She picked the book up from the floor and what was written at the book was;
BOOK OF CHRONICLES
**Hidden Mysteries**
“Woah! This is just like the one at the library at home” Echo muttered to herself and then she flipped the book open.
She furrowed her brows when the page of the book was blank. She continued flipping through the pages of the book but there was nothing written in it.
“Why can’t I see what’s written in this book” She said and then closed the book back. She needs to know why the pages were blank.
She went back to where Soraya was waiting and then showed her the book.
“Hey, where did you get that from?” Soraya asked.
“It fell from the shelf and I picked it up but the pages seems to be blank” Echo said and showed the blank pages to Soraya.
“Maybe the writing might have faded away. “
“That isn’t possible. I have a book like this at home and I think the book is trying to talk about something so I will keep the book till I find out what it entails” Echo replied and Soraya dragged her left ear.
“Ooouucchh” Echo yelped and tried to remove Soraya hands from her ear.
“You know you’re really stubborn. Try and listen for once it’ll really help you” Soraya said.
“Your hands are painful now I can’t hear you again” Echo complained with her lips pouted.
“Then do you want me to drag them again maybe this time you would turn deaf” Soraya said and tried to touch her ear but she ran away laughing while Soraya followed her from behind.
“Wait for me” Soraya yelled from the back.
“I won’t you have to catch me first” Echo also yelled as she giggled.
She was running and then she turned back to check if Soraya was still following her from behind but she didn’t see her again.
Just when she was about to turn back, she ended up hitting her head on something so hard like a rock.
But it wasn’t that it was a hard chest. She ended up imbalanced and was about to trip off but the person caught her by the waist just as she was about to fall.
“Easy angel” She heard Gordon’s voice and then she looked up to see him smiling at her.
“Oh… it’s you” She said and also returned the smile.
“Haven’t seen you around”
“I’m supposed to be saying that to you since I am always everywhere” She said and then he chuckled.
“Are you the wind or a gas that spreads everywhere”
“If you wanna say that then you can” She joked.
“Which book is that?” Gordon narrowed his eyes to the book in her hand but she quickly hid it at her back.
“It’s nothing… Just some book I saw in the library and it pricked my interest so I took it” Echo explained to him.
“Can I see it?” He asked.
“It’s not that special ” She tried to talk him out of it and she succeeded.
“Come lemme take you somewhere” He said and Echo nodded.
He grabbed her hand in his as they walked out of the castle giggling and talking about something.
“Where are you taking me?” She asked as they walked.
“You’ll see when we get there” Gordon replied and she sighed.
“Okay”
<FAIRY LAND**SPARKLE LAKES>
Glenda broke the kiss and then looked up at Sebastian with a flushed face while he was just staring at her.
His mind was flooded with different thoughts. Like what the kiss meant? Did she love him or not? Or she will just bad mouth him cause of his back ground.
Clearing his throat he finally spoke up, “What does that mean… Do you love…” He couldn’t even complete his words but Glenda understood what he was trying to say and she nodded.
A smile graced his cheeks as he pulled her into a heart warming hug and some tears of joy fell from his eyes.
“Like you return my feelings… I won’t have… ” Glenda shut him up with a kiss.
“You know you talk too much for a man” She teased him and he smiled.
“At least it’s not with anyone. I only do that whenever I am with you” Sebastian replied and she chuckled.
“So if I didn’t say anything you were ready to get married to Alan huh-“
“I knew right from the onset that you had feelings for me. You did a bad job in hiding your feelings and I was just waiting for you to confess and if you hadn’t then I would have done that and then suggested we elope” Glenda said.
“You were planning to elope with me cause to you don’t want to get married. How could you think of such?” Sebastian gasped.
“I wasn’t the one thinking. You were acting like a coward but what changed your mind?” She asked.
“Let’s leave that for later. What matters now is that you’ve accepted me so let’s think of ourselves for now other things would come later” And Glenda nodded.
Sebastian crashed his lips on hers and she reciprocated the kiss immediately as they devoured each others lips passionately.

Echo got back to the Castle exhausted. She had a great time with Gordon and seeing it was already getting late she suggested they go back.
Gordon told her to go back and that was why she came back to the Castle.
She suddenly thought of Leroy and she hadn’t seen him after the kiss. Making up her mind she decided to go to his room.
She went to his room and luckily he was in the room.
“What are you doing here?” He asked the moment she entered.
“You never came to check up on me and now you’re asking me this” Echo scoffed.
“I don’t want to talk to you just go” Leroy said and turned his back on her.
“Why don’t you want to talk to me. Then I won’t leave till you do so” Echo said stubbornly and went to sit on his bed.
“What are you trying to do?”
“You heard me clearly. I’m not leaving till you tell me why you don’t want to talk to me. The other time you came to my room suddenly and kissed me. Do you know how it was hard for me to forget about that kiss.” Echo didn’t know when she yelled at him.
“I see you’ve got some liver little bee. Since you want me to talk then you have to tell me what you were doing with Gordon” Leroy said and Echo smirked.
“We went for a walk and he told me so many interesting things. He made me smile so much that I never wanted to leave his company. I just wish that we could just continue our walk together. He is more nicer than you and…..”
“Enough!!!” Leroy yelled with a frown on his face. Echo purposely said also those things she said.
The reaction she was getting from him only means one thing. He was jealous seeing her with Gordon.
But she knew this big head before her, he won’t admit to that fact and she would make him do that.
“Why are you telling me to shut up. I’m just saying the truth” Echo said innocently.
“Then if you wanna continue hanging out with Gordon then you’re free to do so. ” Leroy scoffed.
“Sure I will go spend time with him. Maybe he’ll treat me like a woman. Just maybe..” Echo eyed him and turned to the door to open it but it wouldn’t open.
She chuckled. Why can’t he just attest to that fact. She’s sure that her words are eating him up.
“Why can’t the door open?” She asked.
“You’re not going anywhere. Gordon is nothing but a deceptive person”
“I’m not sure he is” She disagreed.
“I don’t want you going close to him. He’s not fit to be around you” Leroy said jealously.
“Why or are you jealous that I am hanging out with Gordon and not you” Echo said but he just scoffed.
“Jealous?” He said more like a question.
“Why would I be jealous even when it’s about someone like you. That’s the last thing I’ll be” Leroy denied.
“You’re jealous. If you aren’t you would let me go meet Gordon” Echo said and then he sped to her standing in front of her.
“Then what if I am. What if I am jealous of seeing any other guy with you. Isn’t that what you want to hear” He said raising a brow at her.
“Now that you know I don’t want any other guy staying around my Mate. You are mine and mine alone”Leroy said with so much possessiveness in his voice.
