The murmuring sounds increased, she couldn’t hear a single thing from what they were saying because they were all talking at the same time.
She focused her gaze at Kaleb who was staring back at her with a joyful smile on his face.
When she finally got to the alter which took like hours, she turned face to face with him.
The chief proceeded with the union, joining them together as husband and wife.
After a brief applause, it was time for the coronation. Two golden crown was brought, one big and the other at it’s medium size. They were placed on a foam like tray.
The chief took the biggest crown, walking towards Kaleb. He raises the crown high, to the sight of everyone who had come to witness.
“Upon this day, I hereby declare. By the power vested in me, I crown you, Kaleb Rutherford, King of Moon Stone pack. ” He lowers the crown on Kaleb’s head.
” All hail the king!” He exclaimed.
“All hail the king!!!” They all hailed in unison.
He takes the other crown, walking towards Theodora. He did the same, raising it high. He declared. “Upon this day, I hereby declare. By the power vested in me…”
He paused by the sudden sound like an earthquake. Everyone marvelled in fear as they glared around.
“What was that sound?” Was the continuous questions. ” What’s happening? ”
Then everywhere grew still like before. “Continue.” Kaleb urged him.
“By the power vested in m…” The sound seemed louder this time.
“Guards, check that out.” He ordered.
The two guards at the door went out to check what it was. Theodora was still as if she knew what was going on and where the sound was coming from.
Kaleb turns to the chief, “You know what, just crown her already.”
“I crown you, Theodora Van Amstel, queen of Moon Stone pack. ” He drops the crown on her head. ” All hail the queen!! ”
” All hail the queen! All hail the queen!! ” The chief raises their both hands high as the congregations kept hailing joyfully.
Kaleb wore the widest smile on his face as if he had just kissed the feet of Jesus Christ. He took hold of Theodora’s hand, dropping a kiss on it.
“My Lady.”
She forced herself to smile. “My Lord.” She bowed her head.

The last of the flower has finally fallen, the glass which protected it broke in pieces, shattering to the ground.
He woke from his slumber, breathing in as much air as his nostrils could carry.
A smile smirk played on his lips. Finally, the day has come. The very day he has longed wished for. The day of his freedom.
He growled, breaking the chains from the wall that they fell to the ground.
He grabbed the left chain, tearing it off his arm, and he did the same to the rest of the chains, twisting his necks at both sides.
“I. AM. FREED!!” He rowled. “Kaleb.” He called the name with so much anger and hatred. “I am coming for you.”
He found himself in the same room the witch had cursed him, but he was still in his beast form.
Like a twinkle star, they surrounded him, moving around his body until he was back in his human form.
He stared at his body like he has just been newly created. He has so much missed this part of him.
He walked out of the room and out of the building. He sniffed in hard, exhaling heavily. He did it again and again.
“Kaleb.” He cursed.
He transformed into a wolf, dashing through the forest in a great speed.
At the gate of the palace, the guards tried stopping him, but he slaughtered them in a second.
He made his way into the fortress. Other guards who had witnessed what he just did, gave way for him to walk in.
He headed straight way to the ceremonial hall where the ceremony still went on.
Kaleb was staring into her eyes. He walks a step closer, then another that he covered the gap between them.
He was halfway close to her lips when the door banged open, catching the attention of everyone.
“He is here!!” Cried the guard who walked in. “The beast, he is here!!”
They came a loud gasp and terrified murmurs.
” Silent!! ” He commanded, and there was an instant silent.
The loud sound of the heavy movement of the beast echoed as it drew near. Kaleb’s grip on Theodora was firm as if he was scared he’d take her.
Theodora tried holding herself and keeping a straight face. After all, she was finally going to see the beast, the man she had always hoped for. The one person who had control of her mind.
The heavy footsteps became mild like that of a normal man. The guards tried stopping him but was stopped rather by a reason no one knows.
Or maybe, that’s because of how frightful he looked.
They gave way for him to enter. There was a great silence among the audience.
No one could recognize the long cursed prince but Kaleb alone. Even Theodora couldn’t believe her eyes.
What she was staring at wasn’t just the ugly frightening creature in the cave, she was actually staring at a demigod in a human form.
One won’t believe he was actually the cursed beast history did talk about. But the anger, hatred was obviously written on his face.
And Theodora knew her days has been number. She was finally going to embrace death.
“Hello, brother.” He said, in a deep voice.
” Hello, Raymond. It’s been a long time. ” He smiled. But nothing seemed funny at that. ” It’s a poor thing you’re late. You missed a lot of interesting part, I’d say. But nevertheless, you’re highly welcomed. ”
” I am not here for the gestures, Kaleb. ”
” I know, you’re here for the throne. As you can see, it’s mine now. “He smirked. ” Look I wish we can have this conversation right now, but I’m sorry to say this, I’m a little busy. So, maybe next time will do. ”
” You have seven days to take off that crown… willingly. But if you insist on proving stubborn, then I’ll be ready to have that nice conversation with you.” He threatened, moving his gaze to Theodora whose gaze haven’t left him since he walked in.
He takes it off, then back at Kaleb. “I’ll be back.”
He left, without causing a scene.
