This was the second time, he was getting mad at them.
“Me Rowan, the chairman is calling.”, Mr James said and Rowan collected the phone and went inside.
“Why is he so mad anyway? He’s so proud, I can’t believe that I am really scared of him when he’s mad.”, Heaven said and rolled her eyes.
“He’s so hot “, Ruby said drooling and Leon just hit her head.
“Weren’t you so scared earlier?”, He reminded and she hissed.
“I apologize on behalf of Mr Rowan, it is just that he is not used to all these.”, Mr James said.
“We wouldn’t have come here if we weren’t drunk, who does he think he is to take to us anyhow?”, Mrs Janice said a bit offended.
“Mr Rowan isn’t like that, it is just that ….he hasn’t gotten to you guys being here with him and he probably got so mad because of that cake.”, Mr James.
“What’s so special about that cake anyway?”, Leon asked.
“It’s for his birthday.”, James replied.
“He can just order another one.”, Heaven said.
“He baked it himself to celebrate it himself, he doesn’t like buying things outside. That’s why he rarely orders food, he cooks by himself.”
“How does he celebrate his birthday? Since he doesn’t like going near people, so does he celebrate it alone then?”, Ruby asked and James nodded.
“When is his birthday?”, Heaven asked.
“The day after tomorrow.”, He replied.
“I have spoken to him, you can leave now.”, Rowan said handing the phone back to James.
“Do you need anything before I leave?”
“I need to bake a new cake, can you please get me what I need? After today, you can take a week break.”, Rowan said.
“A week? Is…!”
“I have everything I need already, it’s just a week.”, He added.
“Thank you Mr Rowan.”, He said and left.
Rowan turned back to the four people that he was scolding earlier and they immediately looked down immediately.
“All of you should clean up the mess and then go back to wash up.”, He said and left and immediately they all glared at Leon.
“You created this mess right?”, Ruby asked, reading to punch him.
“We should just teach him a lesson.”, Heaven said trying to escape, she wanted Leon to be punished alone after the both of them created the mess.
“Wait! I admit that I am at fault but Nevaeh is too, we were both smashing it on each other.”, Leon said and the smile on heaven’s face disappeared immediately they turned to look at her.
“But Leon was the one that led us to the kitchen in the first, all these wouldn’t have happened if he didn’t go to the kitchen right?”, Heaven said.
“She’s right Mrs Janice, Leon is the cause of this.”, Ruby said and Leon already started to plan his escape route.
“This is all your fault.”, They said and went after him and started beating him when they caught up with him.
They stopped when they saw Rowan glaring at them.
“What is still doing here? Gosh he’s so scary when he is mad.”, heaven thought.
“We were just about to clean the mess up.”, Heaven said and glared at him.
“Did you just glare at me Nevaeh?”, He asked and heaven faked a laugh.
“How can I possibly do that? It was just a friendly stare.”, She replied with a fake smile.
“You said that you never had a boyfriend and you don’t want to die a virgin earlier.”, He said.
“When did I say that?”, She asked and then remembered when she said that when she thought that they were getting kidnapped.
“We will go and clean it up now.”, Mrs Janice said and they quickly ran off leaving heaven.
“I need to clean up now.”, She said and he drew her back.
“What am I to you?”, He asked and heaven just started crying inwardly.
“Wasn’t he mad at me earlier? Why is he suddenly acting calm?”, She thought.
“Answer me Nevaeh.”, He demanded and heaven tried thinking of what to say.
“Let’s talk later, I really need to clean the mess I created.”, She said and he didn’t let go.
“Why can’t you answer me? Is it because I yelled at you? So that’s why you won’t talk to me.”, He asked.
“Yes I’m angry because of that, so just let me go.”, She said trying to escape.
“I’m sorry.”, He said and she looked at him in disbelief.
Wait! He just apologized even when she was the one who did something stupid to annoy him.
“You have never considered me your boyfriend right? Was I just the only one in love for you to say that you have never had a boyfriend?”, He asked and heaven just sighed.
“Of course you are my boyfriend, I’m sorry for saying that I never had a boyfriend. It must have upset you so much.”, She said.
“I was more upset about that than the cake, I thought you were ashamed of having me as your boyfriend. I know that things are different between us but I will try to win you back completely.”, He said and heaven smiled bitterly.
“Always wear your necklace, I want to see it on you.”, He said and she just nodded.
“So I will go back now.”, She said about to leave when he pulled her back.
“I want to kiss you badly.”, He said and her eyes widened.
“Everyone will be watching, we can’t be doing this here.”, She said as an excuse.
“Then let’s go to the room.”, He said and she froze.
“I’m doomed.”, She muttered.
“No it won’t be fair to them, I caused the mess do I have to help them.”, She said.
“Why are you so nervous? It’s just a kiss, it is not as if I want to sleep with you.”, He said and her heart really started racing.
“Is it okay for me to borrow Nevaeh for a while?”, He asked Mrs Janice, ruby and Leon.
“Please say no.”, Heaven pleaded inwardly.
“Yeah! It’s totally fine, after all she is your girlfriend. You should time with her.”, Mrs Janice said and heaven clenched her fist.
“Yes it is okay.”, Leon said.
“But ….!”, She didn’t complete her statement when Rowan kissed her again.
Leon was tempted to laugh but he managed to keep a straight face.
“I’m rooting for your Rowan.”, Leon said happily but the look on heaven’s face made him change his happy face to his normal face.
“I am so jealous of her.”, Ruby muttered.
“Let’s go.”, He said.
“Thanks for letting me spend time with Rowan.”, She said with a smile trying to hide her bitterness.
“You are welcome.”, Leon said and winked.
“Heaven what are you going to do now?”, She kept thinking.
