“Valentina!!! F*ck…” Ryan threw his gun and rushed to her.
He lifted up her head and placed it on his thigh, tapping her cheek. Blood was still oozing from her stomach.
“Help! Anyone help!!” Ryan screamed.
Valentina coughed out more blood as her eyes opened slightly.
“Rick…Myles..Mi..Minnie..” She said weakly.
“I’m sorry Valentina! I didn’t mean to shoot you!!” Ryan said and realization suddenly hit him.
That woman, that w*tch.. He played a big time fool out of him.
“Evelyn!!!!!” He screamed to the top of his voice.
“d@mn you!!!! d@mn you Bîtch!!!!”

Immediately Ricardo got down his car near the building, two gunshots were heard.
His eyes widened in horror. He made to run in the building but suddenly, a huge explosion occurred at the third floor of the building. What followed next was fire!!
“No!! Valentina!!!” He screamed and made to run in the building but his bodyguards held him back.
“No boss.. The building is on fire. Chances that you don’t back alive is high” He said.
“Let me go!! I need to save my wife!!” Ricardo struggled and punched them.
He made to run in but another explosion occurred. The second one was to high that it pushed him back.
“Val… Valentina” Ricardo stared at the building as a drop of tear fell from his eyes.
“No!!!!!!”

“Job well done Emilia, now Valentina is out of your way. You can have Ricardo all to yourself” Evelyn smiled.
They were inside a car as they watched how the building burnt completely. Emilia smiled slightly, feeling alittle bit guilty.
“Drive” Evelyn ordered the driver when she saw the police together with fire fighters as they arrived the area.
The car drove off…

Ricardo could be seen sitting on the floor, leaning against the wall as he watched the fire fighter extinguish the fire.
Once they were done, the police force invaded what was left of the building. They searched the building and almost an hour later, two corpse were taken out.
Ricardo slowly stood up as his heart palpitated against it’s ribcage. He walked slowly to them and stared at the corpse.
Tears gathered in his eyes that instant. There were two corpse, their faces were unrecognizable, their body were completely toasted but one could tell it was a male and a female (due to the physical appearance.)
Ricardo looked at Valentina’s body and that instant, he couldn’t hold back his tears.
He felt his heart break into thousand of pieces, the pain he felt that instant was nothing as compared to when Evelyn left him.
“Why must the women i love always end up leaving me?” Ricardo thought.
Many thoughts kept running in his mind. How will he tell it to Minnie and Myles? How will Valentina’s mom and sister react? How will he be able to live without her?
“Sir, we need to take the corpse to the hospital” One of the fire fighter said.
He looked at him before removing his hand from her cheek, taking a step back. Ricardo watched as her corpse was been taken in the ambulance.
They drove off with her. Ricardo knelt down on the floor as he cried pathetically. He felt useless, completely useless!
A cop came and rubbed his shoulder making him look at him.
“Sir, we’re deeply sorry for your loss” He said.
Ricardo just looked down in tears.
“Please, if you’ll agree to follow us. We have some questions to ask you” He said.
Ricardo nodded and stood up, then followed them. He didn’t even have the strength to talk nor argue.

THE WILLIAMS**
Iris and Peggy were busy watching quite an interesting movie when suddenly, a breaking news popped up.
“F*ck!!” Iris cursed
🗣 Breaking news, today is definitely the most shocking and saddest day ever. Mrs Valentina Thornton was found death in an uncompleted building near Texas Hotel. The victim was found in an….
Iris quickly spranged up her feets as they showed the picture of how her corpse was taken out of the building with Ricardo crying beside her.
“Sis!!!!” Iris screamed to the top of her voice.
“No, this can’t be.. My daughter isn’t death! My,,,my daugh…” Peggy began breathing heavily, holding her chest tightly. Well she has heart problems.
Before Iris could react, Peggy blacked out.
“Mom!! No!! Someone help!!!” Iris rushed to her in tears.
“Help!!!”

POLICE STATION**
“Mr Thornton, as you can clearly seen on the security footage. We see Ryan Browns arriving the building then almost half an hour later, we see your wife running in the building. I think this seems fishy” The chief said.
“Sir, does your wife have anything to do with Mr Ryan?” He asked.
“He’s her ex” Ricardo replied tiredly.
He stopped crying but his face held an emotionless look on it.
“I see…then I think he has a hand to do with it. Unfortunately, he died too in the flames” The chief said.
“I know who killed my wife” Ricardo said.
“Evelyn Harper” He said and clenched his fists tightly.
“Your ex wife? Do you have proofs?”
Ricardo just stood up and left the area. Once he got out, a crowd of reporters flocked the area.
They began firing questions at him. He ignored them and his guards made way for him. He got in his car and drove off, heading to the hospital.
Once he got there, he walked in and headed to the side were the corpse were kept. He saw his whole family there, looks like the news already spread like wild fire.
“Daddy!” Minnie cried and rushed to Ricardo then held his chest.
“Tell me that mummy isn’t death! They’re just joking right??…” Minnie cried.
Ricardo just looked away, fighting back his tears.
“No…” Minnie covered her mouth as she cried loudly. Iris walked to her to comfort her.
Logan could be seen carrying Myles on his thigh as Myles cried like a baby..
Kristina walked to Ricardo with red eyes. Its obvious that she cried a lot. She hugged Ricardo and rubbed his back.
“Cry it all out brother” Kristina sniffed.
Ricardo closed his eyes and let his tears out. He hugged her and buried his face in her shoulder as he cried like a baby..
Iris’s friends came over to comfort her and the family..
Minnie and Myles cried till they fell asleep. Ricardo then asked Logan and Krsitina to take them to their house, so that they can sleep.
Iris left to go and and collect few things back home. Ricardo was now alone.
He sat down on the chair in the quiet and lonely alley, deep in thoughts. All these just happened so fast!
He heard footsteps approaching him but he didn’t even bother to look till the person stood beside.
“My deepest condolences Sir” A male voice was heard.
Ricardo looked sideways to see it was Daniel, his personal doctor.
“Thanks”
Daniel came and sat down next to him with a sigh.
“It’s so sad that you two didn’t have the chance to welcome the baby amongst you” Daniel said.
“Baby?” Ricardo furrowed his brows.
“She..she didn’t tell you?” Daniel looked at him..
“Your wife came here earlier this morning for checkups. And she was tested positive… She was…pregnant” Daniel said.
Ricardo felt his heart break more. Not only did he loose his darling wife, but he also loss his child. Can’t this life be more cruel to him?
“I wanna be alone” Ricardo said.
Daniel nodded and stood up then left the area. He leaned on the wall with his eyes closed.

MORNING, RICARDO’S MANSION**
Ricardo looked out of the window with eyes void of any emotion. He watched as the rain fell heavily over the area.
Looks like even the heavens is grieving for those great loss.
“Dad..” He heard a voice behind him.
He turned back to see Myles, dressed all in black just like him. Well today is Valentina’s burial.
Myles walked to him with a sad look on his face. He hugged Ricardo. Ricardo simply patted his hair.
“How is Minnie doing?” Ricardo asked.
“She’s already dressed up. Though she won’t stop crying” Myles said.
Ricardo knelt down in front of Myles and patted his hair with a slight smile on his lips.
“You need to be strong for your sister. Make sure you comfort her in all ways you can” Ricardo said.
Myles slowly nodded.
“That’s my boy.” Ricardo ruffled his hair before.
He looked out to see that the rain has died down.
“Let’s go get your sister. We need to go now” Ricardo held his hand and they went to Minnie’s room.

UNIVERSITY OF FRANCE**
“Hey babe” Maxwell smiled immediately Kimberly’s face popped up on the screen
“Hi” Kimberly said and forced a smile..
“What’s wrong babe? Why the sad mood?” Maxwell asked worriedly.
“Well I’m currently on my way to the graveyard. It’s Iris’s sister, she died yesterday” Kimberly said.
“What!!” Maxwell exclaimed.
“Yeah.. If you can see Iris’s state now. And worst of all Maxwell is unreachable” Kimberly said.
“Yeah, I tried his line severally but it isn’t working” Maxwell said.
“Maybe his phone got an issue who knows” Kimberly said and sighed.
“Send my greetings to Iris. Think I’ll call her later” Maxwell said.
“Alright. Bye babe, love you!!” Kimberly said and hung up.
The car stopped by the graveyard. She got down and brought out the flower she came with before entering the area.
She spotted the crowd so she just went to them. She could see the coffin placed at the middle while the other were silent as the priest preached.
Peggy was there, though she was sitting on the wheelchair. Iris kept rubbing her back, consoling her.
Ricardo was seen carrying Minnie while his other hand held Myles’s hand. Others like Kristina, Logan Ricardo’s parents, Charlotte, Riley were all present.
Once the preaching was over, the white coffin was lowered into the dug hole.
“Bye mommy, I love you” Minnie kissed a white flower and threw it in.
Myles followed. Ricardo sighed and also threw his own flower in. They stepped away as the other took turns to say their farewell to Valentina.
Evelyn who was watching everything from afar smiled. She wore back her shades and left the area.
Once the rest of them finished saying their farewell, the hole was covered and her grave was arranged.
“Let’s go..” Ricardo said to Myles who nodded and followed behind, fighting back his tears.
“I never even had the chance to tell you all the truth” Peggy thought and let out her tears.
Iris just rubbed her shoulders…

THE WILLIAMS**
Iris got in the house while pushing Peggy on her wheelchair. Well Peggy got discharged today from the hospital after she fainted yesterday and the doctor said to avoid telling her anything that can cause shock to her.
“Hungry?” Iris asked.
“No” Peggy said simply looking down.
Iris looked at her mother and sighed. She hugged her and kissed her hair.
“We need to be strong mom. I’m sure Valentina wouldn’t want us to be like this” Iris said.
Peggy forced a short smile and nodded. Iris broke the hug and smiled.
“I need to pee, will be back” Iris said and went upstairs to her room.
She closed the door and leaned back on it, closing her eyes. She opened it back to see the portrait of her, Valentina and their mother. The day of Iris’s fifth birthday.
“Can’t believe you left us so soon..without even saying goodbye” Iris said.
She brought out her phone and put it on. It was Gavin’s photo that showed since she used it as her wallpaper.
“And you’re still unreachable… I hope you’ll stick to your promise,, cause I’ll do so” Iris said and kept her phone aside, entering the bathroom.

Charlotte walked in her room and fell heavily on the bed. Well, the funeral ended not long ago so everyone went their way.
“This is so sad… I really feel for their family” Charlotte said.
“Baby?” Mr Baxter popped his face in her room.
“Dad” Charlotte sat up and smiled..
“How you doing? And why you wearing black? Did someone die?” Mr Baxter asked.
“You’re not aware? The whole country knows that Mrs Valentina Thornton is déad” Charlotte said.
“Huh?” Mr Baxter ached his brows.
“Yeah..” Charlotte sighed.
Mr Baxter was just surprised. Its not been long ago, he warned Ricardo to protect her and now he’s hearing that she’s dèad. This is just…
“I honestly didn’t know, maybe I should start getting interested in the social media.” Mr Baxter said.
“Today was her burial day”
“I didn’t even go. Guess tomorrow I’ll go pay my homage to the bereaved family” Mr Baxter said.
“I’ll take you to them dad” Charlotte said while Mr Baxter just nodded.
He kinda really understands Ricardo’s pain right now. It is really painful to loose someone you love in such a way…He’s been there.

RICARDO’S MANSION**
Ricardo was sitting in the living room, sipping on a glass of wine while staring into space.
He kept reminiscing on the beautiful memories they had together and that made him smile at the same time it pained him even more..
He filled back his glass and continued drinking in silence. Well Minnie is sleeping while Myles, he’s in his room..
“Sir?” A maid called.
He looked up to her with a cold gaze.
“The lunch is ready.” She said.
“Alright, go get the twins so they could eat. I don’t have the appetite” Ricardo said and looked front.
The maid bowed and left. He continued with what he was doing till another maid came to him.
“Boss, someone wants to see you” She said.
Ricardo furrowed his brows, wondering who it is.
“Let the person in” He said and poured the last liquid in the glass.
Suddenly, he heard footsteps approaching and then the footsteps stopped abruptly.
“Cardo..”
Ricardo tightened his grip on his glass when he heard the voice of the person. He took another sip of his drink.
“Hope you’re happy with what you’ve done” Ricardo said.
“What did I do?” Evelyn furrowed her brows.
Ricardo chuckled without looking at her.
“Don’t act stúpid Lyn.. You’re the one responsible for my wife’s death” Ricardo said.
“Me?! Of course not.. I’m here to pay my condolences to you” Evelyn said walking closer to him.
“If you take one step closer, I swear I’ll kill you with my bare hands” Ricardo warned, still not looking at her.
“Guess it was a bad idea acting all friendly. Anyways, hope you remember tomorrow is the last trial..the judge will decide who should keep the kids” Evelyn said.
“Yeah”
“Prepare to loose coz I’m never backing down Ricardo. It’s just so sad that you hàte me.” Evelyn said and began walking closer to him.
“Look Ricardo, if you can just stop this hatred maybe we can come back together. The kids now need a mother at such stage in life and I…”
She made to place her hand on his shoulder. Ricardo broke the empty bottle of wine and with the broken bottom, he swiftly turned and shoved the bottle in her arm.
“Argggghhhh!!!!!!” Evelyn screamed and her blood run down her arm.
“You’re lucky, I was aiming for your Füçking head. Next time you’ll show your face in front of me to talk Sh|t about peace I won’t miss you. You declared a huge war against me the day you messed with the woman I cherish the most in this world and I won’t stop till I wipe off your clan… Harper!!” Ricardo said with eyes full of anger and hatred.
Evelyn held her bleeding arm as she glared at Ricardo. Deep down, she knew that he meant each and every words he said.
She hissed loudly and stormed out of the area. Ricardo heaved loudly trying to calm down himself.
He brought out his phone to make a phone call..

“This hairstyle is already too common.. what fits me best?” Caleb asked.
Gavin kept pressing his phone, not even sparing him a word. Well he got himself a new phone but to get back his contact was now another question.
“Hey! I’m talking to you!!!” Caleb said, turning to him.
“You sure you want my advice?” Gavin asked.
“Yeah!”
“This!” Gavin showed him an example inside the book he held.
“F*ck you man! You man me to cut off all my hair!! Bald style?!” Caleb said.
“What? It will fit you perfectly. You have an egg shaped head so its gonna look really cute. Don’t forget to shave your brows too so you’ll look like a complete egg” Gavin winked.
“You..” C-K just shook his head.
The door to the saloon opened with Bianca walking in with a smile.
“Finally found you boys!” Bianca said.
“Wassup Bianca?” Gavin smiled.
“I’m good. Hey! How about we go have fun. There’s a competition going on nearby where we go all freestyle” Bianca said.
“Really?” Gavin and Caleb asked.
“Yeah! Maybe I’ll showcase my vocals there” Bianca smiled.
“And my talent of rapping. Maybe I’ll come back for the haircut…music comes first” Caleb said, standing up.
“Alright.. Come on pretty let’s go!” Gavin smiled, walking out of the saloon.
“He called me pretty” Bianca blushed.
“Hmm… Better come back to earth coz he has a girlfriend already and she’s cuter than you” Caleb said, leaving.
“That’s not fair bro!!” Bianca exclaimed, following them..

“I hope we win” Myles said.
“Me too” Minnie said.
Lately, she talk rarely. She talks only when a question is asked to her.
They opened the door showing them they can come in. They all walked in and took their seats.
Everyone were present except Peggy and Iris due to Peggy’s condition..
The jury waited till everyone was seated before proceeding.
“So it has been judged and a conclusion was drawn.. Mr Ricardo Thornton and Miss Evelyn Harper, you two will have to share custody of the children” The jury said.
“What?! That’s pure Sh|t!!” Ricardo exclaimed standing up.
“Sir, I suggest you keep your voice down. That’s the best decision since your wife which was supposed to act as a mother figure isn’t longer there and the children needs to have a mother figure in their life”
“Miss Harper will get to keep the boy while Mr Thornton will keep the girl and each weekend, you switch them just for the weekend” The jury said.
“What?! No.. I don’t want to live with her” Myles shook his head, almost at the verge of tears.
Myles looked at Minnie who was looking at him sadly too. So now, they’re gonna be separated.
Ricardo folded his hand tightly in anger. He looked sideways, glaring at Evelyn who held a mocking and victorious smile on her lips.
She stood up and left…

“Mom, the doctor said you shouldn’t stress yourself too much” Iris said when she saw that Peggy already stood up from her wheelchair.
“Dont sorry baby. I’m fine, I’m a strong woman” Peggy smiled.
Iris smiled and nodded.
“I wonder how the trial will be?” Iris wondered.
Suddenly, they heard the doorbell.
“Let me get it. I think it’s the pizza I ordered” Iris said.
“No, let me get it. Just rest, you’ve overworked yourself for me” Peggy said and kissed her forehead before going to the door.
She held the door knob and turned it open…
“Good mor…” Peggy paused slowly as she felt all color drain from her face at who she saw.
Mr Baxter who was discussing with Charlotte turned back when he heard the door open. He froze instantly at who he saw. He couldn’t believe his eyes..
“Peggy?” He said in disbelief.
Peggy’s hand flew to her heart which was already aching due to the shocking visit she is getting ..

“Ga..Gael” Peggy stuttered.
Mr Baxter just stared at her in disbelief. To him, it was just like a dream. She’s standing right in front of him and she’s…alive?
Peggy shook her head in tears as she held her aching chest. She kept breathing heavily till she closed her eyes.
“Miss Williams!” Charlotte exclaimed when she saw her falling.
Before she could land on the ground, Gael caught her. He lifted her up in a bridal style before walking in with her.
“Iris! Iris! Your mom just passed out!!” Charlotte said.
Iris who was in the kitchen rushed downstairs. Her eyes widened.
“Quick! Lay her down on the couch over there!” Iris said and ran back upstairs to get her medicines.
Gael stared at Iris rush upstairs for a while, deep in thoughts. He looked back at Charlotte before going to lay her on the couch as per ordered..
Iris rushed back down and went to Peggy. She sprayed her medicine in her mouth and placed her head on her chest to listen to her heartbeat. She did that again till she sighed in relief..
“She’s now stable…Probably wake up soon” Iris said standing up then faced them.
“What happened out there?” Iris asked.
Gael (Mr. Baxter) just ignored her and walked over to Peggy. He crouched beside her, still starring at her face.
Iris looked at Charlotte who just shrugged..
“I don’t know, we came over here coz my dad wanted to pay his hommage but when they saw each other, she suddenly had a shock and passed out” Charlotte explained.
“Huh? Mr Baxter, do you know my mom?” Iris asked but he just kept quiet.
“C’mon dad!! We’re curious, don’t tell me you did something bad to Mrs Williams in the past that made her so scared and she..”
“Will you two just shut up!! How can I possibly do something bad to my wife?!!!” Gael snapped.
Iris and Charlotte were take aback. Were their ears still functional?

RICARDO’S MANSION**
“Dad, i don’t want to go and live with that wítch… Dad!!” Myles kept crying while Ricardo packed his suitcase.
Ricardo finished packing it and sighed. He looked at Myles and sighed before hugging him.
No one needs a seer to tell him that Evelyn obviously bribed the law on her favor..
“I’m sorry Myles but there’s nothing I can do against the law” Ricardo muttered.
Myles shoulder fell as he continued crying.
“But there’s something I can do against Evelyn” Ricardo said.
“Huh?” Myles said.
Ricardo broke the hug and wiped his tears.
“I h@të using my kids to get what I want but I have to do it this time around.. Myles I need you to be there with them” Ricardo said.
Myles just stared at him, completely confused.
“I want you to be my eyes and ears at Evelyn’s place, I need you to watch everything and then report them to me each weekends… I’m not asking you to act like you do love her. h@të her, h@të her with deep passion but be careful..I trust you Myles and I know you’re smarter and wiser than your age. I know you know it’s her that kîlled your mother.” Ricardo said
“I’m doing all these for Valentina,, for my heartbeat” Ricardo looked down.
Silence was what followed. Suddenly, Ricardo felt Myles tiny palms on his shoulder.
He looked up to see Myles with a determined look on his face.
“I’ll do it for mommy” Myles said and nodded.
Ricardo finally smiled and hugged Myles.
“That’s my boy,, sorry I had to use you. Still gonna miss my brave son” Ricardo smiled.
“Miss you too dad. Take care of Minnie” Myles said.
Ricardo nodded and they walked out of his room. They saw Minnie standing outside with a teddy bear at hand, one of the gifts Valentina gave her on her birthday.
Myles walked to her and hugged her tightly before kissing her cheeks.
“Don’t be sad, I’ll be fine okay? Just take care of dad…beside we’ll be seeing each other at school” Myles said assuredly.
Minnie nodded with a sad look on his face.
“Never said this to you but I love you small sis” Myles smiled.
Minnie finally smiled after how many days.
“I love you too big brother” Minnie replied.
Myles nodded and left with Ricardo. They walked out of the house and met Evelyn standing by her car, waiting for Myles.
“Bye dad!!” Myles waved and walked to Evelyn.
“My baby!” Evelyn exclaimed and made to hug Myles but he took a step back.
“Don’t touch me!” Myles glared at her before entering the car, taking Evelyn by surprise.
She looked at Ricardo who just glared at her before entering his house. She looked back at Myles who was looking the other way.
With a sigh, she entered the car and the driver drove off..

Charlotte and Iris were both seated, waiting impatiently for Peggy to wake up so that the huge suspense they’ve been kept on can finally be elucidated.
And the long awaited moment finally came! Peggy slowly opened her eyes and groaned as she sat up.
Iris and Charlotte rushed to her and helped her sit up.
“Mom…how you feeling now?” Iris asked.
“Better…” Peggy replied, not tearing her gaze off Gael who was looking at her with deep anger burning in them.
“Gael..” Peggy said, tears gathering up in her eyes.
“Tell me why..what happened?” Gael asked as calmly as possible.
Peggy wiped off the tears before it could fall. She looked at Iris and held her hand..
“Iris, please sit down I need to tell you something. Something I’ve been hiding from you and Valentina” Peggy said.
Iris slowly sat down, same as Charlotte.
“Iris, you’ve always wanted to know how I met your father well you’ll know it today. 24 years back, I was working in a huge mansion as a maid..I was the prettiest and the most humble of them all and that’s what made everyone like me there including the master of the house but there’s only one person who h@tëd me in that place… The master’s wife.”
“One night, the master came and proclaimed his love for me..how he fell in love with me but I turned him down for the respect I had for his wife, unknown to me that the wife heard about it one way or the other and that’s where my suffering began.. The master’s wife maltreated and molested me so much but I had to stay coz I had no other choice. Days passed till that fateful day..”
“On one evening, the master of the House came back drunk and it so happened that I was the only one awake in the mansion. I decided to help him but that helped turned to something bitter,,,he r@ped me. The next day he asked for forgiveness and I forgave him but something came out of that incident, I became pregnant. When the master found out, he began treasuring me giving me all the love and affection I could think of but all that just fueled the wife’s jealousy and h@tred even more.. She couldn’t allow a mere maid like me to come and give birth to a child that will take his daughter’s place coz she had a 4 years old daughter by that time. She decided to kíll me but someone saved me…he saved me” Peggy gestured.
“The man who got me pregnant was none other than the former leader of the Harper clan and the person who tried kîlling me is his wife. Guess you already know who that daughter is”
“Evelyn… Ricardo’s ex wife” Iris muttered
“Gael took me in under his roof and took care of me and he asked nothing in return. I honestly thought that kind men like him were no more. He took care of me and the pregnancy till I gave birth to my first daughter,,, Valentina” Peggy smiled.
Iris and Charlotte gasped.
“So,, Valentina and Evelyn are.. Half sisters?!” Iris exclaimed and Peggy slowly nodded.
“Days passed…months passed…years passed and found myself falling in love with this man in front of me but I had to keep it all in me, how can the leader of such a wealthy man look at a mere maid like me. Then one day, he came to me and did the unthinkable..he proclaimed his love for me and asked for my hand in marriage. I accepted it wholeheartedly and that’s were our romance began..we got married and he treated me like a queen, took Valentina like his real daughter. 6 years later, I conceived and gave birth to another girl which we named Emerald (Emery) coz of her green sparkly eyes. That Emery is you Iris..” Peggy looked at Iris.
Iris froze, completely shocked. She,, she’s Emery?
“He pampered you so much, you and Valentina and as the rules of his clan says, he made you, his first child the heir to his clan…everything was okay till Evelyn’s mom took leadership of the clan after Gael killed her husband.”
“She launched a very bloódy war against Gael’s clan. The war was so huge and scary and she was hellbent on killing me since her husband fell for me… I was so scared for my life and that of my kids that I had no other choice but to runaway with my kids. I faked my death and then began living this humble life till date” Peggy concluded.
Iris and Charlotte heaved a huge breath as the place was silent. Gael just glared at Peggy as he tried controlling his anger.
“So.. So.. Mr Baxter is my,, my father?” Iris stuttered and looked at Gael.
