“Gavin! What was that? Why were you beating that guy?” Kimberly asked angrily.
Gavin sat down on the stairs and Iris sat down near him, holding his right arm. Gavin ran his hands in his hair using the other hand…
Iris looked at Gavin and sighed before facing the girls…
“That guy you saw earlier is Xander. He’s…”
“The guy that took advantage of you?” Charlotte gasped.
Iris nodded slowly…
“He’s the one!! Sh|t!, now I wished Gavin gave him the beating of his life” Kimberly ranted.
“I’m gonna make him regret ever stepping foot in my territory” Gavin said.
“Gavin, you don’t need to get yourself into trouble because of me.” Iris muttered.
“No Iris, that animal took advantage of you and worst of all he doesn’t feel remorseful at all… I’m sorry to say this but no matter how much you try to make me change my mind I won’t, I can’t let him go scott free. I will teach him a lesson on how to respect women” Gavin said…
“You don’t know that guy…he’s dangerous, evil and cunning. What if he ends up hurting you? I don’t want you getting hurt because of me…” Iris looked down.
Charlotte looked at Kimberly and they smiled at each other.
Gavin smiled and cupped her cheek then kissed her forehead softly.
“I’ll be fine, trust me” He whispered.
Iris looked at him and then smiled…
“All this is beautiful and romantic but I still want you to teach that dog a lesson” Kimberly crossed her hand under her chest…
“Don’t worry bout that” Gavin smirked…

Logan was busy working in his office when a knock interrupted his work.
“Come in” He said.
His secretary walked in with some files at hand.
“Good morning Sir, here’s the files and the magazine you asked me to get you” She said and placed it on the table.
“Okay, you may leave now” Logan said.
He began going through the files till his eyes caught what he was searching for, the magazine.
He brought it out and then looked at the cover. So this is the girl whom replaced Kristina during the photoshoot.
“That’s strange I’ve never seen her before” Logan muttered.
Somehow, Logan thinks that the trap which was set up for him is related to this photoshoot.
Suddenly, another knock came up. The door slightly opened afterwards revealing Jade.
“Jade?” He muttered as she walked in to his direction.
“Sir, you called for me” Jade smiled.
“Yeah, I noticed you were absent for a while. Can you tell me your reason?” Logan asked.
“Uhm… I was needed urgently” Jade said.
“Really? Was that so urgent that you couldn’t inform the company you work for that you’ll be gone for some weeks?” Logan asked.
Jade simply kept quiet. She has never seen this side of him before.
“I think I’ve made it clear that I h@të incompetent and unprofessional people. Next time such things happen again, just look for another company that’ll take you in. You can leave now” Logan said and looked down.
Jade nodded and slowly walked out of his office. Her office immediately changed to that of frown. She angrily walked out of the area.
At that moment Kristina was just coming to hia office. She furrowed her brows when she saw the look on Jade’s face.
Kristina walked in Logan’s office. That made him look up and a smile immediately spread on his lips.
“Babe…”Logan smiled.
Kristina walked to Logan and sat down on his thigh then pecked his lips with a smile.
“I just saw Jade walk out of here with a not so happy look on her face” Kristina said.
“Yeah, just put her in her rightful place. Think I should be less kind to my workers… If I was strict then that incident couldn’t have happened” Logan said.
“Awn…babe, you don’t need to be like that because of me. Stop feeling guilty, it’s all in the past” Kristina smiled and kissed his lips for a brief while.
Logan smiled and hugged her tightly, resting his head on her chest. He snuggled with her B@@bs.
“So soft and comfortable. Our kids sure won’t grow hungry” Logan smirked.
That made Kristina chuckle.
“Naughty guy” Kristina smiled.

Ricardo finished signing the last docvment he needed to sign. He kept it aside and sighed while loosening his tie.
Not being at work for two days is really weighing up on him and adding to the fact that he asked Valentina not to come to work today. Nevertheless, it was totally worthwhile.
He removed his coat and hung it on his chair before resuming work.
Suddenly a knock came up on his door.
“Come in…” Ricardo said.
The door opened and Emilia walked in with a smile on her face.
“Boss, your signature is needed in these docvments before it should be approved” Emilia said.
“Really? Give me let me see” Ricardo said.
Emilia handed him the files and he began going through them carefully.
Emilia couldn’t help but stare at him with dreamy eyes. Some button of his shirt was left unbuttoned revealing his muscular chest and the serious look on his face plus his new hairstyle added made him look so much like a god..
“How can someone like Valentina be able to go out with him?” Emilia wondered.
Well Ricardo and Valentina dating is no longer a secret to the world and just the thought of it infuriated her.
“Ricardo is supposed to be mine” Emilia thought.
Ricardo finally signed where he was supposed to before handing back the files to Emilia.
Emilia nodded and slowly walked out of his office.
“I need to find a way to make him mine” She thought as she walked away…

“So I guess this is where we’ll separate” Gavin said when they stopped in front of Iris’s house.
“Yeah” Iris smiled
“Why don’t you come in and meet my mom…she’s been disturbing me of you coming over” Iris said, scratching the nape of her neck.
Gavin chuckled and cupped her cheeks.
“That’ll be for another time, I promise” Gavin said and pecked her lips making her blush…
“You look cuter when you blush” Gavin smiled releasing her.
“Bye babe, will come pick you up tomorrow” Gavin waved.
Iris smiled and waved back before going in her house.
Gavin watched as she went in before turning to leave. He wore the cap of his hoodie before walking away.

“Good evening mom” Iris said.
“Good evening my baby, I didn’t see you and that guy kiss” Peggy smirked.
“Mom…!!” Iris blushed touching her lips.
“Me too, I didn’t see the way you looked at him” Valentina said, coming downstairs.
“Gosh!, you too?” Iris pinched her brows, she knows already that they’ll tease her with it for like one week…
Valentina chuckled and smiled at Iris.
“I’m happy to see you’re gradually forgetting that animal” Valentina smiled
“Speaking of animal…he got transferred to our school today” Iris sighed and sat down on the couch.
“What?!” Peggy and Valentina chorused.
“I hope he isn’t disturbing you again? Coz if he does I swear I’ll not just give him the beating of his life, but I’ll make sure to shop off that toothpick he calls d_1ck” Valentina frowned.
“Don’t forget to break those arms he used to touch my baby” Peggy added
Iris chuckled.
“You all should be calming down. First was Gavin then Kimberly and Charlotte now you two” Iris chuckled…

It was 7PM in the night and Xander was busy walking along the alley of a dark street while pressing his phone.
He suddenly stopped and looked around when he felt someone was following him. He looked back and saw no one.
He frowned and then shrugged before turning front and took two steps then stopped when he saw someone standing in front of him, holding an iron rod in his hand.
He furrowed his brows wondering who could it be. The person lifted up his head and removed his hoodie revealing Gavin’s face…
“You?” Xander muttered, he honestly didn’t believe his threat.
Gavin walked to him, tapping the rod he had in his hands on the wall. Only the streetlights brightened up the area a little.
“You have the force to beat up and have your way with innocent ladies right? Let’s see if you can handle me on your own” Gavin said and threw the rod he had in his hands on the floor…
Xander frowned and kept his phone in his pocket then cracked his knuckles and fisted his hands.
He then launched at Gavin, landing a blow on Gavin’s lips. That made his lips to bleed.
He touched it and smiled before looking at Xander. Xander made to punch him again but he effortlessly dodged it and then kneed him on Xander on the stomach.
Gavin pulled him up by the collar and then gave him a strong blow on the face making Xander to stagger backwards.
Before Xander could get to his senses, he tackled him making him fall flatly on the floor.
Gavin then straddled him and showed his faces with punches, rendering his face barely recognizable.
Xander discreetly picked up a rock lying not too far away from him. He immediately hit it on Gavin’s head making him get off him.
Xander slowly stood up while staggering. He walked to Gavin and then began punching him but he punches were weaker than earlier.
Gavin used that opportunity to pushed him off. He gave him one blow that made him crumple down on the floor.
Gavin stood up and cleaned off the blood on his lips, spitting out some.
He angrily began kicking him. His arms, his legs, his d_1ck, his stomach…he didn’t care.
“So you bark but you can’t bite huh? Come on stand up, I’m not done with you” Gavin said, still kicking him.
He stopped and ran his hands angrily through his hair while breathing heavily. He spotted the rod he brought earlier and so went to pick it.
He looked at it for a while and then at Xander who was pleading with his eyes. Paying deaf ear to his pleas, he hit him with it before throwing it away…
He crouched down in front of Xander who looked so pitiful. He held him by his hair and pulled him up to look at him…
“If you had asked for forgiveness for what you did then this wouldn’t have happened to you. I h@të people like you and you have succeeded in awakening the angry beast in me” Gavin spatted it in his face.
“I hope you’re ready to finish what you have started” Gavin said and released him then stood up…
He looked one last at him before leaving. Xander struggled and brought out his phone then dialed a number….

Gavin paid his bills once he got his face treated. He dipped his hands in his pockets and slowly walked back home.
Since he didn’t want to be noticed by anyone, he entered his room by climbing in through the window.
He breathed out a sigh of relief when he saw no one. He removed the hoodie he was wearing and then began unbuttoning his shirt.
Suddenly the lights to his room turned on making him flinch. He slowly calmed down when he saw it was Kimberly.
“Kim… You scared the hell out of me” Gavin breathed out.
“Where were you? Mom and dad asked for you but you weren’t there” Kimberly asked, coming closer.
She gasped when she saw the bruises on Gavin’s face.
“Geez!! Gavin!, where did you get all these bruises from?” Kimberly said, touching his face making him flinch back.
“Careful… Where else should I get it from” Gavin asked, keeping his hoodie aside.
“You fought with that Xander guy?” Kimberly asked.
“Well fighting will be an overstatement, let’s say I gave him a dose of his medicine” Gavin said.
“Yay!! That’s why you’re my big bro, no dull moments… Though I wonder how you’re gonna explain these to mom and dad” Kimberly said..
“Well we’ll see about that in the morning” Gavin said and removed his shirt and kept it aside. He picked his towel and walked in the bathroom.
“Lock the door while leaving…” Gavin’s voice could be heard.
“Night brother” Kimberly waved like he could see him before leaving…

MORNING, THE WILLIAMS**
Valentina smiled when she finished applying the makeup on her face. She stood up and admire how she looks on the mirror.
Somehow, she really wanted to change her dressing style and seeing this dress I her closet reminded her of Ricardo.
It was one of the dress he bought for her in front of Ryan some months ago.
“Time really fly by. Who would have thought I’ll now be his girlfriend” Valentina though with a smile.
She picked up her handbag and walked out of her room, heading downstairs.
“Wow, wow, wow!! Did a plane crash nearby? Coz I’m sure it dropped a very Sëx¥ lady nearby” Iris said.
Valentina chuckled.
“Stop being so ÇOçky” Valentina smiled.
“But seriously you look breath taking” Iris said, sitting down for breakfast.
Valentina sat down next to her and picked up her cutleries then began eating.
“Where’s mom?” Valentina asked.
“She slept quite late last night so she’s still catching her hours of sleep” Iris replied, stuffing her face with food…
They continued eating in silence with both parties stuffing their face with food like some hungry beasts. What do we expect from foodies like them…
Valentina groaned, rubbing her tummy once she was done eating. She cleaned her mouth and then stood up.
“So I’ll be leaving now. Make sure mom takes her medicines before leaving for school okay?” Valentina said while Iris simply nodded.
Valentina picked up her handbag before walkinh out of her house.
As expected, the driver Ricardo assigned for her was in front of her house waiting for her.
The driver got down the car and then opened the door for her. She entered the car and then settled down
The driver closed the door and then entered before driving off….
Not quite long after, the car stopped in front of the company. She got down and then began walking towards her office.
“Good morning ma’am”
“You look so pretty Tina”
“Love your hairstyle”
Valentina just smiled in reply. Ever since Ricardo made it public about them dating, her private life suddenly became a public figure.
Her eyes caught with that of Emilia who was busy sending her some dangerous glare at her.
Valentina smirked and sent her mocking look before walking off. She entered the elevator which took her to Ricardo’s office.
Once she got there, she arranged her office and quickly arranged Ricardo’s own too before beginning her work.
Half an hour later, Ricardo walked out of the elevator and headed to his office.
He stopped on his tracks as he couldn’t help but stare at Valentina who was so engrossed in her work.
From her smooth and spotless long legs to her silky long hairs which she styled perfectly right up with the serious look on her face. Let’s not forget the way she bit on her pen while going through her files, making her look so alluring…
Valentina noticed someone staring at her for a while and that made her look up. She smiled when she saw it was Ricardo.
“Good morning babe” Valentina smiled and stood up then walked to him.
Ricardo held her by the waist and pulled her closer to him, biting his lips.
“You look different today. Are you trying out some other methods to make me fall more for you?” Ricardo smirked…
Valentina hung her arms round his neck and smiled at him.
“What?!…can’t I look good for my man?” Valentina said.
“Besides you are the one who bought this dress for me. Remember?” Valentina said.
“Yeah, I think that was the moment I began catching feelings for you but I refused to acknowledge it” Ricardo said.
“Really?” Valentina smiled.
“Yeah… Now let me have a taste of those lips I’ve been dying for since last night” Ricardo whispered and slowly took in her lips…
Valentina smiled and kissed him back too. Meanwhile, Emilia was coming with some files in her hands.
She paused when she saw them kissing. Anger slowly began rising in her. She folded her fists and turned then walked away…

TWILIGHT HIGH**
“Geez!! Gavin!! What happened to your face?” Iris exclaimed.
“It’s nothing, just some minor bruises. It will heal in two days or three” Gavin replied.
“That still doesn’t answer my question” Iris frowned.
Gavin sighed and looked at her.
“Well I fought with that idïot and it resulted to this” Gavin sighed.
“I knew it… Gavin what if you got wounded really bad?! All because of me” Iris crosses her arms under her br**sts.
“C’mon babe, if I didn’t do it then I’ll never know peace. That guy needs someone to put him in his place” Gavin said.
Iris rolled her eyes and began walking front. Gavin sighed and began following behind her.
“Babe, babe… C’mon…” Gavin whined.
He increases his pace and then blocked her way.
“Okay, I promise I won’t fight with that guy but only under one condition. If he doesn’t pick on you or any of my friends” Gavin said.
Iris sighed and looked down.
“You don’t get it… I don’t just like seeing you get hurt because of me.” Iris said slowly.
“Awwn…that’s cute of you caring about me” Gavin smiled and cupped her cheeks with both hands.
“Don’t worry I’ll be more careful” Gavin said and kissed her nose then her forehead, then her cheeks before her eyes.
“Hey stop that!! People are watching us” Iris giggled.
“Well let them watch for all I care.” Gavin said
***Attention to all the last year students in our humble school. The registration for the final exams are ongoing and will take place in two months time. The deadline for the registration is next month so you have enough time to prepare and give us your best*** The principal’s voice blarred on the speaker.
Gavin sighed. Here comes another exam which he’ll have to read his *ss off. Luckily he has two months to prepare so no need to hurry.
“You, Luca and Maxwell better give us your best in this.” Iris said.
“I promise you that mi lady” Gavin said and intertwined their fingers. They began walking to the lunchroom.
“Which university will you attend by the way?” Iris asked.
“Well I’m thinking of enrolling in the University of London where I’ll study music” Gavin replied.
“Wow, that’s cool. I see you really wanna move on with your music career” Iris smiled.
“Yeah yeah, don’t worry my first solo will be dedicated to you” Gavin pecked her cheek as they walked in the lunchroom.

Ryan just couldn’t get his eyes off her. She was just tempting to resist… Just staring at her already made him hard already.
Valentina stopped in front of him and slowly removed the robe she was wearing. She bent down towards him so that he could get a clear view of her cleavage.
“I’m all yours baby.” She whispered.
Her hands slowly began unbuttoning his shirt and the began caressing his chest and abs.
She leaned closer to him such that their lips were just few inches apart. As she was about to kiss her.
(PHONE BEGAN RINGING)
That jolted Ryan off his sleep. He rubbed his eyes and pinched his brows. He didn’t even know when he fell asleep in his office.
The phone continued ringing loudly. Ryan stared at the phone angrily and then picked it up.
“What?!” He snapped..
“So this is a new way of answering your girlfriend’s call right?” Stephanie snapped.
“Sorry babe” Ryan sighed and rolled his eyes. He was slowly getting fed up of this girl…
“Anyways just wanted to ask if you can send me some cash. I and my friends wanna go have some fun!!” Stephanie said.
“What of the one sent you yesterday” Ryan asked.
“Well it’s finished” She rolled her eyes.
“Well since it’s finished, ask those friends of yours to pay your things” Ryan snapped and hung up.
He leaned on his chair, remembering the crazy dream he had. He picked up his phone and stared at a picture.
It was a picture of him and Valentina when they were still dating. He stared at it for a while and sighed…

“Love, could you sign these docvments? We’ll be needing it for the exportation of the company’s tech” Valentina said, walking to Ricardo’s desk.
“Yeah sure” Ricardo replied and took it then began going through it.
Valentina went to the coffee brewer and then brewed him his coffee. Once she was done, she placed it on his desk.
Ricardo signed the docvments and gave it back to her which she collected.
“Love?” Ricardo called, making Valentina turn to him.
Ricardo smiled and gestured for Valentina to come sit on him. She slowly walked to him and then settled on his thigh.
“What’s up?” Valentina asked.
“Well I’ve been thinking lately and since today is the first day of December, why don’t we go on a double vacation.” Ricardo asked.
“Double vacation?”
“Yeah, you me and Logan with Kristina. You know to celebrate Christmas and New Year” Ricardo said.
“That sounds great but what of Myles and Minnie?” Valentina asked.
“They’ll simply stay with my parents, it’s just for two weeks so no need to worry” Ricardo said..
“Alright” Valentina smiled.
“So where shall we go?” Ricardo smiled.
Valentina began thinking really hard. It took her about two minutes think before she finally decided.
“Canada” Valentina smiled.
“Alright, since it’s an idea that I and Logan came up with I’ll ask his opinion and if he’s okay with Canada then that’s it” Ricardo smiled.
Valentina suddenly stayed quiet for a while, just staring at him…
“Why are you going at all these length just because of me. I don’t want it to look like I’m a gold digger” Valentina blurted out her thought.
Ricardo looked at her for a while before smiling…
“I told you that I’ll spoil you and treat you like the queen which you are right? Well this is just my way of showing how much I cherish you.. But if you don’t feel comfortable just let me know and I’ll stop it” Ricardo said.
Valentina shook her head and hugged him with a smile playing on her lips.
“Thanks for loving me Rick, even though I don’t know what good I can offer to you” Valentina said.
“Your love is enough for me” Ricardo smiled and rubbed her back…
They broke the hug and Valentina smiled at him before kissing him…

“So you’re saying these are the collection for this season?” Logan said, checking out the various designs.
The designers and stylists nodded, hoping he’ll love it. Logan looked at it with a scrutinizing gaze.
“Well all of them seem good to me but this one, I think it need some little touches here and there…” Logan pointed at the dress, showing them where to modify.
“Alright boss” The designer said and they all left…
He turned and looked at the studio where Kristina is been photographed. Kristina looked at him and smiled, he morrowed back her smile too.
Suddenly his phone began ringing. He brought it out and furrowed his brows when he saw the caller’s ID.
“Yeah?”
“Mr Daniels, the lady you asked me to track down has been located” A man said, sitting in his car while looking at Maude who was playing with her little daughter.
“Okay, send me the location. I’m on my way” Logan said, walking to the exit.
He hung up and rushed to the exit while bringing out his car keys from his pocket.
Logan got to the parking lot and then opened his car before entering, zooming off to the location which was sent to him..
He arrived at the location not to long after and as expected, the detective he hired was standing by the road side waiting for him.
Logan got down the car and walked to the detective.
“Ray?” Logan said, coming to him.
“Boss, there’s the house of the lady. She lived in there with a kid I think it’s her daughter and also with her grandmother” Ray said.
“Okay, I’ll take it from here” Logan said and walked to the house.
The house was small in size and antique. He knocked on the door.
“Coming!!” A girl’s voice was heard.
The door opened revealing a little cute girl with big adorable eyes.
“Good morning Sir” She said cutely.
“Morning baby, can I see your mother?” Logan said.
The girl left the door opened and went to look for Maude.
“Mom, here’s the man…” The girl said, pulling Maude who was carrying a bowl of water.
Maude immediately froze when she saw who it was. She was so shocked that the bowl she had in her hand fell on the floor

SUNSHINE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL**
The classes were over the for the kids. Myles could be seen sitting on the stairs while frowning for who knows what while Minnie was busy playing with her friends.
“Bye Leslie” Owen said when his parents came to pick him up.
“Bye Owen” Leslie waved back.
Leslie walked and then sat down beside Myles before at him. Myles simply looked at her and looked back front.
“What’s wrong?” Leslie asked.
“Nothing. Ever since that Owen guy came to our school you only spend time with him and thats not fair” Myles pouted and frowned..
Leslie looked at him with a look of surprise in her face. She blinked twice and then looked at it him again.
“Wait,, don’t tell me you’re jealous?” Leslie said, amused.
“What?! No!!” Myles snapped.
“Oh yes you are…you’re jealous” Leslie laughed.
That made Myles to look away while frowning. Leslie laughed for like two minutes before stopping.
“Okay, for your information Owen is my cousin. So stop being like that, you look like your dad when he want to fire someone. He’ll be like ‘you’re fired'” Leslie said, mimicking Ricardo’s cold facial expression and voice.
Myles couldn’t help but laugh at that..
“That’s better. Come on let’s go play” Leslie pulled him to to the slide.

“So that’s really what happened. Mr Logan, I’m sorry I never wanted to do what I did” Maude cried while pleading.
Logan just bent his head down in anger. Maude just told him all that really happened. He wasn’t even angry that he was drugged, nor was he angry that Maude betrayed him. He was instead furious against that witch who calls herself Jade.
“How dares she threaten someone with her child. Doesn’t she have any human sympathy? All that because of a st*pid obsession” Logan said angrily.
Yes, he knows that Jade is into him but he played the blind guy but this has too far.
Logan took deep breaths trying to calm himself down. He looked at Maude who was still crying her eyes out.
Logan brought out some cash he had with him and then handed it to Maude.
“Here, you can look for some job to settle down with and also for your house expenses. Just consider this as your salary” Logan said.
Maude looked at the money and then at Logan. She slowly collected it from him.
“Thanks so much sir. I’ll repay you this one day I promise” Maude said.
“No need” Logan said and stood up.
“Bye Maude, take Care of your daughter and grandma. Bye little one” Logan waved at the little girl and looked at Maude then smiled.
“It’s not your fault so I forgive you. You had to do it for your daughter” Logan said
“See you around” He said and found his way, out of the house.
He got out of the house and was welcomed with the cool breeze.
“Jade, I’ll deal with you tomorrow. For now, have something important to attend to” Logan said and entered his car then drove off.

“How does it feels? Being beaten up in return?” Xander’s mother mocked at Xander.
Well he passed out last night and the person he actually called was his mother who called his uncle.
He was found and then taken to this hospital. His mother quickly traveled to where they were and when she saw his situation, she couldn’t help but laugh…
“That’s not funny mom” Xander yelled.
“You dare yell at your mother? When you’re barely sitting” Xander’s mother laughed at him.
“That serves you right. I need to know who did this to you for he deserves an award from me” Xander’s mother smirked.
His state was really pitiful. His right arm was plastered, same as his left leg with his neck. Let’s not talk about his disfigured face.
Xander’s mother brought out her phone and began taking pictures of him.
“I news to show this to your father. I’m not the only one who’s supposed to laugh.” She said
Xander just looked away in anger.

NIGHT, THE WHITE HOUSE**
Gavin sneaked into his room and turned on the lights of his room. Luckily Kimberly was not there.
He removed his cross bag with his school pullover and kept it on his bed before removing his shirt.
He suddenly felt hungry so he decided to go downstairs to see if he could get something to eat.
“Mac and cheese” Gavin smiled and took it.
“Is this the time you’re closing? 9PM?” A voice said behind him.
“I’m doomed” Gavin said inwardly and slowly turned to see it was his mother, Harlin..
“Mom, good evening.” Gavin smiled..
“I asked you a question” She said, coming closer.
Gavin sighed and placed his plate back then faced his mother.
“I’m sorry mom, wanted to see someone off” Gavin said.
“But you could have at least informed me that you’ll stay late, at least I won’t be here worrying about you” Harlin said.
“Sorry mom” Gavin pouted.
Harlin sighed and looked to her right…
“I’ve been noticing you with this particular girl. Who’s she?” Harlin asked
“She’s Iris” Gavin answered, not liking where the conversation is heading to.
“I think you didnt get my question well. Who’s she to you?” Harlin asked.
“Mom, let’s not talk about that…” Gavin sighed.
“You love her right?” Harlin asked.
“Yes, so what if I do?” Gavin said.
“You know very well you can’t. You’ll only hurt her in the end” Harlin said.
Gavin sighed and began leaving the kitchen
“Please mom, I don’t want to talk about it…”
“You don’t want to talk about it? Or you don’t want you to acknowledge the fact that you are betrothed to someone” Harlin blurted out.
Gavin stopped on his tracks. He stood there for a while before leaving…
