He smiled”Let’s go home.” He said.
“I won’t give you my food.” She said, like a little child. “Ehnn..don’t give me. I won’t give you mine.” He said, raising his own stuff he bought on the other side, there’s a restaurant. Chicken republic, it’s one of her favorite eatery, her eyes caught the name of the eatery.
“So you won’t give me?” She asked, although he bought hers, which is in the car. “I won’t talk to you again. Don’t touch me oh.” She said, walking towards the place he parked the car. He trailed behind her, he didn’t stop smiling.
They got home and Amber walked into the house, while the maids were bringing out the stuff, they bought from the market. She sat down on the couch, with a tray on her laps, while she open the agidi and moi moi which was rapped with a leaf, banana leaf some use plantain leaf.
She began eating her meal, Kunle entered and saw her eating. “Come eat.” She said and glance at him. “Thank you, here’s yours.” He said, he dropped it on the table.
“Where’s yours?” She asked, because she thought he might have given his, just to see her happy. “Here’s mine.”
“And what made you think that, I will get something and I won’t get yours. As long as you’re mine, anything I buy for myself, you will get yours.” He said and wiped the corner of her lips with his thumb and licked it.
“Delicious.” He said, smiling. She smiled, and tears dropped down from her tears. “What have I done to deserve someone like you?”
“You’ve suffered, you have gone through a lot and you deserve someone that will always make you happy. Someone that will always cuddle, hug you and tell you that everything is okay.” He said.
He wiped her tears and kissed her lips, “I love you.” He said, smiling, while staring at her pretty face. “I love you too.” She replied.
2DAYS LATER
Simi came to Kunle’s house and told Amber to about what she heard, from Kunle and his mom. They’re hiding something. I want them to come out and say the truth, and save my fúçking life.”
“You understand what love is all about. I love Derrick and nothing, I mean can stop me from loving him.” Simi said, with all seriousness.
“Simi, I want you to hear me out….Just talk to your husband. He knows better, I’m leaving.”
Simi, Simi..please listen to me….oh God what kind of problem is this. I’ve never thought in my life that something like will happen. Children of these days, doesn’t want to listen or care about the consequences of what they’re trying to engage themselves into.” She said and sighed heavily.
“What could be the problem? What’s Kunle hiding? I think she just found out about it.” She thought.
Kunle came back from and had his dinner, Amber didn’t wait for him to come to bed, she brought up the conversation about Simi.
“She came here?” He asked.
“Yes, and I think she has not been staying with mom.” Amber said. “What did she say?”
“She said that, you know something about her. She’s fúçking serious, K is there something you’re not telling me about? I want to know.”
“She overheard, your discussion with mom(his mom) and that’s why she came here.” Amber said.
“Don’t worry about it, I will call mom tomorrow and explain everything to her. Mom will say better on this matter.” He said, without telling her about it.
“So, you are not going to tell me about it?” She asked. “Let’s get some rest, you’ll find out tomorrow.” He said.
NEXT MORNING
Kim called Amber to know how she’s doing with her unborn child, although she’s still carrying hers, she has two months to go.
Amber told her about the things happening, Kim was surprised about the whole thing. “But why will you allow such thing to happen? I mean you should have make them understand that it’s against the traditions.” Kim said.
“Kim, I tried. I even locked him up, but Kunle bailed him out. And now Simi is saying that there’s something Kunle knows and that he should let it out and allow her be with the one she wants to be with.” Amber said, worriedly.
“Hmm, this is serious. These guys shouldn’t stress you at all, ehn. What did Kunle say about it?” Kim asked.
“He promised that, everything will be out today. I pray this will restore the peace and happiness of the love. They’re madly in love with each, I heard they still met each other. Kim, I’m tired.” Amber complains.
“It’s okay, relax don’t stress yourself. Everything will be fine, the peace and happiness will be restored.” Kim assured her.
“Thank you, Kim. Thanks for calling.” Amber said and hung up.
Amber dropped her phone, she went on her knees and pray to God to restore back the peace and happiness to their family. After praying, she ate her meal, which her husband prepare before leaving for work.
Kunle came back on time, because of the family meeting. He called everyone in the family to tell them about it.
At this time, he wished his father was still alive to handle this matter, but he thanked God that his mother is alive, to handle this.
He came downstairs to see his pretty wife lost in thoughts, he kissed her cheek, she glanced at him and smile.
“What’s up?” He asked. “I’m cool.” She replied.
“You’re thinking.” He paused. “Yeah, I don’t know why the devil wants to ruin this happy moment in this family.” She replied.
“Nothing will happen. God is here, and I know that everything will be fine. Don’t think much on this matter, remember that you’re not allowed to stress yourself. Okay? Huh?” He muttered.
“Okay.” She replied and smiled, he kissed her and sat down with her. She placed her head on his shoulder, he smiled and continued watching the movie.
“What if it doesn’t go the way she wants?” Amber suddenly asked. “Let’s wait and see what happens.” He replied.
