“What do you mean by that.. I mean”. Alice said
while still in shock.
“You know, I had told you that I like you and I
also hugged you don’t you think that all this is
love”. Adam said with a lot seriousness on his
face.
“Umm, I thought you were just joking”. Alice
said.
“Joking, I can’t use something like that to joke.
Please will you give me a chance?” Adam said.
“Yes, yes I will”. Alice said happily, she had also
fallen in love with him but because of Olivia she
had kept it to her self.
“Really, you mean…”
“Yes, I love you too but Olivia?” Alice said with
an expression of sadness.
“We will tell her the truth, I don’t want a hidden
relationship. We will just try to console and
convince her too okay?” Adam said.
“Okay”. After saying that, they hugged each
other.
✓ Maxwell Mansion~ Five weeks later✓
Jackson had been having a really hard time
since Jemimah left the house. He couldn’t
concentrate anymore and even as a matter of
fact that he has been drinking non stop.
His parents tried all their possible best to stop
him but it just got worse every day. Though, he
had been going to college. He had never sighted
Jemimah after he had been told that she
accepted to Ellis’ proposal.
It really weak him down on hearing that, so his
parents decided to call Jemimah.

📞: Afternoon ma’am, it’s been a long time.
📞: Yes, since you refused to contact us again.
📞: Am sorry but I have been busy all weeks.
📞: We really miss you dear
📞: I miss you all too.
📞: Umm, can we see. I have something
important to tell you
📞: Uhn, what’s that.
📞: Come and meet in that restaurant today at
5:00pm if you are less busy.
📞: Okay, I will be there.
📞: Thanks.
Jemimah end the call, and she wondered what
she wants to see her for.
“It’s been five weeks, I wonder how they are all
and.. Jackson too”. Jemimah thought.

Jemimah arrived at the restaurant and what she
saw surprised her. Jackson was seated, he
looked like he had not been taken care of. His
face look dull and downcast.
Jemimah walked to the place they were seated
and she looked at Mrs Maxwell.
“Thank you for coming”. Mrs Maxwell said.
“What.. what’s he doing here”. Jemimah said
with a tone of anger.
“Calm down Jemimah, this is the reason why I
called you”. Mrs Maxwell said.
“Why, is he here to insult me again?” Jemimah
said.
“No dear, he had drinking non stop since the day
you left. He had not been concentrating on
anything, we all literally miss you”. Mrs Maxwell
explained.
“Really, so what do you want me to do now”.
Jemimah asked.
“I.. I want you to come back Jemimah, I promise
you that he won’t misbehave anymore. He will
treat you nicely”. Mrs Maxwell said.
“I will have to think about that cause I don’t
want any inconveniences again from him”.
Jemimah said.
“What of your boyfriend, will he allow you”.
Jackson finally said.
“I.”
“He doesn’t have any problem, right. Please
don’t refuse me please”. Mrs Maxwell said.
” Yes, I will talk to him about it”. Jemimah said.
“Thank you, God bless you”. Mrs Maxwell said.
“I want to be on my way now”. Jemimah said
and stood up.
“Bye”. Mrs Maxwell said.
Jemimah went home Immediately, and saw her
mom and told her mom about it. Her mom told
her to choose wisely, will you save a person or
leave him.
✓ Next day~Maxwell College✓
Alex and Lucy walked in with their hands locked
together, Lucy had finally accepted to him. They
were very happy with themselves. Students were
surprised with this action of theirs.

👥: They look cute together
👥: I thought Kate loved him
👥: Kate betrayed him, so he left her.
On hearing that, Lucy stopped and Alex looked
at her.
” Kate loved you?” Lucy said.
“Yeah, actually it’s a long story, I’ll explain later”.
Alex said.
“Why didn’t you inform me before”. Lucy said
with a frown on his face.
“Am sorry, let’s go the class and I will tell you
about it”. Alex said and took her to the class.
√Maxwell school~ classroom√
Adam and Alice called Olivia to discuss to her
about their relationship.
“Why did you call me here”. Olivia asked.
“We would like to tell you something”. Alice said.
“What”. Olivia said.
“We… We are now dating Olivia”. Adam dropped
the bombshell and Olivia’s eyes widened.
“What! What are you telling me”. Olivia asked in
shock.
“We love each other Olivia, please try to
understand”. Alice said.
“But you knew that I loved him right?” Olivia
asked.
“Yes but”.
She didn’t complete her statement when Olivia
stormed out of the class in anger.
“Adam, she..”
“Don’t worry, she will come around”. Adam said.
“I really hope so”. Alice said.

Jemimah was sitted waiting for Alex and Lucy
to arrive when she saw them coming into the
class with their hands twined together.
Jemimah glared in shock and in awe.
“What.. what is going on”. Jemimah asked.
“Well, I once saw a very pretty girl and I
approached her though she took long before
she could approve me but at last she’s mine”.
Alex said.
“And don’t tell me, that’s pretty girl is Lucy”.
Jemimah said glaring at both of them.
“Of course I am, we are now a couple”. Lucy
said with a smile on her face while facing Alex.
“Co.. cou.. couple?” Jemimah said in surprise.
