Etta and Vesper got to the Mansion and met their mom speaking with one of the King’s subjects, they greeted them and they responded. Vesper was about to go upstairs when his mother called him, he answered then sat down next to her.
“What is it, mom?” He asked.
“I heard you fought in college, why?” She asked, with a frown
“I’m sorry, mom…it was Damon fault” He said as he sat down on the sofa.
“You guys were best friends before, why are you guys fighting now? Can you please tell me what happened between you guys so that you can sort it out” She said and he shook his head then he went upstairs.
Getting to his room, he lay down on the bed and stared at the ceiling. He was immersed deeply in his thoughts when Etta came in, she called him but he didn’t hear. She walked towards him and tapped him.
“Bro” She called.
“What do you want? Didn’t I warn you not to barged into my room again?” He questioned with a frown.
“I knocked but you didn’t hear,,, what’s wrong with you? You have to totally change, Is everything alright? Please …”
Her sentence was interrupted.
“Can you stop asking all those questions? Why are you here?” He asked, gazing at her.
“Mom asked me to call you for lunch” She muttered.
“Okay, you may leave” He said.
She rolled her eyeball then left. Immediately he left, Vesper got down on the bed, he undressed his shirt then wrapped a towel on his waist, he entered the washroom to take a shower. Not long after he was done, he got dressed and left the room, he got to the living room and met his mother and sister already eating.
“Vesper, what have you been doing upstairs? I sent you sister to call you since and you’re just coming” His mom said with a frown.
“Mom, I’m so tired right,,, let’s eat” He said as he sat down.
His mom nodded and glanced at his sister.
“What’s wrong with him?” She whispered into Etta’s ear.
“I don’t know” Etta replied.
“Can you guys stop whispering and let’s eat?” He said and sipped from the blood in his glass cup.
His mother glared at him and continued eating. Minutes later, they were done eating, they heard a knock on the door.
“Are you expecting someone, mom?” Etta asked, facing their mom.
“No, what about you Vesper?” She asked, gazing at him.
“No” He shook his head.
Etta stood up and went to open the door, she met the King’s guards standing in front of him, they greeted her and she responded by nodding her head.
“The King asked us to give you this invitation” One of the guards said.
“Okay” She muttered and collected the invitation.
The guards left, she locked the door and gave the invitation to her mom.
“What’s this?” Ms. Luna asked as she opened the invitation.
“I don’t know” She replied as she sat down beside Vesper.
“Ohh, the king wants to do a welcome party for that human lady tomorrow night” Ms. Luna said.
Vesper and Etta both glanced at their mother.
“Why a welcome party? I thought they said she is getting married to Damon soon, why are they doing a welcome for that weak human” She said with anger lamed in her voice.
“Why are you so angry? You guys should be nice to her… do you think she is happy for coming here, she was forced” Ms. Luna said.
“Mom, why are you siding with her? You know I love Damon and now he is getting married to that witch” She said.
“Etta, I told you to get rid of the feelings for that idiot… you can’t marry him” Vesper said and she scoffed.
“Why would you tell me to get rid of the feelings I have for my crush? You also should get rid of the feelings you have for the human…I know what you did yesterday’s night at the club” She said, glaring at him.
“Club? Do you guys sneak out again” Ms.Lun asked.
She bit her lips and looked away, Ms. Luna frowned as she sat down opposite them.
“Mom, we are sorry” She apologised but Vesper stood up and was about to leave when Ms.Luna called him.
“What is it? Mom, I am a guy, she should be the one not to sneak out again… I’m going to my room” Vesper said.
Before his mom could say something, he left.
“He is so stubborn just like his dad” Ms.Luna muttered.
“Mom, I’m feeling sleepy … can I go to my room?” Etta asked, gazing at her.
She nodded and Etta hugged her then went to her room.

At night, Tilley was in her room and was about to sleep when Damon came in. Immediately she saw him, she frowned, her mind drifted to what he did to her, she held her neck.
“What are you doing here?” She asked with a frown.
“Father asked me to sleep with you tonight” He replied.
“What? No” She shook her head.
“Do you think I also want to sleep with you? You even irritated me…I don’t like you” He said, glaring at her.
“I also don’t like you,,, Vesper is more handsome than you” She said.
Immediately she mentioned Vesper, he moved closer to her with speed and grabbed her hand.
“Don’t you dare mention his name, if you do I am gonna kill you” He said and pushed her on the floor.
“Damon” She called with anger.
“Don’t you dare call my name, sleep there” He said.
She got angry and also pushed him away with all her strength, Damon stared at her in anger. He was about to hit her when his mind drifted to what his father said.
“If she complains to me about you, I won’t give you the title of the crown prince”
“Oh Sh|t” He muttered and got down on the bed.
Tilley was surprised when he moved to the floor, she sighed and called him.
“Damon, let’s sleep together” She said and bit her upper lips.
Damon stared at her and scoffed.
“You thought I would sleep with you,,, no, are you not even scared that I might suck your blood?” He asked, gazing at her.
“You dare not” She muttered then she slept.
An hour later, in the middle of the night Damon was sitting beside the window, staring at the moon when he saw Tilley shivering, he moved closer to her and took the duvet then covered her body.
“She looks pretty though but she is very stubborn” He thought as he stared at her.
He was about to lay down next to her when she opened her eyes.

“What are you doing?” Tilley asked.
“I…I…was”
“Stop stuttering and tell me what you are doing here…wait, do you really wanna suck my blood?” She asked, covering her neck with the duvet.
He rubbed his hand on his hair and turned to her with a frown.
“Hey, I’m not. You were shivering so I covered you with the duvet” He said.
“Ohh, thanks…can you please get down on the bed?” She muttered.
He nodded slowly and got down on the bed, he sat down next to the window, Tilley couldn’t sleep so she brought out her phone to play game.
“Who bought you the phone?” Damon asked.
“Mom… I mean your mom” She replied, not taking her eyes off the phone.
“Okay” He nodded.
Some minutes later, Tilley was already asleep with the phone on her chest, he took the phone and dropped it on the table next to her then jumped out through the window.
Not long after, he got to Gold’s Mansion, he poured himself a glass cup of blood and gulped it.
“I’m so thirsty… Gold, why would father want me to sleep with her? He knows a vampire and a human can never be together” He said as he poured himself another glass cup of blood.
“I think he wants you and her to get closer but Damon I think you are already falling for her” Gold said.
“Hell, no way!” He shook his head and Gold chuckled.
“Damon, the lady is really pretty…I wish I could have her” Gold said.
His mind drifted to her and he smiled.
“Bro, you are even smiling. I think i’m right, you are in love with her” Gold mumbled.
“Gold, don’t you dare repeat what you said, you know I detest humans…I don’t even want them near me” He said and Gold rolled his eyes.
“When are you leaving? You know the king mustn’t know you are here” Gold asked, gazing at him.
“Are you sending me out of your Mansion?” He asked.
“Ye…No, why would I” Gold stuttered.
“If you say so” He muttered.
“Damon, do you like Melinda and is that the reason why you don’t want to get married to Tilley?” Gold questioned.
“No, why would I like that b***h? She is a slut… I don’t like Tilley that was the reason why I don’t want to get married to her” He said.
“Stop deceiving yourself” His subconsciousness said.
“Yes, that’s true…what if I tell you I already have a night with her twice and you don’t know” Gold said.
“What? And she accepted” He asked and Gold nodded.
Damon proceeded to the stairs when Gold’s voice stopped him. It made him stop on his track, and Gold moved closer to him.
“Where are you? Have you forgotten you can’t sleep here” Gold questioned.
“Oh Sh|t” He muttered.
Gold chuckled, he hit his hand on the wall and left his Mansion. Getting back to the palace, he made sure the guards didn’t see him, he headed straight to Tilley’s room and lay down next to her then he dozed off.
The Following Morning***
Tilley was still sleeping when Damon woke up, he stared at her and couldn’t take his eyes of her, he pecked her cheek and was about to got down on the bed when Gigi entered.
“Brother” Gigi called.
“Keep quiet, she is still sleeping” He whispered as he got down on the bed.
“What are you doing here?” Gigi asked in a whisper.
“Father asked me to sleep with her or else he won’t give the title of the crown prince so I had no choice” He sighed.
“Huh? So you guys spent the night together” Gigi asked and he nodded slowly.
“Seriously, I hope you didn’t do anything to her?” She said, gazing at him.
“What will I do to her? I can’t do anything to her because she is in the palace, I can’t hurt her” He said as he walked out.
Gigi nodded. Not long after Damon left the room, Gigi climbed onto the bed and shouted into Tilley’s ear.
“Gigi, can you stop this, I need to sleep” She said, still closing her eyes.
“Princess, it’s morning so you need to wake up” Gigi said.
She groaned as she opened her eyes, her mind drifted to Damon, she looked at the floor and didn’t see him, she sighed in relief.
“What’s wrong?” Gigi asked.
“When did he leave?”
“Who?” Gigi asked, gazing at her.
“Your brother, or do you want to tell me you don’t see him” She replied.
“He already left” Gigi muttered.
“I’m so happy he left, I don’t know the reason why the king asked him to come here” She said as she got down on the bed.
“Let’s forget about him… how was your night?” Gigi asked.
“Not really good” She immediately replied and Gigi chuckled.
She scoffed and undressed her pyjamas, she wrapped a towel on her body.
“Today is the weekend so why are you here instead of Blair and Nana?” She asked.
“Mom, want to change your maid” Gigi said and she turned back.
“No, she shouldn’t…I prefer NaNa and Blair” She shook her head.
“Okay, when you are done bathing we would go and meet her“ Gigi said.
“Okay” She muttered and went to the washroom.
Some minutes later, she was done so she came out of the washroom and got dressed. As soon as she was done dressing they left the room.
“Mom planned a welcome party for you and it’s tonight” Gigi said as they were walking.
“A welcome party? I don’t need it” She said.
“Instead you should be happy that they wanna do a welcome party for you… very soon, you will be getting married to my brother” Gigi smiled.
“What do you mean? Do you think I like your cold hearted brother? He is so mean” She scoffed.
“Tilley, between my brother and you I don’t know who is so stubborn” Gigi said when they got to Queen Felicia’s room.
“It’s Damon” Queen Felicia said and Tilley smiled.
She tickled her tongue out, Queen Felicia chuckled.
“You guys behave like kids” Queen Felicia said and they shook their heads.
“Okay, why are you guys here?” Queen Felicia asked, gazing at them.
“Mom, don’t want you to change her maids” Gigi said.
“Is that true, Tilley?” Queen Felicia asked.
“Yes, I prefer Blair and Nana” She said.
“Okay, if that’s what you want… it’s the weekend so you guys aren’t going to lectures today, let’s go to the dining and have our breakfast” Queen Felicia said and they smiled.
“Mom, Damon slept in Tilley’s room yesterday’s night” Gigi whispered as they walked out of the room.
“Shh…”
“I know about it, Gigi” Queen Felicia said.
Tilley smacked her head.
“Ouch!” Gigi screamed and she chuckled.
