Violet and Ivy left later and Charles returned to his room to revised the documents that Mr. Feng sent him in preparation before thier confrontation with his father.
He was engrossed in it when Jayden appeared in his room.
“Vee I sn’t here,”
“I know. Should I go to her?” Jayden teased, and Charles held him immediately.
“No!” he shouted.
“How long have you known her?”
“What do you care?”
“You should answer one of my questions at least,”
“You can see I’m busy,”
“When did it start?”
“What?”
“Your feelings for Vee,” he said, and Charles looked at him.
“Don’t think of denying it,”
“I won’t,”
“Wow. You admit to it?”
“I’m not a c0ward,”
“Loving a ghost? Seriously?”
“What about you?”
“What about me exactly?”
“When did it start?”
“If you’re asking the same question as I, you’re mistaken,”
“So, why are you doing all these?”
“Are you doing this because you love her?”
“I asked first!” Charles snapped
“I’m bored. It’s just another thing to keep me busy, and I enjoy it. There is very little I can do wandering around. Playing hero is pretty fun,”
“Not because you want something in return?”

“I don’t know when it started but I was freaking scared of her at the beginning. I just wanted her to leave, I don’t want to get involved but later, my heart softened, I realized that I wanted her to leave not because I was scared of her hurting me, but I was scared that I won’t be able to help her. And when I changed my mind, it was all there, the feelings. I don’t know how it started, but I won’t deny it,”
“Wow. That’s a pretty speech,”
“So back to you. You aren’t really doing this because you want something in return?”
“What would I want from a fellow ghost?”
“Why are you wandering around?”
“Now, that’s cheating. I have no question to ask back,”

“Stop calling her that!” Charles shouted, and Jayden winked again before leaving.
“Such a nutcase,” he grumbled, and returned to work.

Ivy was heading to class when Carolyn walked up to her.
“Hi, Ivy,” Carolyn waved.
“You’re back in there?” Ivy asked delightedly.
“You guess. You’re smart now,” Violet said, and embraced her.
“I’m so happy, sis,” Ivy said.
“Come on. We’re gonna be late for class,” with that, they both headed to class together.
They met Bryan on their way to class, and he looked away the moment he saw them.
“Such a scaredy-cat,” Ivy teased.
“A girly boy,” Carolyn/Violet shouted, and Bryan glared at them.
“Do you want one?” she threatened, making a fist and he looked away in fear.
“Just ignore him,” Ivy said, and they both laughed.
They were heading to the next class after they rounded up the first, and Jon approached them on thier way.
“Hi, Jon,” Ivy waved.
“Hi,” Carolyn waved too, but he glared at her before looking at Ivy.
“My bad, I almost forgot that you don’t fancy me,” she grumbled.
“Really, Ivy?”
“Jon, I can explain. Carolyn is actually a good person,”
“And we are having this conversation right now, with her?”
“Sis, excuse me for a minute,” Ivy said, and Jon scoffed.
“Alright,”

They both went to a more discreet place together and she exhaled heavily.
“I don’t want to fight with you,” Ivy said.
“Neither do I. I’m just looking out for you. Stay away from that wltch, is that too much to ask?”
“She isn’t a wltch !”
“Yeah, you called her sis, you must’ve gotten closer. Get a grip, Ivy! The whole school knows that girl is a wltch, she has been a freshman for three years, I met her at this school. What do you think she is to be that way? She is so weird,”
“Then weirdo would do. But trust me, I’m safe with her,”
“Ivy…”
“We won’t have this conversation again. I’m late for class,” with that, she intend to leave but he dragged her back.
“Does this mean we are having issues? I don’t want to fight you,”
“Neither do I. But we will keep fighting if you keep this up with Carolyn. I like her. As weird as she is, I like her,”
“Ok,”
“Really?”
“I love you, and you like her. I won’t ask you to stay away from her anymore, but I won’t stop looking out for you,” he said, and she kissed him.

Carolyn/Violet stood by somewhere waiting for Ivy when Jayden suddenly appeared.
“Here you are waiting while your sister is getting kissed,” he teased.
“Gosh. Must you act nosy?I’m human now,”
“You really think you’ll be able to leave?”
“Carolyn said it would work,”
“Your sister’s boyfriend doesn’t really fancy you,”
“Yeah. He has issues with Carolyn being a wltch,”
“You think she is?”
“Then I should think Charles is as well. They’re just special people that can see us,”
“You shouldn’t be too close to Charles,”
“Out of the blues,”
“I mean… he is getting too fond of you,”
“Because of what happened earlier. That’s just Charles being the punk he is,”

“What’re you assuming?”

“Your friends are back,” with that, he teleported away.
“Who are you talking to?” Jon asked, and Violet looked at him.
“We’re late for class, Jon. Come on, sis,” Ivy said, and held Carolyn’s hand but Jon dragged her back.
“Seriously, Ivy…” Jon said.
“We already talked about this, Jon. Please…” with that, she left with Carolyn.

Ella met Mr. Josh at a discreet place without Maxwell knowing.
“Miss Blake, we have a problem,”
“I know. We only meet whenever there is a problem,”
“The truck driver has been arrested,”
“How is that my problem?”
“Ma’am?”
“You said he was going to do a good job. You made the transactions, and he failed. Now he is caught. How is that my problem?”
“Do you’ve no fear, Miss Blake?”
“Are you scared that he is going to confess that you instigatedhim, and once you’re arrested, you are trying to threaten me? You got the wrong person, Mr. Josh. Both you and Maxwell, you’re both too slow,”
“What are you insinuating?”
“What side are you, Mr. Josh? Because clearly Maxwell and I are both on different side so tell me which side you are,”

“Management rights in Martins’ enterprise. I’ll make you the CEO,”

“That’s why I said Maxwell and I aren’t on the same side. So, will you take my side or drown with him? He is not obedient anymore,” she said, and Mr. Josh chuckled.

Violet returned home from school and was able to leave Carolyn’s body easily like Jayden does.
“I did it!” she shouted, and embraced Carolyn.
“Yeah. I told you it will work,”
“I was really frightened that it wouldn’t. Let’s go see Charles reaction,” Violet said, and Carolyn nodded.

Charles hurried to the living room when Mr. Feng informed him about Carolyn’s arrival, and saw her in the living room.
“Hi,” Carolyn waved.
“Vee?”
“What do you mean?”
“You’re Vee, don’t try to fo0l me,” he said, and went to embrace her.
“How can you tell?”
“I told you not to possess her body, what if you get stuck there again?”
“I can’t,” she muttered.
“You’re really confident,” he teased, and she left the body immediately.
“See?” Violet said.
“Woah. What? How did you do it?” he exclaimed.
“How Jayden does it,“
“How come you’ve such confidence that you would leave?”
“I have tried it before coming out,”
“Carolyn, thank you,” Charles said, and Carolyn smiled.
“Are you that happy that I can do it now?”
“Jayden acts all superior. Now you can do it too. How was school today? Who attended?”
“I,”
“How was school today?” he asked, and they both took a seat.
“Fine. Had fun with Ivy but just her boyfriend, he doesn’t like me that much,”
“That jerk. I don’t think he likes me either,”
“Yeah, he doesn’t like people easily,”
“Hope he is treating your sister well?”
“Why are you so concerned?”
“What?”
“Forget it. About the documents Mr. Marson sent to you, I hope it’s going well?”
“Yeah. We will have a meeting with my father before the next board meeting. Dad wants us to take things rationally,”
“I should go to Carolyn,”
“Wait,” he said, and held her back.
“What?”
“Nothing. You can go,”
She went to Carolyn’s room and met her doing nothing in particular.
“Hi,” she waved.
“I thought you had something to discuss with Charles,”
“Nothing really,”
“He really care about you a lot,”
“He does. You don’t want to hear about my efforts to get that,”
“I could have imagined. Seeing ghosts is really scary to some people,”

“I don’t know,”
“Why do they all think you’re a wltch?”
“Because that’s what everyone thought,”
“Are you?” Violet asked, and she looked at her. “No offense, Carolyn. I don’t believe in wltches, I mean I didn’t believe in ghosts either but look were we are now,”
“I’m not a wltch,”
“You’re just like Charles but others can’t understand,”
“I’m different from Charles. I’m sort of a shaman or what can I call it,”
“A shaman?”
“Yeah, kinda. I know you can’t believe me but that’s what I am. My grandmother was a shaman, it’s a gift passed down from ancestors. From my maternal home and it’s passed down for centuries to the female children only,”
“Oh,”
“Apart from seeing ghosts, is there other things you can do?”
“I can read fortunes,”
“Really?”
“I haven’t really tried it before, but I think I can,”
“Then try with me,” they heard Charles said, entering the room.
“Charles,” Violet called.
“I don’t mean to eavesdrop. But you left me like you had something important to discuss with Carolyn. If you are offended, leave my house,”
“Is that a way to apologize?” Violet snapped.
“I’ll allow you read my fortune little miss shaman. I have been always curious about the future. That’s apology from my end,”
“Are you for real?” Violet asked.
“Let the shaman do her job,”
“I have never tried this before,” Carolyn said.
“As long as you won’t hurt me, there is no harm in trying. What do I have to do?”
“Your hand,” she said, and he extended his hands to her.
She murmured some words to herself and started reading his palm, but she jotted off immediately, and relapsed him.
“What did you see?” Charles and Violet asked, and she looked at Violet.
“Why’re you all gathered here?” Jayden said, appearing in the room.
“Why are you so nosy?” Charles snapped.
“I have a good news and a bad one,” Jayden said.
“What’s it?” Violet asked.
“The good or the bad. Which do you want to hear first?”
“The bad one,” Charles said.
“Maxwell is gonna get arrested,”
“Really?” Violet asked, with brightened eyes.
“How is that a bad news?” Charles asked
“Because Ella is dumping everything on him. She manipulated the trunk driver to confess that it was Maxwell’s doing,”
“So?” Charles asked.
“And the good news?” Violet asked too.
“We caught one of them,” he said.
“I don’t understand you really. How is this different news?” Charles said.
“Ella is trying to dump all the shit on Maxwell, she is on this with that traitorous secretary. If Maxwell carries the blame, she will be the one in-charge, she has been the master planner the whole time. Maxwell doesn’t even have anything to do with the accident,”
“I don’t see how this is bad news but I agree with you. Getting them both is the goal, but now that we’ve gotten one, it’s a sign that we’re steps ahead,” Charles said.
“I agree with Jayden. Getting Ella is the main target. She introduced Maxwell to me, she instigated our relationship, she had this planned all along and Maxwell is just a scapegoat that she can get rid off when he becomes useless,” Violet said.
“What do we do then?” Charles asked.
“I don’t know,” Jayden muttered.
“Since you don’t know let’s celebrate this victory. Let’s consider this a win. You finally got your revenge on your cheating husband. You won, Vee,” he said, and she forced a smiled.

Maxwell alighted from his car at the parking lot and Ella ran to him.
“Maxwell, we have a problem,” she said.
“What?”
“Police offers are here,”
“What? Because of Violet? How did they get evidence?”
“Mr. Maxwell Martin, you’re under arrest for attempted of Mr. Charles Hewlett,” the prosecutor said, handcuffing him.
“What? What are you talking about?”
“Don’t worry, Maxwell. I already called our lawyer,” Ella said.
“Let me go, I didn’t do anything. Ella, do something!” Maxwell shouted, as the officers lead him away and Ella smirked evilly.
