Diane paced around her house. She was about to go crazy. Everything is happening to Dee because of her. If only she didn’t insist on that investment. Dee won’t be going through a lot right now. Thinking of it was quite depressing. That’s why when she saw Jeff on the news being congratulated for his success and his new phase in business, she thought it was a good idea asking for his help. But she was wrong. She only made thing worse for Dee.
De_ra was right. There’s nothing she can do for him except hurt him deeply. Her heart shook terribly. She couldn’t even sit down. She couldn’t even take Dee’s calls as he kept calling. She was so scared that she might hurt him again.
She sat down and curled up on her couch. How can she be so cruel? She have to let him go now for good. Because she will always hurt him.
She have nothing to offer him except HURT him. She almost broke down in tears when Dee suddenly barged into her house.
“What’s the meaning of all this?” he asked angrily.
She looked up to his face and nearly broke down in tears at how terrible he looked.
He reached up to her fuming and panting heavily, “Must you make me worry? Why did you pack out of the house without telling me? You can’t even take my calls!! What’s wrong with you?!”
“Dee I’m sorry. I can’t. I can’t do this with you anymore.” she replied.
“No way! Three weeks isn’t even yet over and you can’t do it anymore? Why ask for three weeks when you can’t even last for one week!”
“I ruined everything! I made you do things that you shouldn’t. If only I didn’t insist on that investment…” she sobered and tears filled her eyes. “You won’t…you won’t…” she began to cry.
“The decision was mine, Diane. Not because you said so. ”
“Yes and then, I went to see Jeff and ruined things further for you! I asked him for help!” she paused looking into his eyes. “Help Damien! I thought I was helping you but I made things worse!! I don’t deserve you.” she sobbed.
He h@tëd to see her cry. He tried to console her but stopped himself. “Why did you go see him?” he found himself asking her. “I could’ve taken care of everything myself without his help. I’ve always taken care of my hardest times without that sort of help Diane.” he said calmly.
“I’m sorry. I’m so sorry Dee. I was just so scared to face you and I thought going to him was the best option.”
“Best option?” he restrained himself from shouting at her. He tried to control his anger. “Tell me, what did he say to you?”
“Huh?”
“What did he ask you? What did he say to you?” he asked again.
“He said that he’s gonna help you.” she lied.
“Don’t lie to me. Please Diane, don’t do it. Tell me, what did he say?”
“He said, if I can marry him. He will…he won’t bother you again.”
“What?”
She held his hands.”Yeah, that’s why I don’t want a relationship with you anymore. In that way, he won’t bug you either. He won’t…” he pushed her away.
“You underestimate me Diane. Whoa! Because of a little threat, you wanna break up with me? Sometimes, I wonder if I really mean anything to you. ”
“Dee it’s not…” he turned and walked out on her. She shook terribly and cried harder

Dee barged into Jeff’s office scoffing loudly. “Nice try! Wow! You should be congratulated for doing something great in your life.” he said scornfully trying to keep his anger on a leash else, he’s going to end up messing up Jeff’s face.
Jeff excused his secretaries, who walked out of his office quietly while he smiled, sitting up from his chair. “Have a seat, won’t you?”
Dee ignored him. “Don’t you think you’re being childish, Jeff?” he hit his fist on his table. “Jeff really? You stir…” he smiled. “No, you use me to get Diane. You threaten her with me? ” he began to laugh and clap. “Jeff, I never knew you’re this stupid! You think burning down my LDR will make you win? Will make you great?”
Jeff nodded his head. “Do you have any evidence that it was me? It’s just your harsh luck. I heard your shareholders wants to tear you apart right now. You will soon need a merger with my company.”
He laughed. “Merger? You think I will merger with your company?”
“Yes, I think so. I can help you with that. Just like you helped Dee Marius Company too.”
He gritted his teeth while Jeff continued. “Oh, I heard you slept with De_ra, didn’t you. ” he peered into his eyes. “Does Diane know about this? Oops! I don’t think she knows.”
“Whoa! You must be so happy that you’re keeping a serious tab on me. I wonder who’s your informant.”
“You wanna know?” he smiled standing up from his seat and coming over to Dee’s side. “Ah, Dee,” he sighed out heavily placing his hand on his shoulder. “Whenever Diane called you that, I flipped out and I lose my senses, but right now, you’re infront of me, I think, I see why she always called you that. You’re a LOSER. Big one at that.” he began to laugh quietly.
Dee swallowed hard, looking at him with so much scorn and h@të. “Dee, I know that you still ask yourself how you ended up in Miss De_ra’s house?” Jeff continued.
Dee grabbed his collar immediately. “What did you do to me?”
“Relax. I’m gonna say everything to you anyway and I’m gonna tell Diane about it. How angry she will be.”
Dee’s eyes dilated in it’s socket. “What do you want Jeff? What do you want from me? Why won’t you stay away from us. Don’t you ever dare hurt Diane.” he warned. “Else, I will chew you to pieces.” he threatened.
“Hurt Diane? You’re the one who hurts her. You slept with Miss De_ra and you act like you love Diane? ”
“You’re messing with me Jeff. You won’t love to be in a battle with me.”
Jeff laughed pushing him away. “A battle with you? You brought this upon yourself! If you confessed your love to her before she met me, I won’t be this miserable and I won’t try to hurt you back.”
“And that’s why you set me up with Miss De_ra? That’s why you messed with my company and made my shareholders turn against me? You made my stock prices plummet and on top of it all, you ask Diane to marry you!!!” he yelled almost losing his mind.
He didn’t see all this coming. He didn’t read the handwriting on the wall.
Jeff smiled. “I will make sure you lose everything and come groveling at my feet!!!”
