{ THE PUNCH }
Spencer couldn’t stop the length his eyes widened to, cos it kept going till it came all wide, same as every eyes in the hall.
“Fernando” Luxury muttered, looking at him shockingly.
“Sorry I couldn’t come to pick you up, o had to send Spencer cos of some reasons” he smiled and faced chairman Cole.
“Did I prove it enough?” He said, and chairman Cole sighed as he took Luxury away.
Lauren came to Spencer and held his arm.
“Let’s go” she smiled, but he shook her off and left her standing.
She looked at chairman Cole before leaving to get herself a drink.
“Talk to your son” chairman Cole said to Margaux.
“You disowned him, so I see no reason why you should still have a say in his life” she replied and left him too.
“Welcome everyone … to the party for the rich, hosted by chairman Cole, owner of NewAge group” the MC said on stage, and everyone faced him.
Meanwhile, Fernando was just getting to the hallway with Luxury.
“Don’t take it to heart, I only did it to cover up for you” he said.
“Still… calling me your girlfriend like that was too extra” she replied.
“What?, You can’t date me?” He said, and she laughed.
“Are you out of your mind?, We’re on a bet remember? I fall first, you Füçk me on your desk. You fall first, I stab your heart” she said.
“Let’s say the bet wasn’t involved, you still can’t date me?, Even if I promise to stop Füçking around?” He asked, and she blinked.
“Forget it, was joking” he smiled and walked back into the hall, leaving her standing.
Luxury inhaled, watching him till he went out of sight, then she made to go in too, but Lauren appeared, blocking her.
“I see you’re in love with Spencer” she said with a creepy smile.
Luxury ignored her and started leaving.
“The truth is, that guy can never get over his ex, and I mean it, Kimberly will forever be in his head, why do you think he has never noticed me?, He’s still in love with the dead” Lauren talked, and Luxury stopped.
Lauren walked to her and stood in front of her with a tricky smile playing on her lips.
“Even if he later gets over her, he belongs to me, so it’s better you give up early, like now” she said and knowingly bumped her shoulder on Luxury’s as she walked away.
Luxury kept standing there like a statue, staring into space.
‘He’ll never get over his ex’ Lauren’s words started ringing in her head, and she bit her lip.
“Did I fall for the wrong person again?” She asked herself, remembering how Spencer kept quiet the other time when chairman Cole was trying to embarrass her.
She inhaled and started walking back into the hall.
The dance was already going on when she got in, and Spencer was the first person she met.
“Luxury…
“Stay back” she glared and walked away from him, then she started searching for Fernando with her eyes.
She found him talking to a man, and she walked to him..
Spencer’s eyes followed her till she got to him.
“You here to slap me?” Fernando asked, and she took his hand.
She pulled him to a spot and wrapped his arms on her waist, then she interlocked their second hands and held his shoulder.
“You’re gonna dance with me?” Fernando said surprisingly.
“You don’t want to?” She asked, and he smiled before holding her more firmly.
“My pleasure, cupcake” he winked, and she smiled lightly before starting to move to the tunes with him.
Fernando’s eyes were on hers throughout, and as their eyes locked, he felt his heart moving fast like it has never done. It was enchanting.
He has no idea of how sparklingly beautiful her eyes were, not until now.
She’s cute!
“You’re… pretty” he blurted before he could think, and she smiled.
“I know, Fernando Moritz”
“You should say thanks in situations like this” he said.
“Well I don’t want to” she replied, and they both smiled at each other again.
Spencer was fuming seriously in his sitting position, and he’s drinking directly from his wine bottle.
He drank from it again before standing, then he went for Lauren and grabbed her.
“Ah!, Spencer!” She gasped as he took her to a corner where he caged her to the wall and kissed her roughly.
Her eyes widened, but not for long cos she enclosed the space between them with her arms and started kissing him back.
No matter how much he tried, it’s just not same with kissing Luxury, so Spencer broke the kiss and walked away, leaving her there.
“Spencer… kissed me” Lauren smiled, touching her lips.
The party was still going on when Luxury left the hall with Fernando.
“I’ll be the one to host the party next week” he said when they got to their cars.
“It’s now a weekly party?” She asked.
“Yeah, there are lots of rich people in Los Angeles yunno” he replied, and she sighed before trying to enter her car.
“You’ll be my date, and don’t worry, I won’t deny you like someone, I’ll defend you” Fernando suddenly said.
She looked at him, but he quickly got in his car and drove off.
“Silly douchebag” she smiled, getting him her car too.
She sped out of the place, and surprisingly, she started about Spencer again.
“How could he stand like a bamboo without saying a thing?, Gosh…how unbelievable”

Immediately Princess got to her distribution spot that morning, Nathan was the first person she saw, and her face brightened up immediately.
“Nathaniel!” She waved.
He walked fast to her and hugged her tightly right there .
“I missed you” he muttered.
“Same here” she replied, and he broke the hug quickly.
“You did?”
She nodded twice, and he smiled handsomely.
“It’s rare to see anyone calling my full name” he said.
“I like it more than the short” she replied.
“Can you keep calling me Nathaniel?, Just you” he asked seriously.
“Sure”
“You weren’t here two days ago, I was so worried” he said.
“Oh… Miguel helped me with the distribution then we had fun together afterwards” she replied.
“Miguel Cole?, When did you both get so close?” Nathan frowned.
“He’s not that bad” she replied.
“Says who?, Yunno his girlfriend is a devil, right?”
“I’ll be fine” she replied.
“But…
“Shhh, I’m ok” she placed a finger on his lips, and he could feel his heart racing with just that.
He took her finger away and held her hand.
“Promise to wait for me here at 5, don’t go with Miguel if he comes” he said, and she nodded.
“I promise”
“Bye!”
“Bye bye!” She smiled, and he rushed to his car, driving to school.
Miranda winded up, then she smirked darkly. She saw everything from her car across the road.
“Drive” she told her driver, and the car moved.
She got her phone and dialled a number.
“Is your gang available this evening?, I need you guys to kidnap someone” she said.

Fernando just finished dressing up for work when Benita showed up.
“Why are you here?” He asked as he descended the stairs.
“I know you’re mad at me right now but you need to take another shot of the injection” she replied, and he squeezed his face.
“I took my shot for the month already”
“I know, but the doctor told me to double it for efficiency, so you’ll start taking two shots a month” she replied, loading the syringe with the injection already.
“Really?” Fernando said, rolling up his sleeves.
“Trust me” sh smiled, shoving it into his veins.
He closed his eyes as he released it into his system, then he rolled down the sleeves afterwards.
“Good” she smiled.
“About Marcus, I hope it’s not real” he said and left the house.
Benita inhaled and sat.
“You can’t remember” she said to herself.
