Madelyn yawned for the uptenth time as she flipped through the pages of the magazine that’s with her.
She has been here since 5, reading about great models and how they became popular, but she’s just not getting it.
She yawned again, covering her mouth with her palm.
“A model must follow the required diets, a model must stick to one daily routine, a model must take workouts serious, a model mustn’t rely on makeup too much, take proper care of your natural skin instead, a model must eat balanced diet and drink water at least ten times a day, I’m doing it all… then why haven’t I been casted by the school!, This is a whole new semester for crying out loud!” She said loudly, hitting her palms on the table.
“Miss, please this is a library” one of the attendants cautioned.
“I’m sorry ok?, Just frustrated” she replied and rested her right palm on her forehead.
“Did dad take all my luck with him to jail or something?” She muttered and sighed, staring into space.
“Not like I was lucky when he was around, maybe I’m just jinxed” she smiled.
“Yeah, that must be it, I’m jinxed” she muttered with three nods, and her phone rang.
“My Bîtch?’ she smiled when she saw it’s actually Gladys.
Gladys travelled to Algeria before the beginning of this semester, and it doesn’t seem like she’ll be coming back anytime soon.
“Hey baby!” She whispered happily.
“You must be in the library again, reading about models” Gladys mocked with a light laughter.
“Stop laughing or I’ll kick your @$$ from the phone” Madelyn glared, but Gladys only laughed harder.
“Stop… please” Madelyn gritted.
“You just have to be patient, you’re not jinxed like you’ve been thinking” Gladys said.
“What do you mean?”
“You’re pretty, beautiful, cute, adorable, Sëx¥, gorgeous and…
“Stop it, I’m all red here” Madelyn blushed, and Gladys giggled.
“How’s Sydney doing?” She asked.
“I went to see her yesterday, she was still chained to her bed in the hospital when she kept trying to hurt the baby” Madelyn replied.
“Poor her,too bad she became one of Leo’s preys” Gladys said.
“How’s life in Algeria?, Should I come spend my next break with you?”
“You’re all welcome best friend!, And I got into a new model college, but I still miss MMC” Gladys replied, and Madelyn smiled.
“I miss you”
“I miss you more bestie!, Talk to you later!”
“Sure!, Later!” Madelyn blew a flying kiss and hung up, but her phone rang almost immediately.
“Who again?” She muttered, picking the unknown number.
“This is the chief judge of the audition table” a thick male voice said, and her eyes widened.
“You’re one of the models to be casted this week, for Vogue” the voice came again, and her eyes widened as she spranged up.
“Huh?!”
“You’re having the shoot on Friday, with Mavis Gregor as your partner, on behalf of chairwoman Delaney, I wish you luck”
The man hung up after saying that, and Madelyn fainted on the chair.
“Someone wake me up, I’m dreaming” she muttered, tapping herself.
She jumped up at a time, screaming out her guts.
“Argghhhhh!!!!”
“Miss!” The attendant shouted angrily.
“Füçk y’all I got casted!, Dad shame on you!!!, I got casted!!!” She screamed as she got her bag and ran out of the library, bumping on someone by the main door.
“Lyn?” Nicholas’s voice said, and she blinked as she looked up.
“Nich!”
“Heard you got casted with Mavis” he smiled.
“Yes!, For Vogue on Friday!” She gushed happily.
“Me too” he replied, and her eyes widened.
“Really?”
“Yeah. With Mavis too, we’re shooting plain males on Wednesday, for BigShot” he smiled.
“Meaning my stepbrother got casted twice this week!” She jumped.
“Yes baby” he replied.
“We’ve got to celebrate this!” She grabbed his hand and started pulling him towards her car.
“I brought my car!” He protested.
“You come back for it after I get you drunk” she winked, and he smiled as they eventually entered her car together.
“Lyn” he called when she was about to start driving.
She looked at him, and he stole a kiss from her lips.
“I’ll drive” he said afterwards, and she smiled.
“That’s not the right way to ask for the wheel”
“Well…I guess I’m holding back” he said.
“I doubt that, it’s probably because you’re a bad kisser” she said knowingly.
“What!”
“Yeah, why did you hold back after pinning me to the wall back then in Nigeria?’ she said.
“That was because you meant nothing to me back then, I can’t possibly kiss someone I don’t feel anything for” he replied before realizing.
“So…now you feel something for me?, Like I do?” She smiled, and he blinked.
“You do?”
“I do” he replied, and they started smiling at each other.
“You’re a good kisser, right?” She asked, and he held her face immediately.
He slammed his lips on hers, and she smiled before starting to respond, diving her fingers right into his blonde hair.
She was Mõ@ning throughout the three minutes kiss, and when he broke it, they were both gasping for breath.
“Am I?” He smiled.
“I need more evidence” she replied and was about to reconnect their lips when their phones rang at a time.
“Why now” she muttered as they took their phones.
After receiving the call, they faced each other, looking shocked.
“Dylan…is back?” Madelyn muttered.
Nicholas revved the engines to life and sped off immediately.

Nicholas and Madelyn rushed in at once, and they met everyone except Dylan in the living room.
“Carina, you played a trick on me, right?” Madelyn said, her arms akimbo as she breathed hard.
“Trick?” Carina smiled.
“If it’s not a trick, then where the hell is Dylan?” Nicholas said breathlessly.
“Here” Dylan said behind them, and they both looked back at once.
Dylan was holding Sweeney in his arms, and Delaney is beside him.
“What the…” Nicholas muttered.
“Füçk, hell, everything!, Like… Sh|t!” Madelyn shouted unbelievably.
“Hi mad girl, hi Nicholas!” Dylan smiled handsomely, and Madelyn went close with Nicholas.
They started checking him out the be sure he’s not plastic, and immediately they confirmed it, Madelyn punched Dylan on the arm.
“Ouch!, Are you crazy!” He shouted.
“You made Delaney cry everyday, where the hell were you punk!” She shouted in tears.
“Oh oh!, Mad girl is getting emotional” Mavis said.
“I feel like crying too” Midas pouted.
“Me too” Trevor replied.
“Me too” Lexi and Tony said at a time, and Summer hit their heads.
“Big sis!” They all chorused.
“Is it funny?” She rolled eyes as they all rubbed their heads.
“Stop crying Madelyn, he’s back, thanks to Mr Robb” Melinda said, and Mr Robb appeared with Mrs Bills.
“Thanks for saving our bad boy” Madelyn said, and he smiled.
“He’s my bad boy, please” Delaney said beside Dylan, and they all laughed.
“I want a ring too” Gigi pouted.
“Me too” Winnie said, and Nicholas blinked as he looked at Delaney’s fingers.
“Ring!!!” He screamed with Madelyn.
“Though the punk proposed without our consent, we still have to plan the wedding, best in town” Midas said.
“Delaney Wang Weds Dylan Bills” Mrs Bills said.
Naomi came in with Sammy immediately.
“Aww!, Baby you took so long” Summer rushed to give him a hug.
“So sorry, I got squeezed up at work” Sammy smiled.
“How could you hug her without my consent!” Andy shouted, rushing downstairs.
“Little brother-in-law” Sammy carried him, and he frowned.
“Jerky big brother Dylan took Laney crush away, and now you’ll take my big sis away too?” He said.
“Jerky?” Dylan muttered.
“Grow up fast, so you’ll take someone’s daughter away too” Sammy stroked Andy’s hair.
“Hey!, Babe what are you doing here!” Naomi said surprisingly when she saw Mavis.
“This is my friend’s place” Mavis replied in same tone.
“Wait… you’re Dylan’s friend?”
“What’s happening?” Summer faced them.
“My boyfriend I told you about” Naomi replied, and all eyes widened.
“How can a twenty two years ago lady date a twenty years old guy?” Summer said.
“Age is just a number please…and besides, I love her like d@mn” Mavis replied, blowing kisses to Naomi.
“I love you more sugarcane!” Naomi blew back the kisses, and Mrs Bills laughed with Mr Robb.
“So after Dylan and Delaney, it’s Summer and Sammy” Delaney said.
“Then Naomi and Mavis” Mavis said.
“Then Lydia and Tishe, my parents got back together!” Gigi announced.
“OMG!!!!” Everyone screamed.
“What’ll Joshua say at a time like this?” Lexi said.
“Opor!” Midas and Gigi shouted at a time.
“Meaning?” Dylan asked.
“It’s plenty!!!” They all screamed.
“I must go to Nigeria soon” Delaney said, and they all laughed.
“That reminds me, don’t you guys want a lively entry at the wedding? Should I contact a Nigerian-American DJ?, With a mix of Nigerian and American songs” Gigi said.
“I don’t mind” Dylan said, and Sweeney giggled in his arms.
“Let’s start planning the wedding” Mrs Bills said.
“Yes!!!!!!!!!”
