“What happened?” That same voice repeated and they looked at each other before Rushing in
“Where am I?” Adel asked looking around
The whole room was smaller than her wardrobe
“You’re awake?” Jeremy asked gently
“Jem, what happened? Am I dead already? If am dead then what are you doing here,” she asked still looking around
“I came to the land of death to bring you back,” he said she stood up
“Wait,” Sasha shouted cos the old duvet covering her fell down
She had no idea that she wasn’t wearing anything, Sasha quickly gets the duvet and wrapped it around her chest
That’s when it becomes clear to her that she wasn’t wearing anything, she looked at Jeremy to see him facing the other side and signed in relief
“I thought you’re a pervert I would have broken your head” she muttered under her breath but Sasha heard it and start laughing
“What happened?” Jeremy asked and turn around to face them
“Nothing, I will go call the local physician,” she said and left
Jeremy forgot the fact that he was going to work and sat beside her, her wounds healed quickly… All thanks to the local physician she looks spotless again
“Where is Margaret?” Was the first question she asked looking around
“Everyone thought you were dead,” he replied and Tears build up in her eyes immediately
“Hey, it’s okay, I will call her later in the day, ” he said and she nodded
She was fighting back the tears in her eyes
“It’s okay, everything is gonna be alright,” he assured and she looked at him
How can you be this beautiful even without any makeup, you just woke up from a coma and you’re looking all pretty again,” Jeremy thought staring at her
She still hasn’t understood what was happening, it was as if something was missing and she was trying to figure out what it was.
Jeremy hold her chin and slowly turned her to face him, she just stood still like a status without moving or blinking her eyes
He leaned over and made to kiss her but someone hit his head and pull him by his ear outside
“Ouch,” that hurts he winched
“I said you can make babies but I didn’t say you should do it immediately after she wakes up,” The local physician scolded
Turns out she was the one that hit him anyway
“She’s too pretty and charming, it’s not that easy,” he pouted
“You have to try, for now, she doesn’t know what she’s doing until her memory and body come together, she needs food and rest then medicine,” the woman said and he nodded
“I know she’s too pretty but one step at a time, I know she’s all yours and you can do anything you want once she’s healthy, by the way, where did you meet her….”
“It’s pretty lady,” Sasha corrected
“Where did you meet the pretty lady? Happy now?” She said and Sasha smiles
“Just go check on her already,” Jeremy said and frown
The local physician went inside and Adel was still looking around the house, she gave her some medicine and Adel took it then a few moments later
She started getting herself together bit by bit, she touched her flat tummy
“For how long have I been sleeping?” She asked no one in particular
“Six months,” Sasha replied
“Have I given birth already, though it’s nine months? Where is my baby? Hope is a girl? I want to see her,” she said and everyone was silent
She took her gaze from one person to another
“Don’t tell me that am still pregnant cos I have seen many pregnant women and their tummy is huge,” she said with a light smile
“Am sorry, the baby couldn’t make it,” The local physician said and she stood up immediately
“You’re lying right?” She asked laughing like a mad person
“Am sorry, it was already gone before you get here,” the woman added and she nearly falls but Jeremy was quick to hold her
“No… I was gonna be a good mother, no.. no… No, you’re lying, tell me you’re lying! No!!!” She yelled moving back
“Calm down,” Jeremy said and she made to slap him but he quickly ducked it
“I was gonna be a good mother, tell me you’re lying,” she shouted and hold her head
“You can still make another one,” the local physician said and she rans off
“Pretty lady,” Sasha shouted and runs after her
Jeremy turns to the woman looking all pitiful
“What should I do?” He asked and roughed his head
“Calm her down and talk, then make another baby if not she will go crazy,” the woman replied and gathered her things

Margaret was packing their stuff in a box planning to leave since the boss is no longer around, staying here will do her more harm than good
“What a beauty,” she heard that voice that makes her blood boil with rage
“I will kill you no matter what it takes, just watches your back cos I will make sure to prove to the whole world that you killed her and you will not go Scott free,” she said staring at Steve who smirked
“Accusing me of murder is an offense and I can charge you for that, but seeing that you’re as pretty as your boss I will like to taste that sweet juice of yours again,” he said and she spites on his face immediately
“You’re a disgusting creature, a demon in disguise, just watch and see how I will expose you,” she said and continue what she was doing
He smirked and clean his face with a handkerchief
“The box,” he asked
“Go to hell for all I care,” she snapped
If only glare could kill I bet Steve would have been dead by now
He went to the wall and place his hand on it and she just watch him
“Initiating activation,” came the computer voice
It scanned his hand and showered a red light
“Failed… Failed, Please Input the right code,” the computer voice said again and he looked at Margaret who has an angry look on her face
“Open it,” he said going to her
“Go f*ck your mother, son of a Bîtch,” she said and he raised his hand to slap her and she closed her eyes waiting for the slap but nothing happened
She slowly opened her eyes to see Bruce holding Steve’s hand looking all angry
“How dare you?” Steve sneered and Bruce punched him immediately and it send him flying to the wall
“Argh,” he winched in pain
“No one touches what’s mine, nobody,” Bruce said and kicked his stomach
“Argh!!!” He yelled groaning in pain
“Get up and fight me, son of a Bîtch!!” Bruce yelled and grabbed his collar then punched him again in the face his lips Bursted
“C’mon, fight me,” Bruce said but he staggered back and cleaned the blood on his lips
“This isn’t over boy,” Steve said going to the door
“Call me that again and I will have your balls, you wanted to fight right? Why not fight me like a man? Why are you running?” Bruce asked going after him but he runs out holding his mouth that was covered with blood
“Are you alright?” Bruce turned to Margaret and asked gently
She blinked twice
“Margaret, did he touch you?” He added and she came back from her dream world
“No, am fine … Thank you,” she said gently and he went closer
Tears gathered in her eyes and she just allowed them to fall freely
“Hey, don’t cry again please,” Bruce said gently
“I Missed her so much, I wish I can just see her again,” she mumbled and he offered a crying shoulder
“Why does it hurt so much? It’s been six months but it’s still as if everything happened just yesterday,” she added still crying
“Get away from my son black witch,” Mrs. Benson walked into the office and dragged her away
“Mom, what are you doing?” Bruce asked surprised
Shortly Ashley came in
“Where is the code? Where is it?” Ruth asked glaring at Margaret
