✓ Jemimah’s house : Sunday✓
Jemimah is on her bed chatting with Lucy on
her phone. They were gisting about the fresher’s
party. Yes they are having a party at college for
freshers. They are very happy since it is
tomorrow.
📱: I think that boy will be there. Lucy typed.
📱: Which boy? Jemimah asked.
📱: That rude boy nah. Lucy said.
📱: I don’t care, I just don’t want to see him.
Jemimah said.
📱: You guys recently met and you quarrelled,
just remember he is founder’s son. Lucy said.
📱: I don’t care, as long I pay my school fees
and I mind my business, I don’t have a problem.
Jemimah said.
📱: Hmmm, as you wish just be careful. Lucy
said.
📱: Okay ma.
✓ Maxwell Mansion✓
Jackson is with Alexander when Alice walked in.
“Brother, you having a college party tomorrow
right?” Alice said.
“Yes, we are but it’s not really like a party, it’s
like a welcome party for the freshers”. Alex
explained.
“Oh okay, can I come along brother”. Alice asked
Jackson.
“To do what, don’t you have to go to high school
tomorrow?” Jackson said.
“Yes but…”. Alice said.
“No but, now go”. Jackson said.
“So rude”. Alice murmured as she walked out.
“That girl will surely be there, I will figure
something out about her, don’t worry”. Alex said.
“Thanks”. Jackson said.
✓Maxwell high school: the next day✓
Alice was walking to her class, when she
bumped into a boy. He looked at her and
smiled.
“I.. I am sorry, I was rushing”. Alice said but the
boy didn’t reply he just kept looking at her.
“Heloooo, I said am sorry”. Alice repeated.
“Oh sorry, I didn’t focus. Well, it’s okay”. Adam
(the boy) said.
“Hi, I am Alice Maxwell”. She stretch out her
hand for a handshake.
“Yeah, I know you already. Am Adam Connor”.
He returned the handshake.
“Okay and thank you. I have to go now, bye”.
Alice said.
“Bye, she’s so beautiful”. Adam admired.
✓ Shopping Mall✓
“Why did you have to bring me here Lucy”.
Jemimah asked.
“We are having a party tomorrow, we need a
nice cloth for that”. Lucy replied.
“And so, don’t you have cloth at home?”
Jemimah said.
“I do but why are you complain this much?”
Lucy pouted.
“Oh my cute friend, am sorry okay”. Jemimah
said cutely too.
“That’s okay”. Lucy said and she saw Jackson
and Alexander.
“Oh look”. Lucy said to Jemimah.
“What?” Jemimah asked.
“Just look”. Lucy said.
Jemimah turned and she saw them, she walked
up to them and as usual maybe to cause
trouble.
“Hi,you must be his brother or his friend right?”
Jemimah asked.
“Yes, am both”. Alex replied.
“Nice, am Jemimah and that’s my friend Lucy “.
Jemimah introduce and Lucy waved to him
while she came to them.
“Nice meeting you and am Alexander and this is
my friend….” Alex said.
“Yes, I know him, Jackson Maxwell the most
rude and annoying fellow, Raf for short, right
Lucy?” Jemimah said.
“What, me?” Jackson said in annoyance.
“Yes you, oh am sorry Alex, can I call you that?”
Jemimah asked.
“Yes you can”. Alex said.
“Nice, not like him, are you coming to the party
tomorrow”. Jemimah asked.
“Yes sure”. Alex replied.
“That’s nice, see you tomorrow then Alex and..
Raf. Bye”. Jemimah said as she walked out with
Lucy.
“That Parrot”. Jackson said.
“Wow, you already gave her nickname too”. Alex
said.
“That’s the girl I told you about”. Jackson said.
“What, you are supposed to be grateful why are
you like this nah”. Alex said.
“What, grateful to that Parrot, never.” Jackson
scoffed and walked out of the mall. Alex
followed him.
✓ Monday: School hall✓
The hall was blinking with bright light and every
well seems colourful. Everything was well
arranged, with a podium too. There was music
playing but it’s was soundproof so nobody
could hear outside.
Jemimah and Lucy walked in with dress which
perfectly look well on them, they had their
makeup on and they looked beautiful like a
princess.
“Let’s find somewhere to sit joor”. Lucy said.
“Yes”. Jemimah replied.
They sat down and Jackson and Alexander
walked in too, they were also well dressed.
Jemimah eyes went to them and she waved at
Alex and she scoffed when Jackson rolled his
eyes. Lucy looked back too and her eyes went to
Alex and she smiled at him, Alex smiled back
too.
“Ladies and gentlemen, we have our special
guest of honour. Please welcome the founder of
Maxwell college, Mr Nicolle Maxwell”. The MC
said.
They all clapped as he entered. Soon, they were
enjoying the party, so Jemimah excused herself
to the Bathroom and bumped into the other girl
again.
“Hey, you again can’t you ever stopped bumping
into me?” The girl asked.
“I should ask you that question, girl”. Jemimah
said.
“Am not girl, I am Rose Rodriguez. Okay? Rose
said.
“Shut it, I don’t need your name”. Jemimah
“Are you talking to me that way, how dare you”.
She made to slap her but some one held her
hand.
