He was forced to let go of Vee’s hair, and at the same time, Vee’s second hand went to the mask on his face.
He was about to pull it off when a loud bang sounded on the door, distracting him.
He turned back to have a look, and Vodka took the opportunity to break free from him, pushing him away roughly.
Vee landed on the ground with a loud thud, hurting his shoulders again.
“Füçk it!” He groaned as Vodka dashed out of the studio through the other door.
He spranged up and ran after him, but he was already gone when he got to the door.
“Sh|t!” Vee spat and made to run out maybe he’d still get him.
“Stop! Vee come back! Let him go Jazzy is dying!” Daniel shouted from inside, and he turned back, running to him.
Jazzy was already unconscious, so they jointly carried him out of the studio.
Immediately they got out, cops arrived and surrounded the whole studio, combing everywhere.
Jazzy was taken into the ambulance brought by the cops, and Daniel followed them to the hospital while Vee stayed with the cops who’re still searching the building.
No trace of the masked man was found, not even a single hair.
“Why did you guys come here in the first place?” A cop asked.
“To meet Jazzy’s ex, she called to meet here and we followed him in case of necessity” Vee replied.
“His ex?”
“Yes. Rhapsody Bang, the soloist” Vee said.
“And where is she?”
“We didn’t see her, we got attacked instead with a gun and a knife” Vee replied.
“We found Rhapsody!” One of the cops searching the studio rushed out to report, and Vee rushed in with the other cops.
Truly, Rhapsody is in the studio, lying almost unconsciously in a dark corner.
She has a knife stuck in her stomach, and she’s bleeding.
“Get the stretcher!” The commander shouted, and some of the cops rushed out to get it.
“I… I was … Attacked…by the…. masked…man …too” she said before losing consciousness completely.
She was lifted onto the stretcher which was wheeled into the ambulance too, and Vee continued standing on his spot in confusion.
The knife in her stomach looks very different from the one with the masked man earlier.
Is it possible for an assassin to bring two knives for a mission?
All that got him thinking as he stood, and no matter how much he thought about it, it just doesn’t make any sense, and he had to just keep quiet cos people might start seeing him as heartless if he tells them he suspects Rhapsody right now.
Why is it that the attack happened immediately they got to the studio when she invited them?
How did the masked criminal know they’d be meeting there tonight? How did he even know there’s a backdoor in the studio to escape through earlier?
“Füçk, this is insane” Vee muttered, and a cop joined him.
“Anything else about what happened? Heard you fought bravely with the assassin” he said.
“I perceived a scent from him though, and I think I’ve perceived it somewhere before but I don’t know where yet, I’ll be sure to get back to you when I remember” Vee replied, and he nodded simply.
“Vee!” Manager Bae rushed into the studio, and the cop led them out.
“How did you find out?” Vee asked surprisingly.
“How? It’s everywhere in the news already! Jung Jazzy of TRUE LOVE, Kang Daniel of H. O. T and Hwang Vee of VIXXEN were attacked at the oldest studio in Seoul. The news is on fire right now and the fans of you three are already dragging the cops to do the right thing and capture the assassin very soon” Mr. Bae said.
“I never wanted it to get out to the public” Vee sighed.
“Why didn’t you come with the guards? What did I always tell you about it Vee? How can three leaders of important K-pop bands in Seoul come to a place like this without guards! Vee!” Mr. Bae shouted.
“Never knew this was gonna happen, and also you know I love privacy” Vee replied, and Manager Bae’s hands went akimbo.
“You’ll never listen to anyone, will you? You might look gentle but your face is all a lie, you’re the most stubborn person I’ve ever encountered” he said, and Vee smiled as another car stopped in front of the studio.
Diva came out of it, and Mr. Bae entered his own car immediately.
“Bae!” Vee said surprisingly as she walked up to him and hugged him tightly.
“How did you get here?” He asked, hugging her back.
“I watched the news, and I got so scared. I went to the patrol unit and couldn’t find you, then I went to the hospital, there Jazzy told me you might still be here, so I came” she replied, hugging him tighter.
“Jazzy is awake?” He asked.
“Yeah, thankfully” she replied, and he began stroking her hair gently.
“Sorry I scared you” he smiled in relief.
“You’re not hurt, are you? Heard you fought the assassin” she said, breaking the hug to check him out.
“Only my shoulders hurt a bit, but I’d be fine. Your boyfriend is a good fighter yunno?” he smiled, and she hugged him again.
“I know, since elementary. Stop showing off” she muttered, and he chuckled.
“Thought you were here with someone” she said.
“Oh, it’s my manager…
Before he could talk more, Manager Bae drove off in his car, and they broke the hug.
“Wait….is he avoiding me?” She said.
“C’mon no. You’ll meet him someday anyways, let’s go” Vee replied and pulled her to the car she brought.
It’s her new car, but it was driven by Vee’s driver.
“You were at the mansion?” He asked her.
“Yeah, I was with Sara when I saw the news” she replied, and they got in the car together..

VODKA’S PLACE**
Over three electric fans are standing in the middle of Vodka’s legs, blowing hard on his swollen d_1ck while Min watched from a distance.
“Rhapsody was right after all. Your imagination didn’t come to pass. Things would have gone out of control if she didn’t bang the door to distract Vee, and it’d have been worse if she didn’t stab herself to make it look like you attacked her too” he said.
“The plans got ruined the moment Jazzy showed up with Daniel and Vee, and I won’t go easy on those two, d@mn it!” Vodka replied, bringing the fans closer to his d_1ck
“I think you should get it treated, this is the second time you got attacked on your manhood, I’m afraid it might stop working” Min said, and Vodka groaned in pains when he made to talk.
“And also…I don’t think Jazzy is the one sending the threatening messages, even the doctors we killed are innocent” Min continued, and Vodka frowned.
“What do you mean?”
“You left your phone when you went for the attack remember? And you got a message from that same number during that period” Min said, giving vodka the phone.
Vodka took it quickly and read the text.
• I see you’re killing the innocent just to cover up your dirty secrets, but yunno what? I’m the alpha of everything cos I know all what you’re trying to keep. I didn’t plan to start this early, but what should I do? I’m broke at the moment and if you don’t want your secret out at your show next week, get stacks of cash ready, I mean…big bags of money!
Vodka’s eyes widened immediately, and he spranged up.
“I got the same message” Min said, showing him his phone screen.
“Judging by the mode of texting and the choices of words, this person is a girl” he said, and Vodka’s eyes widened more.

SAME NIGHT, MORGUE**
Fave came in wearing the cap and mask as usual, and she met the attendant waiting for her in the hallway already.
“What did you see again?” She asked, and he took her into the room where Byeol’s body is.
“Another big bang!” He said and brought out a flashdrive.
“I found this in her body after conducting an x-ray, and I had to dissect her to get it out, I think she swallowed it when she was still alive, and it obvious contains a huge information” he smiled, and Fave took it from him.
They went to his office and inserted it into his laptop.
There’s just one video in the the drive, and she clicked play. Byeol’s face came to view.
“I dunno what might happen in the future, and that’s why I’m making this video. My name is Byeol Wang, and i got R@PED by Terri Gil, popularly known as Vodka four years ago during my freshman year in college. He came to perform during the freshmen party, and I had gotten drunk. I went to the restroom to pee, and that was when he took advantage. He has been threatening me since then, and I had to keep quiet as a result of fear. The bite mark on his neck is the only evidence I can provide, I gave him that mark that night. And this might be shocking to everyone out there, but I found out he’s older than he claimed. Vodka turned 40 this year. His young face is as a result of multiple surgeries each year, contact Doctor Harland at the American PS hospital for more evidence, he’s the doctor in charge of his surgeries”
“What the hell!!!!!” The attendant screamed after the video ended.
He fell on his butt shockingly, pointing at the screen.
“No… wait… Vodka is…40 years old!!!!” He screamed.
Fave kept sitting, smiling knowingly at the screen.
Now this is getting more interesting.

SEOUL CITY HOSPITAL**
Lyric heard the news late. She was already asleep when Freddy woke her to tell her, so she rushed to the hospital straight from the dorm.
Jazzy is in bed, and Daniel is beside him, both looking surprised when they saw her come in.
“Piper said you were already asleep and I told her not to wake you” Jazzy said.
“It was Freddy” she replied and walked to his bedside.
“Gwaenchana?” She asked worriedly, sniffing like she’d cry.
“Don’t start crying please… don’t” he said, and she nodded fast.
“It’s just so annoying, so upsetting that you have to live like this for life. You get the attack at any slight shock and it’s so very annoying” she said, and the tears finally fell
“I knew it, Lyric can you stop already?” Jazzy said, and Daniel pulled her to himself.
He brought her between his legs and began wiping her tears gently.
“Stop crying cutie, he’s fine now” he said, hugging her after he finished wiping.
“Heard Rhapsody is in this same hospital” he said, still hugging her.
“I don’t care wh@tëver happens to her. She caused all this anyways. There’s no better way to end it than this, now she won’t even dare dial my number again” Jazzy replied, and Vee came in with Diva.
“King Kong!” Daniel teased, breaking the hug with Lyric. He brought her to sit on his laps though.
“Stop it” Vee laughed.
“I should have made friends with you a long time ago if I knew you fight that good” Jazzy said from the bed.
“Do you know the most interesting part?” Daniel said, and they all faced him.
“When he grabbed the D” he said, and Jazzy started laughing with Lyric, but Diva kept a straight face.
“He seriously grabbed the D?” Jazzy said.
“I swear , I’m sure the assassin will have a swollen middle by now, probably fanning it somewhere” Daniel laughed again.
“Why did the person want Jazzy dead ?” Lyric said.
“It’s not known yet, we have to wait for the cops investigation” Jazzy replied.
“But Rhapsody can’t be trusted completely though” Vee said, and they all faced him.
“Are you seriously suspecting her right now? She got stabbed too” Daniel said, and Vee sighed.
“Heard you hurt your shoulders” Jazzy said.
“I got it treated before coming here, don’t worry” Vee smiled.
“Thanks for saving my life once again, now you have nowhere to run to, even if I have to force you, you have to become my friend” Jazzy said, and Vee laughed.
“That’s true, let’s be BFF” Daniel said.
“Fine” Vee replied, and they started smiling at each other.
“Eonni, you’ve not been talking, are you fine?” Lyric asked Diva.
“I’m fine” she replied.

RHAPSODY’S WARD**
The stab wound got stitched already, and she’s currently conscious.
She’s pacing around the ward with a drip stand, biting the nails on her second hand nervously.
She was still on it when Vodka came in.
“Are you ok?” He asked, and she rushed to grab him by the collar.
“I told you your imagination is not gonna work, didn’t I? Do you know how painful it was to stab myself just to cover up? You’re a bastard!” She shouted.
“Calm down and listen to me! I got a threatening message, I don’t think Jazzy is the culprit” he replied, and she brought out her phone.
“I got it too! See? You’re not the only one suffering!” She shouted, showing him the screen.
“Instead of shouting, why don’t we figure out another means of catching this blackmailer. She’s surely a female” he said, and her eyes widened.
“What!”
“Yes, I’m very sure of it”

HWANG MANSION**
Vee and Diva got back some minutes ago, and he suddenly turned her face to himself when they entered his room.
“You’ve been acting strange, are you ok? Please tell me what’s up” he said, cupping her cheeks.
“Can you take off your shirt?” She asked straight, and his eyes widened.
He made to let go of her cheeks, but she held him back.
“Don’t let go, hold me and keep looking into my eyes” she whispered, and he stood still
“Show me the scars on your body, please” she whispered, wrapping her arms around him eventually.
“How did you…
“It’s not important Jun-ho, just… just show me the scars, huh? I’d love to kiss them” she whispered again , drawing him closer to kiss him slowly on the lips.
“I love you so much, and you know that” she whispered after breaking the kiss.
“And I love you too” he replied, and she smiled slightly.
“So stop keeping the scars and marks from me. No matter how ugly they are, I’ll love them like I love you, so please… baby show them to me” she said, and he swallowed nothing as she released him.
His hand went under his shirt, and he bunched them up in his palms before raising them up, taking it off at once.
Diva’s eyes widened immediately, and tears came out of them when she saw the big red and dark marks on his back. They’re so much over there, even his chest.
She covered her mouth with her palms as she cried, and Vee continued standing in front of her.
“Why didn’t you tell me?, why did you bear it all alone? You’ve been getting abused since you were a kid Vee. Sara told me everything! Your inability to swim was a lie right? It’s cos you never wanted me to see this, why did you allow yourself to get maltreated to this extent” she cried gently.
“I deserve it don’t you think? I’m not his son but yet his wife died because of me, and he allowed me in this mansion till I grew up like this. He takes care of me too soo…
“You don’t deserve it! No one deserves this treatment Vee! And this isn’t how to take care of a person!! Mr. Hwang is an animal!!!” She screamed painfully like she’s the one who has the marks on her body.
Before Vee could talk again, she already rushed out of the room.
Without minding his bare body, Vee rushed after her.
“Bae! Bae where are you going? Bae!”
They ran over the stairs together, but he still didn’t catch up till they got out, and when she made to open her car door, he pulled her back.
“Let go of me!, I’m gonna kill Mr. Hwang myself! He deserves to die in that hospital for doing this to you! Let go of me Vee!” She started struggling with him, and he eventually hugged her tightly.
She kept struggling, so he pinned her to the car and hugged her tighter on it, stroking her hair on his shoulder as her tears wet his bare body.
“I’m gonna kill him!!!, how could he do this to a human body!!! Leave me alone!! Please!!” She started struggling in tears again.
“I won’t let you go, so stop struggling” he replied, tightening his hold on her.
She started hiccupping as her wet eyes closed on his shoulder.
“Just kiss the scars, and I’d be fine” Vee whispered.
