Sunny bit her lower lip, after hearing Prince’s statement.
She wanted to move but her feet weren’t allowing her. It seemed like friction failed her, completely.
So, she just stood there, her back facing Prince.
“Really?? You wanna me to set up you and the girl?” Granny questioned.

“Yes Granny” Prince answered.
“Good. Good, son. You made the right decision. I think the lady would like to meet you at that eatery close to your place”
“Oh…I once took someone there. Suprisedly, the person didn’t eat a thing. She rather drank with her disguise and complained of cold” He whispered.
“What? Who?”
“My Ex?” Prince looked at Sunny back which was still on him.
“Ex? did you ever date?”
“Yes”
“Huh! But you didn’t tell me”
“I wanted to, Granny. I wanted you both to even meet but my heart suddenly got broken, afterwards”
Granny sighed.
“Don’t worry Grandson. I will warn this blind date not to break your heart and love you right”
Prince smiled.
“Okay, grandma”
Sunny breathed, blinked her eyes and finally walked away.

Sunny was home already. She was quietly eating with Maya across her.
“Maya?” Sunny called breaking the silence.
“Hmm?” She answered.
“Can you pass me, my phone?”
“Oh…Here” Maya took it from the side of the table and handed it to Sunny.
Sunny inhaled deeply and checked how many calls she had deliberately missed from Prince.
“Whoa. 102?” She raised her brows.
“51 messages and 43 from A-chat? Hmm…But all of the sudden, he wants to go on a blind date? Wh@tëver, Let him go. We aren’t together anymore so…humph! He’s free. Have fun, Prince” She scoffed and kept her phone down.
“What’s wrong with you again?” Maya muttered.
“I’m not hungry!” Sunny yelped and kept her chopsticks down, then, retired to bed. written by sommy pearl f.
“What’s her problem? She’s confused” Maya shook her head.
THAT NIGHT**
“Prince?” Granny called, immediately the call got connected
“Granny?” Prince cooed, entering his bedroom.
“Cassy just helped me book that restaurant you mentioned of, earlier today. You’ll be having the blind date there tomorrow at 5”
Prince sighed deeply instead.
“What’s it now, Prince?” She asked, concerned.
“I…actually don’t want a blind date”
But today, you told me-
“I’m sorry, Granny. I…had my reasons”
“Okay. Now, I’m angry at you, Prince. What reason could it be? You made me excited for no reason today” Granny’s voice drastically changed.
Prince noticed it and sighed again.
“I’m sorry, Granny. I keep making you unhappy this days. But the truth is that, I still love my ex”
“The person you talked about then?”
“Yes, Granny” Prince nodded.
“Just give me one more chance. I’ll make it right”
“Alright” Granny sighed.
“I’ll trust you…again”
“Thanks Granny” Prince smiled.
“You’re welcome. Hmm…Anyways, I don’t what else to say. Cassy already booked the whole restaurant. What a waste”
“Is Cassy still there?” He asked.
“No. She left already”
“Oh…Okay. Goodnight, Granny”
“Granny, Princey” She smiled and ended the call.
Prince licked his dry lips and landed on the bed.
“I miss you” He whispered facing the ceiling. He inhaled deeply and closed his face with his arm.
Soon, he was crying.

“Sunny?” A female co worker walked up to her.
“Hmm?” Sunny slowly looked at her.
“You’ve a visitor” She replied.
“Visitor? Who?” Sunny asked, slowly standing up. Without hearing her response, she walked away.

Sunny blinked her eyes seeing Cassy.
“Hello” Cassy smiled at her. waving.
“What’s she doing here?” Sunny thought, walking closer to her.
“Hi” Sunny smiled.
“You asked for me?” She asked.
“Yes” Cassy nodded.
“Mind if we talk?” She asked.
“Talk? Talk…about?” Sunny asked.
“Let’s go first” Cassy chuckled and held her hand, leading her away.
SUBWAY RESTAURANT**
Sunny and Cassy sipped from the drinks and then faced each other.
“What’s it about? I’m quite busy and didn’t even take permission from the director” Sunny explained.
“Its fine. No one will do anything to you. Besides, I’m Prince’s sister” She winked and Sunny chuckled, nervously.
“Uhm…Talking of Prince,,, It reminds me-
Sunny quickly stood up.
“If its about Prince. Then, I should take my leave”
“Prince…loves you a lot. I don’t know what you’re thinking or what anybody told you but it ain’t true” Cassy said.
“I don’t think you know anything at all” Sunny shook her head.
Cassy sighed. took out her phone and played a video.
“Watch this first. Then, do wh@tëver you want. I won’t force or stop you”
Sunny looked at phone which was on the table.
Sunny didn’t bother to sit back down. She just watched Cassy who played the video.
That day, when Prince and Clement were quarreling, She was actually recording it via video. written by sommy pearl f.
The video played immediately and Sunny watched it, and at each seconds, Her eyes grew wider.
The video kept playing.

Prince tried moving to Sunny who was quite distant, but Clement quickly grabbed his upper arm.
Prince looked at Clement who was shooting him with glaring eyes.
“She said,, you should leave” Clement said.
Prince snapped his arm off.
“What are you doing exactly? Why are you even here?” He asked.
“You don’t know?” Cassy asked, walking up to them with folded arms.
She kept her phone away now.
“What?” Prince turned to her.
“Sunny was actually Clement’s fiancée” She said and went back, to recording.
Prince widened his eyes in awe and quickly faced Clement.
“Wait. She was the girl who you two timed?”
Clement scoffed.
“Its over now. Don’t talk too much”
“What a pity. You just lost a rare gem just like that. Because you weren’t satisfied,,, you lost a sweetheart? Didn’t I warn and beg you to stay away from Cassy!! If I didn’t risk our friendship,,, You wouldn’t have broken up with Cassy, you know!”
Clement looked around. When he saw Sunny wasn’t around there anymore, He went to Prince and grabbed his collar.
“Shut up!! No one asked you!” He snapped.
“Its the end now. Go home” He added, and left Prince. He entered his car and zoomed off.
“That jerk” Cassy spat.
“Are you alright?” She asked Prince, ending the record.
….
….
“Sunny eyes were teary filled. She blinked effortlessly.
“Pri…Prince. Where’s he?” Her voice vibrated.
“Huh…I think he went to a date. The restaurant is- Cassy didn’t complete the statement. Sunny was gone already.
Meanwhile, Prince was at home, doing nothing. He was at the tall balcony of his apartment staring around the huge city.
He suddenly heard his phone ring and he went to pick it.
“Hello Cassy?” He asked.
“You’re at the restaurant now, right?” She asked quickly.
“No actually”
“Why?”
“I changed my mind”
“Gosh. Sunny went to look for you” Cassy sighed.
“What?”
“I explained things to her. She understands you now. I think you should hurry and look for- She was interrupted.
Prince hung the call quickly.
“Aiish! Why do they keep cutting me off?” She frowned, lightly and sipped from the straw.

Prince quickly wore his jacket and ran to the elevator. It was still in use, and not wanting to wait, He took the stair case.
After few minutes, He was down.
He started running to the restaurant. He stopped when he saw Sunny running forward.
She paused when she saw him.
Slowly, they began to take strides to each other.
“I can’t- Sunny sobbed, ran to him and threw her arms around him, in a flash.
Prince caught her rapidiy, hugged her close and she jumped up on his body, curling her legs around his waist.
He caught her instantly, and looked up at her, while she stroked his hair.
“I miss you, Prince Langford” She smiled and a tear ran down his eyes.
“Please,,, Let’s not break up again” He whispered.
She nodded and wiped his tear off.
“You too. Don’t ever say you wanna go on a blind date. Don’t meet up with other girls again”
“Alright. I won’t. I never did too” Prince said.
Sunny smiled.
“Thank you for waiting…”
Then, she went to his lips, kissing it gently. Prince held her really close and tightly, kissing her back, affectionately.
They didn’t care less about the public staring and murmuring excitedly at such scene.
