Turns out it was all a plan, everything was their plan, both the kid’s act was Lupita’s suggestion

“Am sorry mom and dad but I have a new family now, I forgive you two for the things you did to me but I can’t have you both back in my life,”

Everyone expected her to cry as usual but she didn’t
“Veronica,” her mother called shocked
“I will come to visit sometimes, and drop the charges,” she said and left
“Veronica,” her father called but she didn’t even look at them
They turn to Lupita
“What a pity, I also forgive you but you know the deal, I can’t be your daughter anymore, I have a new family also and I hold nothing against you two, bye,” Lupita said and left too
