After that day, Gift and Richard have continued to see each other but Gift kept it as a secret to Rose and will always tell Rose that Richard is so heartless and wicked that she has tried in many ways to talk to him about her but he always cuts her out
Rose told her not to bother him again that she has moved on with her life and by the time Richard will find out the truth, it will be too late for him. Rose on her path have observed the happiness in her friends life and ask her what the secret is.
Gift told her that she has found a new boyfriend giggling
I don’t want to introduce him yet until the right time, she will finalize it knowing that Rose will ask her to introduce his new boo and she is not ready to bring Richard to her as her new guy.
Things went by smoothly and Rose has forgotten all about Richard but vowed never to fall in love again.
They have entered fourth year and Gift still sees Richard secretly.
The guy whom Gift paid in order to take Rose’s nude pics with him wanted to travel to Lagos but his conscience always wipes him because of what he deed to poor innocent Rose
He began to monitor Gift and Rose’s movements and also he gathered information about Rose and Gift. He found out that Gift did that to snatch Rose’s boyfriend from her and that as it stands, she is currently dating the guy. He was so sad and swore to make things right before he leaves Umuahia.
One day, the guy double crossed Gift and told her that she is evil and promised to expose her.
Gift was frightened and never went home that day…. She planned on what next to do so that even when the truth is revealed, Richard won’t be able to leave her for Rose, so many thoughts crossed her mind until she finally resolved to getting pregnant for Richard. She smiled at her brilliant idea
So she continued sleeping with Richard until she finally carries his baby, she was so excited when she found out and told Richard about her pregnancy, Richard was happy and gave her the engagement ring he previously bought for Rose, he wore it on Gift who out of excitement shouted yes dreams come true!
That same day she came back happy and dancing the whole place, she showed her ring to Rose promising her that her soon to be hubby is traveling to Lagos and as soon as he returns this time around, she will invite him over for proper introduction.
Rose was very excited and rejoiced with her friend for finally finding a true love.
One hot afternoon, Rose was coming back from lecture very tired and famished, she noticed a male voice calling her name, she didn’t answer until the person run and catch up with her, panting very heavily and gasping for air as he tries to catch his breath.
Rose was looking at him and that face looks very familiar as she tried so hard to recall the face but can’t.
Then the guy looked up, you are Rose right?
Rose with a frown, how do you know my name and what do you want, I stopped because your face looks very familiar but I can’t place my finger at where I knew you from, I am very famished and needs to go home, so how can I help you?
The guy looked at Rose with a pitiful gaze… I know it will be hard for you to recognize me because you only saw me in pictures.
Rose looked at him, how do you mean by I saw you on photos alone?
The guy said. I am very sorry and ashamed of my self for doing what I deed, I was just too greedy and desperate for money to run my business that was why I accepted the job from your friend
Rose very confused. Please I don’t understand what you are talking about, you are just running around the football pitch without trying to score any goal, can you please be a little more specific because you are increasing my hunger now.

Rose smiled at the guy and said, thank you very much for your concern I know that rumours have spread so far and near but I am not interested about my ex and wouldn’t want to hear any rumors about my bestie because as for me, I have really moved on with my life.
