•Ottawa~A Mansion•
The mansions exterior shows that the owners are super rich.
The masion combines glass,steel and concrete, creating a bold contrast of transparency and strength.
We’re not going inside but we know the interior will be remarkable just by taking glimpse of the floor-to-ceiling windows stretch across the façade.
There are trimmed lawns,a massive pool in the large compound,palm trees situated at a far end,a wide driveway leading to the gigantic mansion.
Going to the garden which is behind the mansion is another world itself.
Children playground, shooting range, longue…
A young boy aimed a pistol to the target.
He’s dressed like a trainee. Shooting glasses and ear muffs.
He shot three times and didn’t miss target.
Logan got to him and patted him, smiling a little.
He removed the glasses and ear muffs, dropped them together with the gun and stared at his dad.
“I’m fúcking good”he said.
“I know,Liam”Logan nodded once.
That’s Liam. The first child of Logan and Stephanie. A weirdo to be precise.
Cold. Quiet. Calm.
He’s never smiled and Stephanie sometimes wonder if he’s hiding something,but he’s not.
He’s just like his father.
Logan held Liam’s shoulder and they started walking to the main garden— the relaxing spot.
They got to a wide mat spread on the grass under a palm tree and they sat down there.
“Who’s hungry?!”Stephanie appeared with a picnic basket.
Finn is beside her,he has chicken wing in his right hand and he kept on chewing,not minding his oily mouth.
Finn is the second and maybe last child of Logan and Stephanie.
Unlike Liam who is cold as ice,Finn is always happy. A jovial and happy five year old.
And his lookalike? Not at all like Stephanie.
He’s the exact replica of Stephan. This is Stephan’s little self.
Stephan is reborn,no doubt.
“I am!”Finn pouted, rubbing his belly.
Liam scoffed and Stephanie laughed, pulling off her apron and setting the food for the picnic. Logan joined her.
Not for anything but to touch her hair. Cause he’s barely arranging.
“Don’t be silly, Stephan. You’re not hungry”Stephanie said. Yeah,she calls him Stephan almost all the time.
“I am. You know I spent all day with you in the kitchen. I’m drained, exhausted, I’ll faint”Finn fell on the mat, licking his hand.
“Oh,shut the füç? up. You’ve been in the kitchen with Mom. Who knows if you’ve eaten almost all the food. What am I even saying? Your mouth and hands says it”Liam said.
“And where were you? Weren’t you being a ghost. Killing invisible ghosts?”Finn fired.
“Watch it,I’m three years older”Liam warned.
“That’s enough”Logan snapped.
“Warn the little boy”Liam muttered and picked a spoon.
“Ohh,you can eat”Finn muttered but a glare from Logan made him pick his spoon too.
Stephanie sat properly,not bothering to say anything about the brothers silly argument.
She picked her spoon and dressed her long hair cause her hair kept falling.
“I’ll help”Logan offered. He dressed her hair in a pony tail and kissed her lips deeply.
“Thanks Poohbear”she grinned.
He kissed her again and that made Liam roll his eyes.
He focused on his food.
But Finn? He grinned.
“Love!”he clapped.
Stephanie had one motive— to go to Kings College, disguised as a guy to find her brother’s killer.
Fate had another motive— she’d go to Kings College,find Fire and know the truth.
Stephanie at last,didn’t just find out the truth. She found love too.
And this love isn’t gonna die anytime soon.
It’ll never die.
