“Why is she taking so long to come? She already saw my message. In order to keep my friendship with Kayla, I have to come clean” She said with a cute smile.
“Hey pretty girl” Some group of thugs said to her and Isa stood up immediately she saw them.
“Who are you guys?” She asked, getting scared.
“We are good guys, we just want to have fun with you” One of them said and they laughed, walking closer to her.
“Don’t come near me! Don’t touch me!!”
And the next thing that was heard was, Isa’s painful scream, falling to the ground.
She moved backwards on her butts, looking so scared. “Don’t come closer to me! I am going to tell my daddy” She said, crying.
“You don’t have to report us, we just want to have some fun with you. You’re going to love it” Another guy said. They were actually four in number, and they’d be five years older than her.
“Don’t come here, I’m begging you” She cried. She couldn’t stand up to her feet because her knee was aching.
Isa screamed when they were about touching her, but someone stop them from doing so, by hitting a huge stick on their heads, and they fell to the ground.
Isa gulped down hard as she looked at the boy he was wearing a hoodie, and he was covering his face with it.
“Who the heck are you!” The leader of the gang shouted at him, and he face them taking off the cap of his black hoodie.
“Do you want to still know who I am?” He asked, and the four guys staggered.
“It’s Christian” They all said at once and took to their heels.
“Freaking bastards” Christian muttered and turn to look at Isa.
“Are you okay?” He asked trying to touch her, but Isa screamed.
“Don’t come near! Don’t R@PE me!” She said, trembling in fear.
“If I was planning on doing so, I won’t have helped you dummy” He said, and Isa slowly looked at him.
“You won’t?”
“No I won’t. Not all streets kids are bad” Christian said and his eyes spotted her injured knee. He sighed and squat close to her. Isa shifted backwards when he touch her knee.
“I am not a bad person, just stay put” He said, and brought out a handkerchief from his pocket, and he used it to tie her knee.
“You shouldn’t be here in the dark when you’re scared”
“I was just waiting for someone”
“Your boyfriend?”
“Of course not! I have never heard a boyfriend in my entire life” Isa said. Christian looked at her and smiled.
“So who were you waiting for?”
“It’s a friend of mine. I thought that she was going to show up but I guess I’m the only one who is obsessed in being friends with her”
“Even so, you should prioritize yourself first. You almost got R@PED”
“Who were those guys? They called you Christian. Is that your name? Do you know them?” Isa asked, and Christian smiled.
“One question at a time. Well my name is Christian and yes I know those guys. They are also from the streets like me”
“You grew up in the streets?”
“Yeah I did, because I don’t have fancy parents like you do” Christian said, looking at how elegant she was dressed.
“Stop looking at me that way” She muttered and Christian smiled.
“What about you? What’s your name?”
“My name is Isadora, but everyone calls me Isa”
“Well since everyone calls you Isa, I’m going to call you Dora” He said and Isa smiled, lightly.
“How old are you?” She asked.
“Why are you asking? Do you want to date me?” He asked, bringing his face closer to hers but Isa pushed his head away.
“Of course not! You’re not my kind of guy” Isa said, rolling her eyes and Christian chuckled.
“I’m fifteen” He answered and Isa looked at him with widen eyes.
“You’re fifteen? That means we are of the same age. Those guys were older, but how come they are scared of you?”
“I didn’t grow up in street for nothing” He answered, smiling.
“That means you’re a bad boy”
“Of course not. Not all kids from the streets are bad kids. I even saved your life”
“Thanks for helping me Christian. I attend the stars academy, what about you?”
“I don’t go to school. I’m better off in the streets than wasting my money schooling” He said, and backed Isa
“Hop on my back”
“Why?”
“I’m going to give a piggyback home. You have to lead the way”
“It’s fine. I can go home on my own”
“Do you want to get R@PED?” He asked and Isa quickly hopped on his back which made Christian smile.
“Gosh you’re weighted”
“Do you want to drop me then?” She asked and Christian shaked his head.
“No I won’t. I will seek to it that you get home safe” He said and began walking. Isa wrapped her hand around his neck and smiled, lightly.

“Wow! Is this where you live? Your dad must be loaded, Dora” He said looking at the mansion from outside the gate.
“Yes he is. Thanks for bringing me home, Christian. You should leave”
“Huh? You won’t invite me in for a cup of coffee?”
“My mom is going to get mad if she sees you here, so it’s better if you leave”
“Can at least have your number?”
“Why?”
“Oh, I am a street kid, and I am pretty sure you don’t make friends with people like me” Christian said trying to leave, but Isa held his hand.
“I will give you my number” She said and he smiled.

“Where did heck have you been Isa? I was worried about you” Debra said, while Rebecca stayed quiet. She was angry that her plans with Julianna didn’t push through. She has been calling Julianna, but she wasn’t picking.
“I’m sorry mom. I went out to see Kayla”
“Kayla? I thought I told you not to mingle with her. Have you forgotten how she accused you of poisoning her?” Debra asked.
“I thought I could make amends, but I just realized I was too obsessed with her and that’s why she treats me however she wants”
“What do you mean by that?” Rebecca chipped in.
“I am going to listen to you from now on, mom. I will stop being friends with her, and become her rival. I’m going to prove to her that’s she’s not the only one who can climb to the top. She took my friendship for granted, and I am going to make her dance to the beating of the music she created”
“Why are you sounding this way, Isa? Did something happen?” Debra asked, and Isa smiled at her.
“Nothing mom. I just want to change the weak girl I used to be. Goodnight mom” She said and went to her room.
“What has gotten into Isa”
“You should be happy about this, Debra. At least Isa is going to compete with Kayla”
“But it’s weird she wants to compete with Kayla, don’t you think?”
“I guess she has finally come to her senses” Rebecca said and got a message from Julianna.
💬 Let’s meet up tomorrow. I have something to tell you.
Rebecca looked at the message and sighed.

≤ LUCAS’S MANSION ≈ NEXT DAY ≥
“Thanks for preparing breakfast for me, Dad” Kayla said. She was already dressed for school.
“It’s nothing Kayla. When you are done eating, I will take you to school”
“Alright dad. Have you talked to Aunt Julianna?”
“I don’t want to have anything to do with her anymore”
“What about your wedding?”
“It’s been called off. I already talked to my mom, she’s sad, but she understands”
“Is it because of me?” Jane asked, approaching them. She just woke up.
Lucas looked at her for a while before answering. “It’s not because of you, Jane. Julianna is capable of murder”
“What do you mean by that, Lucas?” Jane asked.
“She was the one who poisoned Kayla. She did that so her wrong doings won’t be expose”
“That means Isa and her mom are innocent” Kayla said and quickly grabbed her phone.
“Oh no, Isa sent me a message yesterday”

Kayla’s phone chimed, and she brought out her phone from her bag.
“Why did Isa send me a message?” She muttered and was about reading it, but stopped halfway when she saw her mom crying at the corner of the house.
“Mom” She called her, going to where she was.

“I forgot to read Isa’s message last night. She must have waited for me. I’m going to school dad, I will apologize to her, for accusing her” Kayla said and quickly left the house.
“I can’t believe Julianna will go this far. She almost killed Kayla, and I blamed innocent people for it” Jane said.
“She’s working for someone, Jane. I already talked to Grace, and she’s going to arrest Julianna for attempted murder, that way we will find out who she’s working for”
“Thanks Lucas” Jane said hugging him, and Lucas remembered the kiss from last night.
“Do you remember what happened last night?” He asked, and Jane breaks the hug.
“I was drunk last night. Did I do something wrong?” She asked and Lucas shaked his head.
“No you didn’t. Freshen up, I will get you a hangover” He said, and Jane smiled at him.

≤ BOUTIQUE ≈ SAME DAY ≥
“Are you sure this is the only dress imported from china” Cassidy asked the attendance.
“Yes ma’am, and it’s one of a kind. You will be the only one who gets to wear it, because it was just one of this that was imported from china” She said, and Cassidy smile.
“Pack it up, I’m going to pay for it. Here’s my card” She said, giving her card to the attendance.
“Should I invite Ethan to a night club? He used to be the king of nightclubs fifteen years ago” Cassidy said, trying to call Ethan and she spotted him laughing.
“Speaking of the devil. I wonder who he is laughing with” Cassidy said and went a bit closer to him, and he saw him with Beatrice. He was actually shopping from her.
“Why does that woman look familiar?” Cassidy muttered and looked at Beatrice properly.
≤ FLASHBACK ≈ 15 YEARS AGO, CHINA ≈ HONG KONG ≥
Students who were 17-18 years were seen drinking and partying. Some were kissing and having s*x, while others where taking drugs. Ethan, who was seventeen years old back then was seen among those taking drugs.
“It’s so good to be from a rich family. We came all the way from LA to China, just to celebrate Ethan’s birthday” Cassidy said, and the rest cheered for him. They were twelve in number, and they were all classmates.
“I am not a bad boy for nothing. You can drink and have the ladies in this club, bills on me” He said, drinking and at the same time taking hard drugs.
They were inside a VIP suites inside the clubhouse.
“Do you want us to do a quick one after your birthday ends” Cassidy asked, placing a kiss on Ethan’s lips and he smiled.
“I’d like that” He said and was about kissing her when a friend of his entered the suite, holding young Beatrice. Her eyes were blindfolded.
“Hey Ethan. I got you a present” He said.
Ethan looked at her and smirked. “Who is she?”
“She works here in this clubhouse. She is all yours”
Ethan smirked and stood up from where he was sitting.
“Why is her eyes blind-folded?” He asked.
“Because she’s a gift. You should be the one to unwrapped her” His friend said and the rest laughed.
Ethan took off her blind-fold and her eyes were blurry. She wasn’t seeing clearly.
“What’s wrong with her?”
“Since you’re going to have her tonight, it will be better if she doesn’t recognize you, right?” He asked.
“Go on bad boy, have her for tonight. She won’t remember a thing” His friends said. Cassidy looked at Beatrice and said.
“She’s not your kind of girl. Just looking at her, you can tell she’s a virgin” She said, smoking.
“I love virgins. I’m going to have her for tonight” He said, and smiled.

“I am hundred percent sure she’s the girl from fifteen years ago. I guess she doesn’t remember Ethan was the one who R@PE her fifteen years ago, and being on drugs that night, it will be difficult for Ethan to recognize her. How about will play a dangerous game, Ethan” Cassidy said and smirked.

≤ LUCAS’S MANSION ≈ SAME DAY ≥
“It’s okay, Joyce. Stop apologizing to me, I’m grateful to Rodolfo. If he didn’t come clean, Julianna would have pushed through with her plans. That’s why you should go back to him, you both are expecting a baby” She said and Joyce sighed.
“I’m so sorry, ma’am” She said and Jane smiled at her.
The door opened and Adrian entered the house.
“What are you doing here?” She asked and Adrian looked at Joyce
“I will leave you both to talk” She said and leave.
“So answer my question, Adrian. Why are you here?”
“Jane I… ”
“If you came here to apologize, then don’t do it. I already forgive you for what you did fifteen years ago, so please leave”
“What about us, Jane?” He asked with misty eyes.
“Were your ears clogged when I said I no longer love you? There’s no way we’d come back together. My love for you is already broken”
“But I still love you so much, Jane”
“Even if you cry a river, my heart won’t change, because it belongs to someone else”
“What do you mean by that, Jane” He asked, hiccupping.
“I love someone else and I love him more than I have loved you”
“Who is he, Jane?”
“You don’t have to know who is he, so leave” Jane said, and Adrian held her hand crying. Hee was in so much pains.
“Look me in the eyes and tell me you don’t love me anymore, and I will go” He said, sniffling.
Jane looked at him straight in the eyes and said. “I don’t love you anymore, Adrian. I will allow you to be Kayla’s dad, but you and I won’t work. My love for you is gone and broken. If I could go back to fifteen years ago, I’d have chosen the man I love now over you, at least I know he won’t have caused me the pains you brought upon me”
“Jane, I’m sorry for hurting you. Please give me another chance. Love me again, I’m begging you” He said going on his knees.
“Stop kneeing down to beg me Adrian, because my feelings won’t change. I love him so much right now. We were never meant for each other Adrian, so I’d advise you to go back to your wife and daughter” Jane said and went upstairs.
Adrian stayed on the floor, crying. “Jane” He muttered her name, crying heartbreakingly.

≤ ADRIAN’S MANSION ≈ SAME DAY≥
“What are you doing here?” Isa asked when she opened the door and sees Kayla. Rebecca wasn’t at home because she went out to see Julianna and Debra is in her company.
“You weren’t in school today, so I came to see you, Isa”
“What for her?” She asked.
“To apologize. I shouldn’t have spoken to you rudely. I’m so sorry for ignoring your message, something came up and I couldn’t read it. I’m sorry for not believing you, Isa” Kayla said.
Isa smiled and held her hand. “It’s okay Kayla”
“Yes. Thanks for accepting my apologies” Kayla said entering the house and Isa threw her a deadly glare from behind.
“Let’s go to my room, no one is home” Isa said and Kayla happily went with her.
Few minutes later, thunder strike in the sky, indicating it’s about to fall, and Isa smirked.
“Kayla can you help me with something”
“Sure, what could it be?” Kayla asked, and Isa smiled, holding her hand.
“Come with me” She said, taking her out of the room and went outside.
“It’s about to rain Isa, let’s go back inside”
“I’m just going to make it snappy. Can you please help me get my delivery outside the gate?” Isa said, and Kayla looked at her.
“I’d have done it, but my knee hurts”
“It’s fine. I will get it for you” Kayla said and thunder strikes in the sky, and Kayla screamed in fear.
“Don’t worry Kayla. It won’t rain. The weather forecasters said so”
Kayla took a deep breath before going outside the house, she looked around for the hairpin, but she couldn’t find it.
“Isa I can’t… ” Kayla stopped halfway when she could no longer see Isa, and before she could say another word, rain began to drop from the sky down to the surface of the earth, pouring itself on Kayla.
“Isa, please open the gate, I’m allergy to rain” Kayla said, hitting the gate. Her body was becoming red, and she was almost running out of breath.
“Please open the gate, Isa” Kayla cried.
Since it was a two storey building, Isa could see Kayla struggling to breathe from inside her room.
“I was planning on how to get back at you, but you walk into the lion’s den yourself. This is the beginning of my vergence, Kayla Meyers” Isa said and smirked, wickedly.
