Charles returned to his car and Violet sat next to him in the backseat.
“What do we do now?” Violet asked.
“It’s settled. Mr. Marson will help me with my case, and he will also work on yours alone. It’s all a win,”
“But it doesn’t work that way. It’s not that easy. I can’t even remember what really happened to me,”
“So what do you want me to do?! He clearly matched us out of his office, he won’t listen to me. He is determined to work on this alone. I had enough Vee, in as much as I want to help you, I can’t do it alone and Mr. Marson don’t want to work with us!”
“There has to be something, Charles…”
“But there is nothing,”
“There has to be a way,”
“Go find it. All of this happened because of you anyways,”
“Yeah, and I’ll find a way to sort it,”
“Mr. Marson still believes that everything is magic. He doesn’t believe you exist,”
“He doesn’t want to believe it so he is trying to find all ways to oppose its accuracy. We’ve to make him trust us again,”
“Let’s lay low for now. Let’s see how far he can go alone,”
“He won’t come to us even if he falls back,”
“I know. I know men like him,”
“But you still want us to do nothing,”
“Because there is nothing we can do!” he snapped, and she exhaled heavily, staring outside the window.
The rest of the ride was in silence until they arrived home and were startled to see a man in the living room.
“Who…” Violet shuddered.
“He is a ghost,” Charles muttered running his finger through his hair in frustration.
“What is he doing here?” Violet grumbled.
“He knows I can see him,”
“Hi, that was a long walk,” the ghost man said.
“What do you want?” Violet asked.
“I assumed that you were finally able to leave that body,”
“You knew I possessed a body?”
“It’s nice meeting you again. I’m Jayden,”
“It’s not nice to meet you. Kindly show yourself out because I have a harmful substance that can do that miracle,” Charles threatened.
“You don’t. You would’ve used it on her if you do,”
“How… do you know that?” Violet shuddered.
“I guessed,”
“You said it’s nice meeting us again… I don’t remember meeting you before,”
“You almost hit me with your car the other day,”
“That was you?”
“Thanks to you, I knew you could see me so I followed you. I’ve been following you since then,”
“You followed us?”
“I sat at the backseat. You can’t see me through the mirror, and you didn’t look back either. You aren’t so cautious for someone who could see the invisible. I could’ve clawed on you if I was an evil spirit,” he said, looking at Charles who has been quiet since.
“What do you want from us?”
“Nothing. It’s just cute to see a human who can see ghosts, and a ghost who doesn’t know how to be one,”
“What do you mean by that?”
“Can the both of you step out and catch up?” Charles snapped.
“Relax, man. You could as well join in the conversation,”
“I have no business with you,”
“Neither do I. Come with me, Vee. We can catch up somewhere private,” Jayden said and held Violet’s hand, together they teleport away.
“Gosh, that startled me. But Vee… why would he call her that? Where on earth did he take her?” Charles mumbled, heading to his room.

Ella reviewed all the information Mr. Marson sent to her about Carolyn, and looked at Maxwell who has been trembling in fear.
“Are you sure she is the anonymous person?” he asked.
“It could only be her,”
“What do we do? I don’t think Mr. Josh is the one behind her, there has to someone else. There is someone out there who knows that we murdered Violet,”
“Will you give it a rest?! Thanks to you Ivy is now aware of everything,”
“She haven’t returned home since then,”
“She is just lurking around somewhere. It’s not like she can do anything with what she heard without evidence,”
“What evidence does she need? How can we get the evidence? If there is one, we should destroy it before anyone get a hold on it,”
“What nonsense are you spouting?”
“We kllled her, we really did,”
“So?”
“Where can we find the evidence?”
“Why would we need that?”
“To destroy it,”
“Get a grip, Maxwell! Why would there be evidence to destroy? We erased the CCTV camera, there was nothing,”
“But… she dled two weeks after my birthday,”
“So?”
“She didn’t dle here, nor the car accident,”
“Maxwell! What has gotten into you?!” Ella snapped, grabbing him by his collar.
“Ella, why did you grab me that way?” Maxwell asked.
Violet and Jayden who were in the room shook thier heads and teleport away.
“How did you do that?” Violet asked, amazed.
“I simply possessed his body and left. I thought we could get something but that girl is so smart,”
“Just like that. The last time I accidentally possessed someone, I couldn’t leave the body until I fell down that…”
“Escalator heroine,”
“I wonder how she is doing,”
“Should we go and check on her?” he asked, and she shook her head.
“She will be fine,”
“Confirming that won’t be that bad,”
“No. I can’t. I don’t know how to show myself to her,”
“Can she see you?” he asked, and she nodded.
“Wow. How long have you been a ghost to have two people who can see you?”
“Everything happened accidentally. And… I never had a conversation with Carolyn before she tried to commit sulcide,”
“What if she tries to hurt herself again?”
“I hope she doesn’t,”
“We can never be sure,”
“What about you? I told you all about myself but you said nothing about yours,”
“Me? What are you curious about?”
“Everything. Your ghost life and all,”
“It was an accident,”
“Why are you wandering about? Since possessing human is easy for you, you could always use it to your advantage,”
“I wish it could really help but it doesn’t all the time,”
“You have a story behind that,”
“Not that. Some people are not vulnerable so they can’t be possessed, and possessing people can also be risky. When ghost keeps on possessing human body without caution, that could make your soul… why am I even telling you this? You don’t even know how it’s done,”
“There seems to be more to this,”
“I gotta go. See you around,” with that, he teleport away.
“Hey! Where are you going?” she shouted.

Ivy and Jon retired to rest at a restaurant and also have dinner after searching for a comfortable studio apartment all day.
“I can’t imagine living in those apartments,” she complained, sipping from her glass of water.
“You’re yet to tell me your reasons for leaving home,” he said, and she smiled.
“If I tell you, you won’t be the same anymore,”
“What do you mean?”
“You’ll have to become a murder,”
“Am I supposed to laugh to that?”
“Never mind it then,”
“You really don’t want to tell me,”
“I don’t want to tell anyone,”
“How are you going to make a living alone?”
“I have been surviving alone ever since,”
“You’re very discreet about yourself,”
“Jon. I will glad if you respect that. My life is already complicated as it is, talking about it will only make me feel more pathetic,”
“I understand,” he muttered.
Her phone rang later, and she checked the caller’s ID surprised to see it’s Mr. Marson. He haven’t been in touch with her since she heard about his resignation, she thought of reaching out to him when she heard Maxwell’s confession but she didn’t want to bother him, seeing his call now surprised her.

Charles woke up from bed the following day and was startled to see Violet next to him.
“Gosh. I thought you found a new partner and decide to leave with him!”
“Are you upset because I left with Jayden yesterday?”
“That’s really none of my concern,”
“Jayden is actually a cool guy and he knows a lot about possessing and all. He even successfully possessed Maxwell and left his body right after. We could use his help,”
“Then you should’ve made him file a report and end this shlt,”
“If possible we would have. But we need evidence. He can’t stay in the body for too long either to avoid the worst,”
“So, why are you here? You’ve already found a suitable person that can help you so why are bothering me?!”
“We can use Jayden’s help,”
“Can he posses Mr. Marson to convince him? If he can’t, then this conversions is meaningless,”
“But Charles—…”
“What if there is another way to make him believe everything?” Jayden said, appearing inside.
“Gosh. Now I’m bombarded by ghosts,” Charles grumbled.
“Nah. I can’t call this bombarding but a meeting,”
“Mr. Marson won’t listen to us, so how do we convince him?” Violet asked.
“Then use your last card,” Jayden said.
“Just get to the point!” Charles snapped
“Can I have the room?” Jayden winked, and they both paid attention to whatever he has to say.

Carolyn has been wandering around since she was discharged, she tried to understand everything that happened to her and her only conclusion was possession. Her body is vulnerable to spirits, but she was never possessed before. She has been haunted by ghosts for almost her entire life and couldn’t live a normal life because of them but that was the first time she was possessed by one. The thought of her body wandering around and doing good deeds when she doesn’t even know what was going on baffles her a bit but she shoved the thoughts away and look at the brighter side; that was a great way to escape reality.
The ghosts left her body after spending all the money she had but she at least had some conscience left to send her belongings and the clothes she probably bought with her money.
“Is the ghost trying to tell me to change my wardrobe and wander around homeless?” she thought, staring at the night sky.
She was discharged in the morning and she couldn’t think of anywhere to go penniless, all she could do was wander around until night falls, and she started thinking of a place to lay her head.
Three people suddenly appeared in front of her, one of them held her hand and together they appeared at a rooftop.
“What— what are you?” she shuddered in fear.
She recognized one of them as the ghost following Ivy around, and the other was the guy in the viral video she was but she don’t know who the other ghost was.
“I told you this was a bad idea,” Charles grumbled.
“Carolyn, I know everything that happened must be really confusing to you—“ Violet was saying.
“You were the one who possessed my body, you are the ghost,” Carolyn cut in.
“Oh, she figured it out. How smart,” Jayden said.
“You must be Knowledgeable about ghosts as well,” Charles said.
“What do you want from me?” Carolyn snapped.
“Believe it or not Carolyn, possessing your body wasn’t in my best interest. It happened accidentally and now there is more to it,” Violet said.
“Why are we having this conversation right now?” Carolyn blurted.
“We don’t have time, we have less than 10 minutes for our meeting,” Charles said.
“Miss Carolyn, we’re glad that you understood the whole thing so we have nothing much to explain. In as much as we need your permission, we are in a hurry right now. So we will explain the situation later. Get to it, Vee,” Jayden said.
“Don’t call her Vee!” Charles snapped.
“I’m sorry Carolyn, I’ll be able to leave this time and explain everything later,” Violet said, and possessed Carolyn’s body.
“Let’s go. You’re late for the meeting,” Jayden said.
“I’ll call Mr. Feng. Where on earth are we?” Charles said.
“I don’t know, but I know where you’re heading. There is no time for this,” jayden said, and held thier hands, together, they all appeared in front of Mr. Marson’s office, where he wanted to meet.
“Gosh, that’s so risky!” Charles shouted.
“But fast,” Jayden winked. “See you around,”
“Wait. Aren’t you coming with us? He can’t even see you so there is no problem,”
“I have no business in boring meetings. I can’t imagine myself attending one as a ghost. See you around,” with that, he disappeared.
Charles and Violet/Carolhn went in and were surprised to meet Mr. Marson in company of Ivy.
“Charles… Carolyn… why are you two here?” Ivy asked
“Mr. Marson, why is Ivy here?” Charles asked.
“Are they the ones you told me about. The people who can see my sister?” Ivy asked.
“Mr. Marson, I thought we agreed on keeping it from Ivy,” Carolyn/Violet shuddered.
“I had my reasons, we will discuss that later,” Mr. Marson said.
“Can you really see my sister? Were you telling the truth that day?” Ivy asked.
“What day?” Charles asked back.
“At the playground. It was never a dream, you aren’t a dreamer, you can see my sister. But Carolyn…”
“Since you believe in ghost existence now, then we should really be transparent with each other. Carolyn can also see Vee. The person standing here right now might appear as Carolyn, but she isn’t. Believe it or not, Vee was able to possess Carolyn’s body and this is she now,” Charles said.
“What…” Ivy slurred.
“I know,” Mr. Marson said, and they all looked at him.
“You knew?” Charles and Carolyn/Violet asked in unison.
“You’re… my sister…” Ivy grumbled in disbelief.
“Ivy,” Violet/Carolyn called, and embraced her.
