CHAPTER 56&57: NIGHTMARES/ VISION.

The day did went well, it still was a mystery to what brought about the plastic statue and the closed door.
Though no one can tell who it was, yet Theodora’s heart hasn’t been at rest since then.
She sat on the bed thinking and rethinking over the event. And worst still, her so-called guardian angel won’t show up and make things easier for her.
Raymond looked so much exhausted, for the first time since they got married, he was returning to bed way early than expected.
All Theodora did was to stare at him as he walked into the bathroom to have a shower, even as he walked out, they didn’t say a word to each other.
She was wondering if he has somehow come to know about the truth. Honestly, he was acting weird.
She was drumming her fingers on the bed while she waited for him to leave the shower.
He still did keep the quiet face at her. He dried up his skin, then went to lay down.
All she did is to watch.
“Ray?” She called.
“Mm-hmm.” He hummed.
“You look quiet tonight, is there a problem?” She asked.
“No, I’m just tired.” He say.
” Is it about earlier? I mean the witch stuff?” She asked.
” Not just that.”
” What else?”
“I don’t know”
“You don’t know?”
“Yes, I don’t know” he said, almost in a yell. ” There are lot of things going on in the fortress, and those people, they all rely on me. First, Kaleb’s government brought nothing but confusion and now… it’s all about a witch in the house. Right now, I don’t know what to think of, I feel like there’s a lot to do.”
” We can solve it together. Talking about a witch in the building, do you think it’s real?”
” Do you think it’s not?” He asked back.
” Of course, I think it is not. We can’t go ahead believing there is a witch when we haven’t seen one.”
” But the guards saw a sign”
” Doesn’t mean they did see one. We don’t know if they are hallucinating or something, let’s not jump into conclusion yet, okay?”
” I’m just tired.” He said. ” I’m stressed out of this whole Sh|t already.”
” Come here,” she pulled him to herself, placing his head on her chest. “You need some rest.”
She rubbed his hair in her fingers continuously until he dozed off. She still didn’t want to tell him about her new found powers.

The cloud grew dark, droplets of rain began to fall. Theodora stood outside the fortress, watching the sky.
“Babe, look at the cloud.” She said to Raymond who was having a serious conversation with someone. “Ray?” She called again.
“Give me a minute, sweetheart.” He said.
Theodora noticed the cloud was becoming more darker, covering the moon. ” What the heck is going on with the weather?”
The rain began to fall heavily, she looked at Raymond’s direction but he wasn’t there anymore, and not even the one he was having the conversation with.
“Ray? Raymond!!” She called. “Raymond, where are you?” She followed the direction he was, then all of a sudden every thing vanished from the surface of the earth.
Everywhere was black and empty, all she could get in return was the echo of her voice reflecting back at her and the sound of water below her feet.
“Hello? Hello, is there anybody here?”
“Mom, no! Mom you said you were gonna take care of me, you said no one is leaving each other’s side, but now you’re gone. You and dad are gone. ” She heard the familiar voice of a girl.
Walking to the direction, she was shocked to see herself kneeling before two dead bodies. She walked more closer to it to see it was her parents.
Then she heard a cry from another direction. “Camila, no!!”
She rushed to hold Camila’s hand but she vanished like smoke. “Camila!!” She cried. “What’s this place?! Someone take me out of here!! Someone get me out of…!” She fell to her knees.
” Turn to your right. “She turned, like the voice just controlled her.
There she saw Sophie in the same attire in her previous vision walking to nowhere. But then a door appeared, the same door to her room.
“No. No, no, no, no, no, no.” She ran as fast as she can but Sophie held her by the neck, slamming her to the wall which was actually what surprised Theodora the most.
She could feel the pain of the hard surface on her back but there was actually no wall.
She groaned. “Let me go.”
“You want me to let you go? You think sneacking into the multi universe will hide you from me, huh? You just haven’t learned, I’m a witch.”
” I don’t think I’m interested in that. I want you to leave my husband alone. ”
” Speaking of the devil, does he know what you are?” She asked.
” You can at least let your hands off my neck if you want a goddamn answer.” She lets go off her. Theodora choked, coughing loud.
” So tell me, does he?” She repeated.
“He’s gonna find out but not now. And when he does, I’m gonna make sure he watches you die too.”
Sophie laughed. ” You’re kidding me, aren’t you?”
” Fuçk you. ” She spat on her face.
Sophie wiped it off with her hand.” You’re gonna regret this, Bîtch.” She wasn’t touching her but she was actually strangling her hard.
Theodora was choking, her face had already turned red, her eyes silently closing itself. And when she opened her eyes again, “I said, let go off me!!”
She screamed, her voice so loud and strong that it pushed Sophie to the ground. Sophie tried standing to her feet but couldn’t, the voice slowly pierced through her skin until she was out in the thin air.
She stopped screaming, gasping softly.
As if that wasn’t enough, someone or something grabbed her hair. It rose her high, turning her to look into it’s eyes.
Before she could struggle free from this huge ugly figure, it pierced it’s hand into her chest, pulling off her heart from it’s chamber.
She gaped, staring at her heart beating heavily in its grip.
