Chairman Hewlett summoned Dylan to his office to ask questions regarding Charles. He made Dylan put up someone to keep an eye on Charles.
“Dad, there is nothing on Charles. He has been doing the same thing as usual,”
“And people? Who are the new people he met after the anniversary and before it? Dylan, no information must be taken for granted. Charles is aware of what he owns, if he stand up for it, we won’t stand a chance,”
“Dad, don’t be daunt, Charles really…”
“What?”
“I remember. He visited the hospital,”
“What? He did? When? Was he sick?”
“Not that,”
“He went to the director,”
“He is our family’s doctor,”
“He isn’t Charles doctor,”
“What did he do there?”
“He had a word with the director, and fired one of the doctors,”
“What? Why?”
“I don’t know,”
“And you didn’t care to find out?!”
“Dad, he is just a doctor,”
“Charles is getting too involved! Crystal built that hospital under the foundation, but I managed to make it a part of the group. What if he finds that out? He is clueless, he has to be kept in the dark forever. But now he is even involved in firing someone?!”
“Dad, I think it’s because of a girl,”
“What girl?”
“I’m not sure… maybe his new girl,”
“You didn’t find that out either?”
“Dad, if I have to dig into every single lady that Charles meet in a day, I won’t be able to fulfill my duty at work,”
“Then do that! Quit! Because if Charles ever claim his rights, there will be no space for you here anyways,”

“And Mr. Sauto?”
“He left for Japan last night. Charles was trying to trick you, and you fell in his trap,”
“That immature brat is really not a kid anymore,”
“I believe he pulled those strings because he wants to move out,”
“I still want you to find out about that doctor he fired and the girl. Charles will never take such actionfor a lady, he rather find a new one,”

“He has been with more than three women after his visit to the hospital,”

“Just keep a close watch on him. And the girl… if you can find time,”

“When will your grandfather be back?”

“I’ll be on mg way now,” with that he left, and met his mother by the door.
“What happened?”
“It’s just Charles,”
“Anything to be worried about?”
“Dad is just worried for nothing,”
“You should get back to work,”
“Yes, mum,” with that, he left.

Ivy looked at Charles who quickly compose himself before looking away.
“I apologize for raising my voice,” he muttered, and she shook her head.
“It’s nothing. I’m just startled because you seem overly concerned,”
“How did she really dled?”
“I also don’t know. Mr. Josh told me that it was a car accident. Her car fell over the bridge. I was told,”
“Over the bridge?” Violet gasped.
“And it wasn’t on his birthday?”
“It wasn’t. It was two weeks after,”
“I heard that she dled on his birthday, when she returned from her business trip,”
“I didn’t know that she went on a business trip. I was at school, and we don’t usually communicate. I wasn’t close to my sister at all. So you kinda have more informations than I do,”
“Oh…”
“How did you know all these?”
“Ermmm… oh, this? I just heard. I randomly heard it. It wasn’t in my dream,”
“Oh, I would’ve imagined. Thanks a lot for coming to my rescue,”
“Don’t mention Ivy, I’ll always show up when you are in danger,”
“But I still wonder why you dream about me, do you dream about others as well?”
“I wonder too,” he winked, and she chuckled. “Do you think it’s fate?” he asked, and Violet knocked his head.
“I actually don’t believe in those stuffs of fate and others “
“You don’t believe dream either,”
“Maybe I do now,” she said, and he chuckled.
“You should get going now. I wish I could give you a ride, but—“
“You can give me some cash instead,” she said, and he chuckled.
“I don’t have cash on me now, I used it all on that son of a bltch. I’ll transfer some to you instead,” he said, and she smiled.
He transferred a huge amount to her, and she gasped.
“What? No, how… oh, my. How can I ever repay this?”
“By staying out of trouble,” he winked.
“This is really too much,”
“I have to get going now,”
“Yeah, I should leave too. Thank you,” she said, and embraced him.
He patted her back gently and withdraw from the embrace before she left.
“You really transferred an amount that big?” Violet gasped.
“That was my transfer limit,”
“So you would have transferred more,” she teased.
“What Do you think?”
“Why did you transferred that much to her? And what do you want in return?”
“Peace. I was serious when I asked her to stay out of trouble. I never transfer money to any woman I’m interested in. I rather use cash or give them my card,”
“So, my sister is different?”
“I told you I’m not interested in innocent girls,”
“But you could give out money to them,”
“Because she is your sister,”
“Because she is my sister?”
“Let’s forget about that. You weren’t completely honest with me about yourself and also made me make a fo0l out of myself,” he said, and drove off.
“I don’t understand either. That was the last thing I remembered,”
“A ghost with missing memory. Who is going to diagnose that?”
“Something must’ve happened,”
“I’m not interested,”

“It’s not like I can do anything about it,”
“That’s because you don’t want to do anything,”

“That I won’t bother you to get my revenge, but now I felt like I don’t know what I wanted to avenge. Leave first, I’ll find my way,” with that, she disappeared.
“Violet,” he called in a low whisper before driving off.

He arrived home and started looking for Violet but he couldn’t find her.
“Where could be have gone to?” he thought.
He waited for her till nightfall and went to bed after waiting tirelessly.
He except to see her when he open his eyes, but she wasn’t there so he started to panic.
“Did she finally decide to leave on her own? Going back on our agreement,” he thought when he heard a knock on the door.
“Don’t come in,” he muttered, and Mr. Feng went in.
“Good morning, sir,”
“Didn’t you hear me?”
“What’s bothering you, sir?”
“It’s her,”
“Who? Your new girlfriend? I thought you broke up with Martha,”
“Good for you to know the names of all the girls I have dated and currently dating, but you don’t even know the one bothering me, because you can’t see her,”
“She? The ghost?”
“She disappeared since yesterday,”
“Did something happened between you two?”
“She said she did leave first, but I don’t know were she went,”
“Sir… maybe you should just forget about her. If she decides to leave on her own, it’s for the good of all,”

“You know where to find me, sir,” having said that, he excused himself leaving Charles to think.

Maxwell returned home from a meeting and met Ella in the room engrossed with her computer.
“Hi, babe,” he whispered in her ear, and kissed her neck softly.
“Welcome,”
“You seems restless,”
“It’s Ivy’s account,”
“What about it?”
“We had all her money taken out, remember?”
“So?”
“Someone sent some money to her, not a little sum, look at it “
“What? Who—“
“Charles Hewlett,”
“That’s interesting,”
“Interesting ? Aren’t you worried that there could really be something going on between them? No! There is something between them, and this proves it. He dealt with the doctor, and now this. I even looked into her scholarship, he is also the one sponsoring her anonymously! While you are here thinking all these is interesting, I’m all worked up putting the pieces together,”
“Ella, Ivy can’t beat us. The inauguration ceremony is tomorrow, and I’ll unveil the new name of our company then. I don’t need all this worries now, we should be celebrating our future together,” he said, creasing her cheeks.
“You don’t get it, Maxwell!” she shouted, and stood up to face him.
“I don’t want to. I have missed you so much and the only thing I can think about now is you,” he said, and she let out a sigh.
He pulled her closer to himself, showering her face with kisses before moving her to the bed.
“If Ivy collide with that Hewlett to bring us down, we are no match for them, we—“ she was saying, but he cut her off with a kiss.
She struggled to free herself from him until she succeed, and she slapped him back to his senses.
“Ella!”
“Just listen to me!”
“You have been repeating the same thing over! What do you want me to do about that? You said it yourself, we are no match for them,”
“That’s why we must not let it happen!”
“What shouod I do?”
“Get rid of Ivy,”
“Never! Ivy is no threat to me, so just leave the girl alone. Isn’t it enough that we are making her suffer? I can’t,”
“I’m not asking you to klll her, just send her away. Abroad or wherever, away from us,”
“Ivy is not a child, her consent is needed for everything, so I can’t ship her away as I please,”
“Then give her an offer that she can’t refuse,”
“What? She refused everything I offered. I told you this girl is not a child! She might not seem like it, but she is smarter than her sister, she is smarter than we assume,”
“Send her back to music school,”
“You made her drop out,”

“Music school? Is that all?”
“Why am I the only one worried here?”
“Because I’m burning up! Can’t you see you?” he yelled, and she chuckled.
“I have been worked up on this all day, so I need to shower. Care to join?” she winked, and his face brightened up immediately.

Charles stayed in door all day waiting for Violet till nightfall, and he eventually fell asleep. He woke up later hoping to see her next to his bed but she wasn’t there.
He left the bed in disappointment, and went to freshen up before returning to his room.
He found himself thinking about her again and started to worry, wondering her she actually dled, so he took him laptop to look it up.
The first news trending news about the Holts was the inauguration ceremony of the new CEO, and unveiling of thier new name.
He took his remote immediately, and turned on his TV to watch the news of the inauguration ceremony that is currently going on.
“Martin’s enterprise,” he heard Violet said from behind, and he turned to look at her immediately.
“Where have you been? Why did you suddenly disappeared? I was so worried!”
“About me?”
“Ermmm… I mean…. Yes! I was worried about you. You said you would leave first, you never said you’d leave for 2 days,”
“I was just trying to gather my thoughts, I can’t seems to remember what happened in those two weeks,”
“Are you really worried about that?”
“Maxwell already claimed the company, I can’t possibly get my vengeance alone, so at least I should have my complete memories to make it fair,” she said, and Charles patted her shoulder.
“Can’t you just forget about everything?”
“Why? Because there is nothing I can do?”
“I’m just asking. You’re a ghost, if you let go of your vengeance you will be able to cross to afterlife, you won’t have to wander around aimlessly,”
“It might be easy for you to say,”
“I know. But you are suffering for nothing. Look at them, they will get married soon, and your sister will also find her own life. Can’t you just forget about it and move on?”
“I can’t. I believe this is my punishment,”
“Then I’ll help you,” he said, and she looked at him.
“What did you say?”
“I won’t repeat it,”
“You wili help me?”
“You did nothing wrong, you only trusted the wrong people so why should you suffer for it?”
“You will really help me…”
“I don’t know how, but—“ he was saying, and she caught him off guard with a hug.
Her body felt so cold on his, he felt really uncomfortable and wish to pull away but he found himself wrapping his arms around her.
