Mrs. Brown slowly opened her eyes to see Karan with a gun and Alex laying lifelessly on the floor, turns out she’s the one that shot Alex
“Put it down now and step away,” Mrs. Brown ordered, knowing fully well that her daughter will be charged with homicide
Just when Karan return to her normal position cos she broke free from the rope holding her, the cops came in
They were guarded out of the place and into the already waiting car as they move straight to the hospital
Throughout the way, she keeps remembering everything that happened a few minutes ago

HOSPITAL*
Mrs. Brown was checked by the nurse and one of her squad members was with her
“It’s left for the GPR and everything will be over,” The person with her said
“And my girls? He didn’t…..
“No, he didn’t, they are with your husband and I will call him if you want,” he replied calmly
“No don’t… Don’t call him am fine,” she replied
“Are you sure counselor?” He asked
“Yeah,” she replied
A nurse came toward them
“You’re free to go,” the nurse said
“Did you have a lawyer to represent you or should we arrange one?” He asked and she gave him the puzzled look
“For what? Alex shot him,” she said
“The council wants to take account of what happened, will you be willing to testify?” He added
“And tell them what? Alex shot himself and I see no reason for me to testify,” she replied
“But they still need to hear your own story,” he added gently
“Fine, let’s go then,” she replied and stood up

“Counselor….. counselor,” a member of the council called
“Counselor,” the other called bringing her back from the imaginary world
She turned toward them
“You need a moment?” The first person asked
“No, am Sorry. what….what was the question?” She asked
“Did you at anytime notify anybody before going after Alex?” The first person asked
“I did not, from what Alex told me when he called I know that once he sees backup Olivia and Karan’s life will be in danger,” she replied
“And when you arrive at his location?” The second person asked
“Alex met me, took my gun, handcuffed me before taking me to where my girls were tied up, and then gave me a choice. He said that he can R@PE me first and Karen second or R@PE Karan first,” she replied
“And you responded?” The first person asked
“I told him to R@PE me,” she replied fighting back tears
“Did he R@PE you, counselor?” The second person asked
A moment of silence prevail as she started seeing the scan again
“Counselor?” The first person called seeing that she was lost in thought
“He did not,” she replied blinking severally
“Why not?” The first guy asked
“Because I decided not to offer any resistance, Alex got off on the struggle, so as soon as I gave up he got bored,” she replied simply
Someone open the Interview door and entered
“Counselor Gina,” one of the people interviewing her called
“I’ve been retained to represent counselor Brown and Gentlemen this interview is over,” Gina said standing by the door
“She’s already consented,” the first person said
“She and I need time to consult and she has 48 hours to make her statement, assuming I get the transcript of wh@tëver happened here today we will see you in 48 hours,” she said walking out and Mrs. Brown followed
They are now walking down the street
“If any of this goes to trial you will have to testify about that confession you made,” Gina said
“Trail?” She asked shocked
“You and I know the law Counselor, you beat Alex up in his office the other time, he said he died three times on his way to the hospital and now he’s dead, and to say that he was shot by his left side instead of the right, you told I.A.B( internal affairs bureau) a different story and your lab results says another thing, I think you need rest,” Gina said
“What did you want me to say? Go in there and tell them that I was R@PED by Alex? The same person that R@PED my daughter twice when I was in a coma. you have seen a R@PE victim Gina and you know what they look like, if I didn’t go there he will R@PE my 15 and 18 years old kids, they will be in pain for the rest of their life, I can’t let them pass through that, especially Karan, she’s been through a lot,” she said
“Stop talking,” Gina scolded
