Lord Dom woke up the following morning, and left the bed to freshen up.
He couldn’t get the thoughts of Celia who looks awfully familiar off his mind but he couldn’t organize his thoughts even after thinking about it all night.

He headed to Aria’s quarter and Meg Jake by the hallway.
“Good morning, Boss,”
“How is Aria?”
“She woke up a while ago, she asked after her nanny,”
“Ok. Have you investigated what happened yesterday?”
“Yes, boss. The drink was spiked, that was how they got everyone,”
“Whenever it was know that a little spike on a drink can’t weaken me so they must have used the injection. They stopped you from the hunt because they know that you won’t take a sip from that drink,”
“Boss, it can only be Lady Bianca,”
“Yes. It can only be her,”
“But… boss, the injection attack was somehow similar to the your attack in Chicago. The doctor said that trace of the same sedative was found in your system,”
“Yeah. The symptoms are also similar. I lost the memories of the event then and now. But how is that possible? How could Bianca use the same strategy as the east?”
“Boss, we were unable to investigate that attack. We only assumed that it was from the east,”
“No, it can only be from the east. It should only be the east. We can’t have other enemies,”
“Boss, how should we handle this? This is clearly Lady Bianca’s doing,”
“One of her men got shot, right?”
“Yes,”
“How’d that happen? There is no way Aria could do that. She is clearly no match for him,”
“It’s the nanny,”
“What?”
“The position of the gun, it could only be her, and it was Diego’s gun. We should ask little lady about it,”
“No. Don’t traumatize her. Aria went through a lot yesterday, we can’t make her recap the incidence,”
“But, boss—“
“No, buts!” he snapped.
“Daddy,” they heard Aria called, approaching them.
“Aria, how are you feeling?” he asked, patting her hair ans she shook her head.
“I’m fine, Celia is the one hurt. Daddy, it won’t traumatize me. I’m not some weak little girl!”
“That’s my girl,”
“One of Bianca’s men aimed his gun at me, he wanted to shoot me, but Celia shot him instead and collapsed right after,”
“Is that what happened?”
“Yes. He said he was going to escort me to find the boar, and we left Diego behind because he was high on drugs, but instead, he tried to klll me. He said no one will know,”
“Alright, daddy will take care of him. Don’t think about it, ok?” he assured, and she nodded.
“Daddy, how is Celia?”
“She will be fine. The doctor assured us. She opened her eyes yesterday,” he said, and she smiled brightly.
“Can I see her?”
“No. Just play around your quarter till I deal with the man that aimed his gun at you. Ok?”
“Ok…” she grumbled.
“Let’s go, Jake,”

Bianca opened her eyes and pulled out the IV drip being passed to her
“Anyone there!” she shouted, and one of her men entered the room.
“My lady,”
“Where’s Jay?”
“They were able to removed the bullet, and performed surgery. The doctor assured us that he will be fine, but he is yet to wake up,”
“What? He was shot? And Aria, what happened to her?”
“She’s fine. She is in her quarter as we speak,”
“What? And Jay is unconscious? How could that happen?”
“Because your plan failed,” they heard Lord Dom said, entering the room.
“Dominic, what are you talking about?”
“Aria is not a child, she escaped homicide and can explain exactly how it happened so stop feigning ignorance!”
“What do you mean?”
“You spiked everyone’s drink,”
“Can we speak alone?” she said, and the man with her excused them.
Lord Dom gestured Jake to leave, before he left.
“What do you have to say in secret?”
“My righthand man was attacked, and Aria and that nanny from the west were the only witnesses. How will you take responsibility for that?”
“Bianca!”
“We’re here as envoys from the west, and one of my important men was attacked, who should be held responsible? You said you want to get rid of the nanny, this is it. She shot my righthand man, and I’ll get rid of her myself!” she said, and he slapped her, “Do—Dominic…” she slurred, touching her cheek
“Aria told me everything that happened. And the drinks, you’re also responsible for spiking the drinks that made everyone pass out. How will you take responsibility for that?”
“Dom… it’s supposed to be the other way round. My man was shot by that nanny that came from the east, Aria was mistaken, and that’s it,”
“You also injected me,”
“I bet you don’t remember me doing that. That nanny injected you because she was sent from the east, she spiked the drink and shot my man. That’s how it’s supposed to be, am I wrong? Whatever we decide is what I’ll report to my father. Will you reprimand me here on false accusations? Aria must be mistaken, she was probably shaken,”
“Bianca, if you have kllled all my men and take New York, I would’ve let it slide but you just declared war by hurting my daughter and I know you put everything in the line to do it! Are you really willing to lose everything?”
“We’ll be enemies either way. If I return home, I’ll be sent to the east. If I hurt your daughter I’ll still be your enemy, but if you hurt me now… you must also be willing to lose everything, including your daughter,”
“Bianca!”
“I didn’t hurt your daughter, that nanny did. She hurt everyone because she was the one with the motive, she was sent from the east. If I take her with me to the west, and relay everything that happened here to my father, the truce will never happen. It’s win-win,”
“All your men are fine, and I can see you’re doing well too. Pack up and return to the west with your men, the hunt is over and extend my greetings to your father. We discussed business during the hunt, that’s everything that happened,”
“What? Are you really going to protect that nanny? We both agreed on getting rid of her,”
“If she really came from the east, I’ll take care of it myself. Leave before I change my mind, s s never return here again. Remember, I once gave everything up, so I can do that again if I want to. Don’t mess with me,“ with that, he left the room.
She breathe heavily after he left and summoned one of her men to take her to Jay.

She entered the room that Jake was receiving treatment and met him fully up on the bed.
“Lady Bianca…” he stuttered, and she slapped him.
“Just one girl, just one little girl. I asked you to get rid of just a little girl and you failed!”
“I’ll receive my punishment,”
“Your punishment? Do you know who will be punished for this? It’s me! Fortunately, I was able to escape from Dom’s wrath, he is sending us back home. But what will I receive at home? I’ll be the one punished! I’ll be the one sent to the east so tell me how best to punish you?!”
“I won’t let it happen,”
“What? What will you stop from happening? You can’t even handle a little girl, how can you take up my father?! You’re just useless! I told you before, you’ve nothing to offer, you’re useless!” she lashed, and he clenched his fists, “What? Are you offended?”
“I’ll accept that as my punishment,”
“What will you do for me? What can you do for me?!” she snapped, and wanted to slap him again but he held her hand and placed a kiss on his.
“I’ll make you the Lady of the west,” he said, and she jabbed her hand away.
“Then do that to keep time while I’m thinking of the perfect punishment for you?”
“Yes, My Lady,” he muttered, and smirked.
“Your wound… how… how is your wound?”
“Well enough to travel back,”
“Ok. We’re leaving, now,”

Lord Dom assembled all the men that went hunting with him together, and knocked Diego down.
“You, you only had one assignment and you failed. All of you, you’re all useless!”
“I’ll receive my punishment, boss,”
“The punishment you all deserve is either I feed you to c0ward (the dogs) or I klll you myself. Choose,” he said, and they started trembling in fear.
“Boss, please give us another chance,” one of the men pleaded and the others joined in his pleas.
“Another chance? From one chance, to another chance, and another, and another. That’s how you keep on making mistakes. That’s why I don’t give second chances,” he said, and pointed his gun at one of them, “Diego, you will watch the others, before I feed you to c0ward,”
“Boss, we already caught the leader of one of the east spies in our district,” Jake interrupted, before he could pull the trigger
“East spies… they planted spies everywhere,” he said, and chuckled, looking at Jake, “Jake, you know that I never give second chances…” he grumbled and shot his gun up startling them, “You, Tom, you’ll be the carpon. Go to the east and commandeer any place there. Go with the others, get kllled there or live. Never request for backup. Just keep in touch with Jake,” he said, and they all fell on their knee in gratitude.
“We’ll never forget this, boss!”
He left with Jake and shot him a glare,, “Why did you do that? Why’d you gave them that chance?”
“Boss, you gave the orders and it’s a good decision. We need more spies in the east for the war to come,”
“The war?”
“Lady Bianca left with her men,”
“We should really anticipate the war to come,”
“Boss, your meet—“
“Jake, you aren’t my righthand man anymore, you’re serving Aria now. I’ll of my own business,”
“You just sent Tom to the east,”
“I’ve many other capable men,”
“Alright, boss,”
“That nanny, how is she?”
“She’s awake,” he said, Lord Dom’s eyes brightened.
“Let’s go to her,” he said, and Jake nodded.

They got to Celia’s ward and she tried to get up when she saw them.
“Remain in bed. Aria will be glad to see you’re fine,”
“How’s Aria?”
“She’s fine and worried about you. You should recover on time to serve her properly. She saved you,”
“No… I shot a man, I really shot a man… he dled… he really dled…”she cried, and the men looked at her wordlessly.
