“What are you thinking about Mr Rowan?”, Mr James asked seeing how he was just staring into space.
“It’s nothing.”, He replied and James nodded.
“You should go now, you must be so tired and exhausted after everything I have asked you to do.”, Rowan instructed.
“Is there anything you want me to do for you before I leave sir?”, He asked and Rowan shook his head.
“No, I will be okay.”, He replied and Mr James bowed and left.
Rowan brought out his phone and he checked his message, no message and call. No one to ask about him, he dad only called just to tell him not to ruin his reputation and his company reputation.
Even Nevaeh didn’t even call or message him to ask after him, he has been the one doing that and sometimes the way she replies coldly makes him think that he’s just being to desperate to be loved.
He just went to his window to stare at the busy street to keep himself busy. That is what he has been doing all his life, staring outside and admiring what he can never experience.
He just sighed, closed his windows and went to sleep. He has embarrassed his girlfriend more than enough that he’s begining to think that she would be better with someone else.

“Nevaeh are you sure about this? Do you think I should really be involved, isn’t it better to tell him yourself? I have a bad feeling about this.”, Heaven said.
“Come-on I already told you that I can’t bring myself to break up with him me. Please just help me out this once, I won’t ask for any other favour again.”, She said.
“Okay this is the last time.”, Heaven said as she dressed like how her sister dresses to work and styled her hair the same way too.
“Just remember to go with the flow and you will be fine.”, She said.

“Nevaeh! I have been collecting you since I saw you at the door, why didn’t you answer?”, Someone said tapping heaven.
“I’m not ….! Oh I was thinking about something, sorry.”, She replied.
“Are you thinking of Mr Rowan or Mr Harry?”, The person asked wrapping his hand around her neck and heaven immediately pushed him away.
“Geal just mind your business and stop touching other people’s girlfriend anyhow.”, She said and the boy just looked at her as if he just saw a ghost.
“You aren’t Nevaeh right?”, He asked.
“Why can’t I be Nevaeh?”, She replied with a question.
“Firstly, she doesn’t speak rudely and she doesn’t complain about me touching her since we are close and most importantly you called me Gael, I am not Gael, I am Leon.”, He said and heaven eyes widened.
She hasn’t even stepped into the office and yet she was about to be caught.
“I Know that you aren’t Gael, I was just messing with your hand, I wanted to see your reaction and see — I caught you.”, She said and laughed and Leon joined her laughing, looking confused.
“Good morning Nevaeh!”, A woman in her thirties greeted.
“Morning Mrs hmm….!”, Heaven was trying to remember the name her sister has mentioned earlier but it just escaped her mind.
Everyone looked at her confused because she was really acting weird.
“Everyone I was just playing tricks okay? Don’t look at me in that manner.”, She said and laughed and everyone gathered around her.
“Do you think she’s okay? She was acting weird earlier.”, Leon said.
“No I’m really okay but I….!”
“Guys I know what happened.”, Someone said and everyone turned to the person.
“Come here.”, The person gestured and everyone ran to him.
“I think she was dumped.”, The man whispered.
“But by who? Mr Harry or cold monster (Rowan)?”, Someone asked and the argument started.
“It’s obviously Mr Harry.”, Some said.
“No it’s cold monster.”, Another group said.
“Cold monster? Is that Rowan?”, Heaven wondered.
“So what’s happening here?”, Mr Harry asked and everyone kept quiet and heaven laughed.
“This people are so funny.”, She thought.
“Are you all that less busy to be arguing? The division of teams will be in the next two hours, prepare yourself to work on another project.”, He said and they bowed.
“Nevaeh see me in my office now.”, He said.
“Nevaeh!!!”, He called again, surprised and everyone stared at her to respond to harry.
“Why are you all looking at me? I wasn’t the one that scolded you all?”, She said.
“Mr Harry is talking to you.”, Leon said and she turned to him.
“Nevaeh see me in my office now.”, He repeated.
“Oh I’m Nevaeh.”, She muttered and followed him.
“See I told you guys that Mr Harry was the one who dumped her, she didn’t want to answer him.”

“Were you able to break up with him yesterday? I can’t wait to finally announce our relationship in public.”, He said as he wrapped his hands on heaven’s waist.
“I wasn’t able to break up with him, I still need some time to do that.”, She said as she removed his hand from her body.
“But what you did was dangerous, why did you force him to go out? You know that will only ruin the company’s reputation right? But don’t worry dad has removed it from the net.”, He said and heaven wondered what he was saying.
“I want to kiss you right now.”, He said as he moved closer and heaven subconsciously pushed his face away, causing him to lose his balance and fall hard on his butt.
“I’m sorry, I am not feeling too well today.”, She said and he just stared at her confused.
“What’s wrong Nevaeh? You are acting weird today, even if you are sick, it hasn’t stopped me from touching you.”, He said and heaven gasped.
“You have slept with Nevaeh?”, She asked shocked and Harry looked at her confused.
“I mean — you slept with me even when I haven’t broken up with my boyfriend? Anyways forget what I just asked. My sickness is making me to lose my mind.”, She said and left the office.
“What’s wrong with her?”, Harry wondered.
*** Meeting room ***
“These are the list of people under Mr Rowan.”, Harry said and everyone looked tensed and heaven wondered why they were like that.
“Am I supposed to look tensed too?”, She wondered looking confused.
“Leon, Ruby, Mrs Janice and Nevaeh.”, Harry said and the people that were called all broke down.
“You will be under Rowan for the next five months until the completion of the project and then you return back to the main office.”, Harry said and mention everyone to their respective superiors.
“Mr Harry please I don’t want to be under cold monster, please put me under you.”, Leo said holding Harry’s leg.
“Yes please change me.”, Mrs Janice said.
“And me too.”, Ruby said holding Harry’s hand.
“And me too.”, Heaven said as everyone waited for her to talk too.
“I’m sorry but there’s nothing I can do, I didn’t create this list. So just bear for 5 months till the project is over.”, Harry said looking at heaven.
“The bus that will take you to his office will arrive in the next 30 minutes, so please pack up and take all the important things you need, Rowan is already aware that you guys are coming over.”, Harry said and left.
“Oh God! Should I just quit this job and starve to death? I would rather die than work with cold monster.”, Leon said.
“I heard that he doesn’t smile at all.”, Mrs Janice said.
“Is that so?”, Heaven asked and they turned to stare at her.
“Shouldn’t we be asking you that? Aren’t you his girlfriend? Why aren’t you sad? Do you now like cold monster?”
“Of course not, I’m really sad but I just don’t like showing it.”, Heaven replied.
“Is it true that he always has his mask on? Has he removed his mask in front of you?”, Ruby asked and they all gathered around heaven.
“He wears a mask? Why?”, She replied.
“Aren’t you Nevaeh? You are the fake Nevaeh right?”
“Come-on guys, I was just playing tricks with you. It is just a joke, I’m really Nevaeh, don’t you believe me?”, She said and laughed nervously.
“No we don’t.”, They chorused and heaven gritted her teeth.
“Should I prove it then?”, She asked expecting them to say no.
“Yes.”, They said and she clenched her fist.
“You are Leon Ruby, Mrs Janice.”, She said pointing to each of them.
“So do you believe now?”, She asked.
“Our names are on our id card.”, Mrs Janice said and they all looked at her.
“That’s quite easy, you know?”
“Pack your things, the bus will soon arrive.”, She said and ran away.
“Gosh! I’m going crazy.”, Heaven said.
