David walked out with Anna beside him, they walked over to the car not saying a single word to each other, he was able to clear her name and get her out under his father’s command
Anna entered the passenger seat expecting him to get in but he didn’t
“Go home,” he said not sparing her a glance
“Seriously,” she muttered surprised at his reaction
Without saying a word David stopped a Taxi and left
“Unbelievable,” Anna mumbled while turning on the car engine, she drove off
It wasn’t long before she stopped at the company, she made her way to the last floor.
“I was expecting to see you but I ended up seeing a David….” she stopped staring at his hand
“Oh my gawd, what happened to your hand?” she asked, squeezing up her face while settling down on the office chair
Mr. Winfrey sighed
“It’s a long story,” he replied while looking at his hand also
Though it was treated but it’s not something he can easily forget
“I got the video down,” he added and she chuckled softly
“That’s good news so what now?” she asked grinning
Mr. Winfrey chuckled and waved at her

6:12 pm * DONOVAN’S MANSION*
Danica felt someone’s hand on her tummy, she slowly opened her eyes, and her gaze met with that of Donovan who was staring at her
He was actually resting his head on her bedside but lifted it when he felt movement, his both hands resting on her naked baby bump
She looked at his hand before taking her gaze to him
“Why didn’t you say something?” he asked, caressing her baby bump while staring directly into her eyes
Danica was silent
“I would have loved her even though it wasn’t mine, why did you have to hide it?” he asked
Danica took in her lower lips and gulped nothing
She sat up, going down the bed but he suddenly held her hand and pulled her back
“I’m starving and need food,” she replied gently and took her hand from him
“I know I haven’t been a good husband but at least…”
“it was me,” she suddenly said, cutting in
He raised his brows
“The one who paid you to have s*x with her, remember when I told you that Nathan cheated? I also did the same, turns out you’re the one,” she added, her gaze fixed down
Donovan went closer
“What about your sister….”
“I lied, I was just heartbroken that I married someone who will never look at me as his wife, making me feel stupid and unwanted, forcing myself to fit In where I don’t belong,” she replied, cutting in.
Donovan was speechless
“ain’t got no twine, it’s just me and me alone,” she added
A moment of silents passed
“Thank you for bringing me back home, I should go to my room now,” she added and turned to leave but he hugged her from behind
Holding her tightly that she finds it hard to breath

David drank directly from his bottle and lowered his head, after he left the police station he has been drinking none stop
“Drinking too much alcohol is alcohol abuse and you might go to jail for that,” he heard a voice beside him and turned only to see a lady he has never met before
He ignored her
She settled down next to him without being told
“I’m Ashley by the way and you?” she offered a handshake
David glared at her face, she isn’t as beautiful as Danica, her b**ks aren’t even big as hers then what is she doing her?
“I never said you can sit,” he said rudely
“Common sense,” she replied, reaching for his tequila she took it
“Glass,” she shouted referring to the bar attendant since they were sitting at the front desk
David looked at her, he was already tipsy but he was fighting back to stay strong
“You can have it,” he said and stood
He paid the bar attendant before staggering away, Ashley chuckled staring at his back
“Oops, couldn’t get a guy? That’s disappointing,” Alex said walking over to her, she stopped right before her with a smirk lingering on her face
She has been watching them not from afar
Ashley licked her lips
“I don’t actually need him,” she replied and Alex burst out laughing
“Coming from a person who said nothing is too hard for her to do,” she laughed
“You want me to try, just give me 10 minutes and he will take me home,” she added proudly
Ashley glared at her
“And if I get him before a week?” she asked
Alex chuckled while shaking her head sideways
“Nah, a deal is a deal and you failed your first task which means….”
“If I get him to fall madly In love with me in a week you will pay me 200,000 but if I fail again then I will have to pay double,” Ashley cut in sharply
Alex dimmed her eyes and gave it a quick thought
“Deal,” she grinned staring at Ashley with those crazy looks on her face
Ashley actually said that she can get any guy of her choice in less than 30 minutes but Alex laughed at her, she wanted to prove it that’s why she came to David
“My boyfriend is coming over, sleep in a motel,” Alex shouted going over to her car
“You have nothing to worry about sweetheart,” Ashley replied and climbed an unknown bike and rode out at full speed, going after David since she could still see his back
“She’s crazy,” Alex muttered and zoomed off
