{DONOVAN’S MANSION}
Danica enlightened from the car walking over to the big door, she didn’t even bother to look back at Donovan
“Welcome back, I missed you so much,” Laura said coming closer, getting close she pulled her into a hug
“Laura get the things out for the car,” Donovan said and walked past them
Danica pulled away from her hug and smiled lightly
“I wish to be like you when I grow up, you’re so pretty,” Laura winked at her, smiling
Danica chuckled
“You’re silly,” she replied going inside
She suddenly stopped when she get to the living room, the aroma coming from the kitchen Is not something she wanted to perceive,
Danica’s stomach rumbled and her system changed instantly, she covered her mouth with her right palm running to the restroom
“Look who we have here,” Anna said walking out of the kitchen, holding a spoon
Danica rushed past her into the restroom vomiting everything she just eats this evening, she nearly vomited her intestines
After vomiting everything, she went to the sink and washed her face then walked out of there but immediately she entered the living room for her to go back to her room the aroma hit her nostrils again
“Laura, what are you making? Please turn off the gas and pour that away,” she shouted tiredly, her hand covering her mouth
“And who are you to give order?” Anna snapped rudely
“I don’t like it, just…..”
“Then get your @$$ outside, this is my brother’s house and I will cook wh@tëver I want whenever I want it, you don’t give orders cos you don’t belong here,” Anna snarled, her face tightened, with those angry eyes staring at Danica
“My bad,” Danica muttered, she walked outside
Laura watched her leave as if she was some visitor, how could Anna be this cruel? She was so pained
“What are you staring at?” Anna shouted at her
Without saying a word Laura followed Danica outside, she saw her leaning on her car and instantly felt bad
“Danica,” she called softly, stopping right before here
Danica looked at her and smile
“You’re not gonna stay out here all alone and it’s freezing out here, you can’t let her chase you out like some…..”
“It’s okay, I will just stay here till she’s done, just get me my car keys, alright?” Danica cut in instantly
Laura nodded
“And my phone, it will keep me company,” Danica added

Donovan is currently playing his guitar when he heard a knock on the door, thinking that it was Danica his face beamed with smiles
“It’s open,” he said happily, his expression changed when he saw who it was
“Laura, you’re still here,” he asked shocked
She’s supposed to go home once it’s 7:00 but this is 7: 12
“You’re not gonna sit down here with this guitar while your wife is being sent outside your house by Anna, Don it’s freezing out there,” Laura said pointing at the window
“What?” he quickly dropped the guitar and stood
Donovan walked past Anna in the living room and she rolled her eyes and scoffed
He went outside only to see Danica sleeping in her car, her head resting on the seat, she was so uncomfortable that she might experience neck pain when she woke up
He knocked on the window, Danica slowly opened her eyes
“Laura you’re…..” She stopped when she saw him, she hissed and rested her head back on the seat
“What are you doing out here?” he asked staring at her
She was silent
“Do you want them to say that I’m a wicked person? What the Füçk Danica it’s freezing out here, do you want to get sick?” he scolded
Danica scoffed
“Don’t act as if you care, just get your black @$$ inside and allow me to stay here in peace, I’m not in your house anymore am outside and in my car,” she fired back rudely
“Get out of that car,” he said in a commanding tone
She scoffed and whined up the glass, picking up her phone she put on music before resting her head on the seat again
“Danica… Danica…. Danica,” he called tapping the window
Donovan tried opening the door but it was locked, he roughed his head frustratedly and went back inside
Laura went over to the car, she tapped the window and Danica looked at her, she scanned the whole place and when she didn’t see Donovan she rolled down the window
“I’m worried, you might get sick come sleep at my place instead, I can’t let you stay out here in this cold night,” Laura said gently
“No, I will go inside once she’s done cooking,” Danica replied
“I insist, please don’t say no,” Laura added in a pleading tone
Danica looked at her for a moment and nodded

“Anna, what did you do this time? Why did you send my wife out of my house?” Donovan demanded
Anna looked at him
“Did she say that?” She returns the question nonchalantly
“Why would you send her out? This is my house and she’s my wife….”
“Oh please don’t raise your voice at me, she’s your wife so what? You don’t even love her cos I have seen it, so what’s there? You should be happy that I’m helping you to set her straight,” Anna fired back
Donovan stared at her for a while
“Be careful,” he turned around and left
Anna laughed, clapping her hands together
“I have come to stay,” she squeezed her face
Donovan went back outside but Danica was already gone, he went outside, staring from his right hand side to the left he didn’t see anything that looks like her
“Sh|t not again,” he cursed

{NEXT MORNING ~~ ALEX’S APARTMENT}
Alex opened her door and that was just when a middle-aged man was about to knock on her door, she narrowed her gaze, staring strangely at him
Of course, she didn’t want to believe what her mind was telling her so she wanted to be sure
“Baby, I finally found you,” the man said, happily
“Excuse me, do I know you? I mean who are you?” she frowns her brows
“It’s me, don’t you remember?”
Her suspicions were true, it was him.
“I came out of jail three days ago and I have been looking for you, the only family I have left. Baby, I’m sorry….”
“You’re Sorry? FOR WHAT?” she suddenly yelled, shutting him up
He swallowed and lowered his head
“For killing her? Or for making me watch live porn? Or keeping us in the basement? For staving us? for turning her into a Sëx¥ toy? Or because you knew she was gonna have a baby? For what exactly Mr.?” she asked furious, fighting back tears
The man went closer balls of tears rolling down his eyes
“Baby it was all a misunderstand,” he tried touching her but she shifted back
