go to my house. We will tell your mom that you closed late and decided to sleep over”Louis implored.
“What are you planning in that devious head of yours. You perv!”She said jokingly
“That’s not what I mean. I just want you by my side and……”
“It’s a no Louis. You rich kids might be used to sleeping over at a friend place or at somewhere else entirely but we aren’t allowed to do that. My mother is a woman with rules for her kids.”Rose said.
“And are you also like your mom?”Louis asked as he removed her seat belt to pull her on his laps.
“Have got to go Louis”Rose protested but he was already kissing her. Preventing her from saying another word.
“Let’s just leave”Louis said in between kisses.
“I want to be alone with you” Louis added only for her to get out of his arms.
“Have got to go Louis. See you tomorrow” she said leaving his car in a rush.
Unknown to the two love birds. Rose mother stood in her room watching them.
THE NEXT DAY
“Why did you ask me to see you here?”Rose asked as she got to the school roof top.
“Must I have a reason to see my girlfriend”Louis asked as he pulled her close to embrace her while she did the same.
“You don’t but there are times when this girlfriend of yours is busy “Rose returned.
“Busy with what? That’s what you have been telling me the whole day. You weren’t even in class when I went to look for you” Louis said.
“That’s because have been at the library all day”Rose replied.
“Why?”he asked.
“Exams will begin soon. Are you really a student of this school?”She asked softly.
“Oh! I have been busy with things and besides I don’t need to study at all. The exams will be a piece of cake for me without even studying”He said proudly.
“Lucky you. While some are born with brains others aren’t. So have got to go back and study”Rose said as she tried to pull away but he pulled her back.
“You just got here and you don’t have to bother with studying. Am rich you know”He said with a grin.
“Your being rich doesn’t make me rich too. I don’t care about your money. I will make it on my own and earn my money myself. So don’t think about spending your money on me”She said seriously and Louis gave her a smile before hugging her again.
“You truly are the girl for me. I love you”He said to her.
“Why are you suddenly being romantic? “Rose asked teasing him.
“Am a romantic at heart”He replied before giving her a quick kiss.
“Have got go”Rose said as she pulled out of his arms.
“Remember that we are leaving for home together”Louis said as he walked her to the roof top entrance.
On hearing someone approach. Louis pulled his hand out of hers while two students walk past them. Starring and whispering amongst themselves.
“You better head back to the library. I will see you soon”Louis muttered before walking off.
Rose got into the rest room, doing her business when she heard some girls discussing.
?”Louis is dating someone”
“That’s a lie. After what Lilian did. He wouldn’t rush into another relationship”?
?”Well he did. Though he hasn’t announce it. I think he is dating Rose”
“The scholar student?”?
?”The one and only. Sarah from the other class was talking about seeing them at the sauna yesterday and the two of them were spotted at the rooftop today”
“That doesn’t mean they are dating. She might be the one going after Louis. After all she is a poor student and trying to seduce a rich guy will be one of her goal”?
?”Your right! Louis would never be attracted to someone like her. Being the best amongst the Lord’s of the school. He wouldn’t stoop so low. ”
“We shouldn’t let things like this worry us. That’s the bell. It’s time to go home”?
They were right in saying she is poor but they had no right in saying she isn’t good for Louis. Feeling so angry by their insult. Rose got out of the toilet and went after them.
She caught up with the two girls who had been in the rest room.
“Just what do you know about Louis to say such thing?”Rose asked.
?”What do you mean?”
“I might be poor and a scholar In this school but that doesn’t make me different from you all. Am I that bad that Louis cant fall for me?”Rose asked again.
“Just what are you playing……”?
“You said Louis cant be in a relationship with me. Well let me tell you that Louis and i are dating. He loves me just as much as I love him. So stick that into your head” Rose yelled at them and by now a lot of students were now watching.
?”You might be lying for all we know”
“Will this prove it to you then”Louis asked as he walked towards Rose to give her a kiss on the lips taking them all by surprise.
“I suppose she doesn’t have to prove anything anymore. Now listen up everyone! Rose and i are dating and so wh@tëver respect you give me. I expect you to give Rose the same and If anyone of you messes with her. You will be getting into trouble with me. I hope have made myself clear?”He said and together they left the scene.
Walking past everyone, hand in hand. Showing them all that they were together.
“Are those two dating? But I thought she likes you”Martin asked as he and Peter stood amongst the on lookers starring at the two couple.
“Seems like she prefer Louis and am happy for them. Those two have been through a lot. Miranda and her minions who luckily have been expelled and there is Lilian who left the country out of shame and then Yu si Feng who have moved on from Rose. I hope they get the happiness they deserve”Peter said softly.

“Still the same” one of the maid said as she walked into the kitchen.
“What has gotten into the young master? Ever since he arrived from school. He has locked himself up in his room. He isn’t even coming downstairs for dinner. Mrs Brad will reprimand us if she finds out “Another maid said.
“Why should we be reprimanded. He is the one who doesn’t want to have dinner”Rose spoke out for the first time.
She knew why Louis is acting up. He has been texting her for a while to come up to his room but when she refused he told her that he wouldn’t be coming downstairs.
“Mrs Brad always blame us for any mistake the young master make. This will definitely be put on us”The maid who had taken the food to him said.
“Why don’t you go Rose. He might listen to you since you two attend the same school” the other maid offered.
“I doubt that”Rose replied only to be persuaded ardently. Having no choice she went to his room and began to knock.
“Whoever is there should leave. Am not coming downstairs” she heard him say and instead of doing as he said . She kept on knocking until he finally opened the door.
“I told you…..oh it’s you”He said, grinning like a fool when he saw her there.
“You are making work difficult for everyone”Rose admonished and he moved towards her.
“Really? Then they won’t mind you missing for a while right?”He asked as he lifted her by her waist into the room before closing the door.
“What are you doing Louis? “Rose asked as she tried to get out of his arms but he stopped her by kissing her.
“I didn’t come here for this Louis”Rose said trying not to fall for his seduction but instead he lifted her on the desk and stood over her.
“But I only want you right now” he said kissing her brow, her eyes and her nose. He would have moved to her lips but she moved away.
“I only came to tell you to come downstairs to eat”Rose said trying hard not to give in to temptation.
“I only want you for dinner”Louis said as he succeeded in kissing her again before lifting her into his arms. Taking her to his bed where he ravished her with kisses.
Rose have never felt this way before. The feeling of fear and excitement ran all over her as Louis hands ran over her body.
She have always wondered how it was between a male and female and now here she is testing waters with Louis. She thought as she pulled him close.
The knock on the door prevented them from doing any other thing.
“Master Louis”They heard Mrs Brad called and quickly Louis went to talk to her while Rose stayed in his room looking around.
She was still looking when he walked back in to wrap his arms around her.
“That was a close one. Now where did we stop?”Louis asked as he began kissing her neck but she pulled away.
“It’s time I went back. They will be looking for me”Rose said but he pulled her back.
“I already made an excuse for you and besides I want you to stay for a while. I promise not to touch you again”Louis said and she decided to stay .
He showed her around his room and also a photo Album which they both went through together. Laughing at some of the memories that went with it.
A while later they stood in front of the window starring at the moon.
“It’s going to be a full moon tomorrow. Make sure your in”Rose warned as he stood behind her. Holding her .
“I don’t need to do that”He replied.
“Why? “Rose asked and he explained the whole thing to her.
“So if am around you even though it’s the full moon you won’t change to a vampire?”Rose asked as she turned to stare at him.
“I won’t and that’s because you are my cure. So always stay close to me no matter what. Your the only one I can depend on now”He said and she nodded feeling glad that she can be of use to him.
“I will”She replied only to be rewarded with a kiss.
Louis took her home as always and he insisted on escorting her to the front door.
“You didn’t have to and besides my mom could see us”Rose said softly.
“I would really like to tell her who I am “Louis replied sadly.
“Soon. That will happen soon but for now let’s just leave it as this”Rose said and he pulled her into a tight embrace.
“Louis”She called trying to pull away.
“Grant me one last hug. It’s going to be a long night for me”Louis said and she let him have his way.
“What’s going on here?” A voice said from the door way and the two pulled apart only to see Rose mom. Looking very angry.
