“What the hell do you think you are doing? Don’t you know that Rowan is your rival, if you are not careful enough, he would want to take your position.”, Chairman Williams said.
“I know that dad.”, Harry said.
“If you know, then what did you do that for? Why were you spending time there when you were supposed to be working, shouldn’t you show that you are better than him. You are my eldest and legitimate son and yet all you do is to disappoint me every single time.”, He yelled.
“Rowan I really don’t understand why you are acting so carelessly, I’m so disappointed in you for lying to me.”
“I am sorry.”, He said.
“If you are really sorry then make sure you really act like the son I raised and trained well.”, He said as he pushed his head angrily.

Rowan’s house
“Are you now giving up on your love?”, Janice asked Leon as they waited for the only person who wasn’t arrived yet, Ruby.
“Of course not! Someone advised me not to give up and I have decided to win her heart no matter what.”, He said.
“Someone? Who was it?”, Rowan asked.
“Mr Harry, we told me that instead of crying over a lady, I should make sure I win her heart and he also said I shouldn’t care about our friendship because I don’t see her as a friend.”, He said a bit excited.
“Really? I never knew harry was nice that he would give advise.”, Heaven said.
“Are you sure it was Harry?”, Rowan asked and he nodded.
Just then ruby entered and everyone just turned to her.
“Good morning and I’m Sorry that I am late.”, She greeted.
“You don’t need to apologise, I’m sure you were late because of something important.”, Leon said as he quickly went to adjust the seat where she would sit.
“By the way, you look so beautiful today.”, He said and everyone just smiled at each other.
“Let’s start our work.”, Rowan said and they got back to work immediately.

Several days and weeks passed, Rowan was finally getting better.
He was already begining to take off his mask in front of everyone but since he was still insecure about his face, ruby offered to wear make up for him since she was an expert in that area.
Rowan was finally going to go out even though it wasn’t in a crowded place yet but he could go out without his mask and he hasn’t had any panic attack for a long time.
After work, he was always excited to go out and one thing that made him relief was that he would no longer be troubling me James like before.
Now he is able to take heaven out unlike before.
“Why don’t you ever listen? You are making me uncomfortable by wooing me.”, Ruby said.
“How is wooing someone uncomfortable? If you not not comfortable you can just reject me, just reject me already so that my heart will be convinced that you don’t like me.”, Leon replied.
“The reason I am like this is because of you …. It’s all your fault that I like someone who doesn’t even like me.”, She said as her expression changed.
“Why is it because of me? What did I do?”
“Nevermind.”, She said about to walk away but Leon was quick to stop her.
“Are you really going to pretend that you don’t know the answer? Wasn’t it so obvious that I was into you?”, She asked and he furrowed his brows confused.
“What are you talking about?”
“Why do you think I was always clinging to you? Why do you think I was always teasing you and annoying you? Why do you think I was always putting on my makeup? Why do you think I was always interrupting any conversation you are having with a lady? Why do you think I h@të it when you are being so cool and friendly to ladies?”, She threw the questions at him, leaving you dumbfounded.
“Do you think it was easy trying to gain your attention? I would do things that made me look so pathetic just to get your attention but at the end, I was just your best friend. Now that I finally got rid of those feelings, you now want to win me?”, She asked as tears rolled down her cheek.
“Why didn’t you tell me?”
“Do you think I would be able to handle a rejection? Do you think I haven’t tried?”
“But I liked you since the first day we met, I have always liked you. I didn’t just develop feelings for you.”, Leon replied and she looked at him shocked.
“I also thought that you only saw me as a friend, although I am close to many girls but you were always the one in my heart. I didn’t know you liked me either and that was why I was doing my best to hide my feelings.”, He said.
“Well it’s all in the past now, I no longer feel anything for you.”, She said and Leon suddenly hugged her.
“I was an idiot for not making a move and for not realizing how you felt back then, I am sorry Ruby. Can you give me another chance?”, He said and she pulled herself out of the hug.
“There is no other chance, just give up already. You have been disturbing for months now. I can’t love you the second time.”, She said and Leon’s phone rang immediately.
? “Your blind date just arrived, where are you now?”
?”Are you coming or not?”, The person asked and Leon just looked at ruby and she looked away.
?”I’m sorry, I can’t go on the date again.”, He replied.
“It’s better you go because it doesn’t make much difference to me, things can’t go back to being the same.”, Ruby said.
?”Dude! How can you do this? Didn’t you promise to come, the girl is waiting. How do I tell her that you are no longer coming?”
?”I’m on my way.”, Leon said and hung up.
“I’m really leaving and I am really sorry for being so dumb not to recognize your feeling. If I have so much uncomfortable then I think I should give up but that will never change wh@tëver I feel for you. Whenever you change your mind about me, let me know.”, He said and left.
